Congratulations to @GBeskow on winning the giveaway for a New Randy Orton Apex Predator Sweater Gear!
Overall this was a really good weekend. The fact we got gears instead of a new poster was a very good change and something we could see more often, perhaps once or twice a month. There are lots of characters that could benefit from a gear and make them a little better.
- Solo: Rewards were pretty good. Being able to get a good amount of shards for upcoming CSS tours (Santa Hulk tours) was a great call and something we could see more often along with gears. With the amount of posters we were getting every month, working on who we wanted was becoming a tough task, so this change was good and allowed us to have a small break and focus on someone else. The only negative aspect was the high paywall on Tech Drew gear, i do agree with some spending being required but not an absurd amount unless it's a gamechanger item.
- Faction: Good overall. Having a special reward for working together is always something nice to have. Rewards were well balanced, although they were not amazing but good. Leaderboard could have been a little better, perhaps include some Premium Sweater bags for Top 10.
- Tours: We could have seen maybe 1-2 Premium bags rather than only Basic bags, maybe 5S Emerald tokens as well but otherwise they were ok. CSS and requirements were pretty fair and allowed everyone to have a chance at all rewards offered there. The only thing i'd change would be PH Drew shards and have some other posters as well, like all those featured in the weekend instead of just 1.
- Loot: Only thing to mention is that it should include a gear no matter at what rarity you pulled one of the posters that got a new gear this weekend.
If i win, which i hope i do but my luck is terrible, i'd like to get the new Apex Predator Randy Orton gear.

I've been wrestling fan for as long as I can remember now I have the opportunity to take some of my favorite Stars and use them and create them in ways I never thought possible thanks wwe community

The sweaters for each Christmas superstar is usually effective in making said superstar stronger. I would like to have the Roman Reigns gear sweater because I don't have the apes predator in my roster. Head of the table.

Best event so far ...

Beeing a wrestling fan for long time this game gaved me so much satisfaction by playing it. First of all you still have to work a little on some small bugs like freezing and connection problems that put you in difficulties over the game.About this event its awesome and those sweaters looks nice and powerfull giving each rooster great bonuses as for me if i get picked i would like Randy Orton Ape Predator Sweater. Great job for all your developers and Merry Christmas to all of you guys.

Contest is awesome. As always I wish it was more f2p. I would like Romans gear because that is the only way I will acknowledge him. Suffering Succotash Son.

I think there could be slightly more contest points, both faction and solo, in the tours. At least enough to get to the second highest milestone for f2p players. The difficulty seems to be a bit unbalanced between the hard mode tours and the hell mode, with the hell mode being far harder than both the normal and hard tours, exponentially so. The base level rewards given, not using the bonus character, could be slightly better as well, giving more resources, especially helpful for new players, to keep them from stalling out. The new gears are awesome, but I think keeping most of them behind the pay wall is a bit biased to the p2p players, especially the ones with big money to burn. A lot of the game comes off as tailored to the ones who continuously spend hundreds of dollars every contest. In all of this, I am not including the free characters being given out on the portal, as they are not directly related to the sweater contest. All criticism aside, I greatly enjoy the game, in spite of the flaws that I see, and have enjoyed it for years. I look forward to continuing to play and can't wait to see what 2022 has in store. As far as which prize I would prefer, head of the table Roman gear, as I'm closer to recruiting him than I am to getting Apex Orton.

Love the event so much to do.. kind of confusing on some parts

What do you like about the contest? What are you confused about?

Oh, it's an event where I don't get to win gears for characters I don't have. Really gets me in the holiday spirit. I apologize in advance if I'm more sour than usual doing this, but this weekend did little to temper my dislike for this event.
- Despite my general dislike of giving rare characters further boosts, I will say I do like the general concept of more gear in the game as a way of customizing existing characters. It almost makes me long for the days of relatively useless gear, having it act more as a purely cosmetic item.
- Showdown was pretty standard, not much to say. Thankfully the large number of matches required to fill in most requirements is offset by people actually being willing to drop their defenses day 2.
- Tours are also generally standard, but honestly I don't know why AJ was a requirement for the first one because I can't actually picture any of the current AJs being able to handle Hell mode, but sure, it keeps options open. I'm not going to complain about requiring Nikki to take out a 5SB on the women's tour purely because Nikki's kickout is so strong she could actually keep up with a 5SB at like 4SS.
- I'll be real, I hated the bags. Every time I opened one up and got Drew's shards (Tech Drew was/is pretty easy to recruit, and PH Drew is honestly too janky to be worth building period) it peeved me more and more. The basic bags were even worse because they included nothing but awful shards (oh boy, more AJ shards for the 22k I already have!) and I doubt anyone got any of the gears from them across the entire game.
- Speaking of rewards, for those playing at home: around 25% of coins and about 40% of TP were free. TP was higher than I thought, but it was real low for the event in general. Having Drew's gears at the end of the solo and faction are nice but Tech Drew's is unreasonable unless you whale out and PH Drew's gear is probably the least necessary out of all five gears.
- One of the bright spots was that PH Roman's gear was only 3 bucks, which genuinely shocked me. Being a gear that speeds a F2P guy up by one turn, I was expecting it to be part of a mega deal with how disproportionately valued a lot of the stuff tends to be.
- I felt it was a bit of a missed opportunity to not do anything with the 12 days event during this (even just giving out points/Hogan tokens), as it feels like that ended up being in a holding pattern, especially at this point. I have Santa Hogan at 4SB and I doubt he's going up any further during this run around, so it just feels like a holding pattern while something more important goes on.
As for gear, uh, Orton's - I'm closer to him, I guess.

If this feedback is chosen for the prize, I would like the Randy Orton gear.
Contest Concept
- Christmas sweater is a great theme, and the concept of the weekend contest - gear for already released characters to make them better - is something I'd like to see more often. There are so many characters in this game that are current superstars that could benefit from a freshen up in lieu of releasing a new character. More weekend concepts like this, please.
Solo Contest
- Capped talent-up is a bit of a letdown, especially a pretty low cap. I think people that hoard coins, TP, fuses should be treated on more-equal footing with whales - the former group of people are as dedicated with their time as the whales are with their money.
- Decent chunk of shards for Apex Orton and Tech Roman - I was able to unlock Tech Roman after the showdown ended with the shards I had plus those that were available in milestones that I reached with a minimum of spending, and I don't think I was alone in unlocking at least one of these two this weekend, so that's a big boost to folks' rosters. Again, more of this including shards of old chase characters in solo milestones, please.
Faction Contest
- Not much to say here, PH Drew gear for all is appreciated even if it's one of the weaker ones on offer this weekend. Felt like it was fairly straightforward to earn points.
Showdown
- Since it's a bit more stable than feud is these days, I appreciate these weekends because the game just works as it should versus feud weekends when loading circles are in abundance.
- The match requirements were a little much, even with lowered defenses - there are not many good, readily-available Romans out there and I don't know if there's a single good AJ out there - and any time you involve people with -4 MP or more perks, a lowered defense can only do so much with these severely out-of-date characters. Thankfully, there were enough solo points available in tours and minimal spending tasks that I was able to ditch the showdown without going through the arduous task of winning dozens of matches with Icon Roman.
Loot
- Didn't see many good pulls this weekend in the various Discord chats. Seemed like it was pretty diluted. Bags tended to have a lot of Tech Drew shards, which is good for folks that don't have him yet, but I also got a lot of Acro AJ shards, which is a VERY unfortunate luck of the draw situation. It wasn't a loot that I was anxious to spin.
Overall
- Nothing wrong with giving developers a week off from creating characters and focusing on building up existing characters to compete in the current meta, a facet of the game that I feel gets overlooked quite a bit. Not the best event, but certainly far from the worst this game has seen. Onward.

Simply the best game of the century. All the staff the developers need to be praise. For this outstanding game . Thanks a lot.

This was a fun event. I like the idea of adding gears to make characters a bit stronger to keep up with the meta.
I enjoy showdown events as I can complete them at my own pace. The rewards were pretty fair, got several shards of characters I am missing and finally recruited Powerhouse Drew.
I would like a way to earn the premium pulls without spending. Say if you win a showdown match with a specific character 100 times, you get a free loot coin pull, or something like that.
all in all, an enjoyable event. I don’t have Orton or Roman, but the Orton gear seems better, so I would like that one

I really enjoy the different game modes available and the various events. One thing I’d like to see changed is the rarity of the special cards available in the loot. Having a 5*Gold character, available in a mixed loot with 1% success rate, is a little too much to ask. You can always put 1/2/3/4* characters in there and let us build them up. Maybe we can’t have the OP 5* version but a lower card would incentivize me to build them up and, perhaps, make more purchases.
if I win the gear, I’d like the Orton gear, for my account.
thnaks and Meery Christmas, Happy Holidays and Happy New Year to all the Champions.

Overall the contest was ok. I wish shards were attainable earlier in the milestones as hotting the upper milestones require you have the character already. I would like the Randy Orton sweater if chosen.

This was the first event that I was a bit confused as there were so many moving parts going on at once. Maybe have all feed into a bigger event such as the hulk one leads into faction and solo event and not being separate

Hi, thank you for giving us a chance for the gear and give some feedback. Overall, the contest is good but the chance to get the sweaters are very limited and rewards are sub-pair common shards. If chosen I would like to receive the Randy Orton Sweater, Thanks

Overall this was a very good event. I'll outline below the positives and negatives from my prospective on this event:
+Considerably easier to max compared to previous events, significantly less spending was needed.
+Rewards were relatively good for the amount of effort needed.
+Tours were fine, though i know many will feel the hogan tours were overtuned they were doable with a 4s hogan and a little luck.
+Faction event was really fair and not impossible like some previous events. It is always good to see more then a handful of factions max the event.
+The showdown bonuses consisted of mostly easy to achieve characters besides Orton and overall this made the whole showdown go fairly smoothly.
+A good amount of shards for characters that people might not have had yet
-In general I dislike m/f and f/m showdowns since we lack a good deal of tag links related to those types of matches that arent era or hof/mutant/motu/etc type links.
-Not so much event specific but i wish there was a way to know how many solo points were available still to come from the tours after we have completed two days worth, it would make planning stuff and figuring out what you need to max alot easier.
There is not a lot that is really overtly negative about this event. For an event that didn't feature a proper chase this was really good event. I wouldn't mind similar events going forward since it is a good change of pace.

Hi,
the event itself was fine and fun to play.
Showdown was pretty standard, nothing to complain about. Contest Stars were reasonable and the match count was a bit of a grind but that was actually asked for in earlier showdown events so that’s fine for me.
Solo and faction event were both fine with good rewards for free to play and casher players could get some neat stuff aswell. Maybe the number of needed loot coins to max Solo Event was a bit high but I have seen worse ;)
The only complaint I would have this weekend ist that the whole event was aimed around the gears but pretty much no one actually got any of them . I admit I spent quite a few bucks to not even see any of the „gear champs“ drawn. The bags were awful aswell it seems, at least in my faction no one got any of the gears in one of the bags. I think if the event is completely about gears at least one of them should be obtainable without spending the whole paycheck.
Overall tho the event was fun to play with lots of tours and stuff to do.
In case I am winning I would like the gear from : Roman Reigns Head of the Table.
Thank you.

Been playing since day 1. Been through the ups and downs. I've wanted to quit, but it always comes through for the players. Keep up the great content!

Feedback for Sweater Smackdown Event
Milestones
- The milestones were broken down to accommodate F2P and Spenders which I'm ok with.
- I decided not to spend this event and managed to reach the milestone I expected to without a lot of effort so I commend this.
Rewards
- Love all the free rewards given out even though most of them were given out earlier.
- Incoming Feedback: Didn't appreciate the fact that certain gears were mentioned on the blog (for RIP mas event) but suddenly changed without any notice. This was already pointed out previously and we're all aware posts on blogs are subject to change. Personally, it didn't bother me as I had all those gears anyway however from a player's eyes when you say something is available and you suddenly take it away a day later, you should at least compensate with something rather than just removing and expect people wouldn't notice or bring it up. This is just not the right way of handling this situation especially since we're all your paying CUSTOMERS including F2P as we pay with our time and enjoyment of playing your game.
Loot
- Didn't spend on it this time.
- I will also say even though the Juggernaut Roman Gear was cheap and so compelling not to buy, I didn't get it. Just the fact that the gear didn't seem like it would have been a game changer.
Difficulty
- Tours were very do-able and the requirements weren't too paywalled.
- SS requirements for SD was do-able and would commend you continue this way so it allows people to get on with their weekend lives and not have to commit to grinding heavy to complete SD requirements.
Superstars / Gears
- It's been a while where we had a weekend event without the release of a new character but again you gave out a free Santa Hogan so maybe that explains why.
- I do love the use of creating new gears and would like to see those eventually added to the gear loot.
- Feedback: Please revamp the use of gear hanger tokens as I'm sure a lot of us are ramping up on these and it would be good for us to make use of this in some type of prizewall to exchange for gears we don't have otherwise it's really pointless considering we know the odds from the gear loot pull isn't going to fetch us any rare gears other than commons.
Overall Event
- Nothing not to like as the event was a different change of pace with the introduction of gears. I think this is good to do once every month so people don't complain of too many new character releases.
- Furthermore introducing gears for characters who have fallen off the meta would allow them to be viable again so I'm hoping to see more of these to come.
GIVEAWAY CHOICE:
Should my feedback be chosen as the winner of this giveaway then I would like to have the gear for Apex Predator Randy Orton.

I think the sweaters are great and would love tech drews ugly sweater. I also think this should become a continuous thing. Where as characters we don't see in loots any more brought back with a new gear rather than a new version of a character.

Enjoyed the contest decent way to get shards for some characters. However it was not possible to max out the faction contest with the out spending a decent amount of money by each memeber or spend 4000 hp each

The sweater smackdown contest is hopefully something that should come more often instead of new characters, rewards being new gear to make the "old" characters more competitive to the new . Further more making the SD solo contest more achievable. I had all characters and got all coins, and wasn't even close to the two final milestones.

Not a great contest as no new superstar added to the game. Tours were good but not much solo or contest points in them.
Also as for rewards in solo and faction contest were normal not extraordinary. There were not much there for us to achieve faction or solo contest final milestones without spending.
Contest superstar for showdown were nice choice but points with winning from them were not much great. It was giving very less points.
Overall second bad weekend after faction boss weekend in this mlc.
I will choose Roman gear if i won which ia very rare as been writing fedback for long.
0 -
It was bad, plain and simple.
- Watching top tier characters you have to pay to have get gear upgrades that you have to pay to unlock is a twist of the knife to the vast majority of the players.
- I don't care too much about introducing new characters, but I would really like to see upgrades to existing players. Gear events are a great opportunity to do this.
- The showdown event can be splices into 2 timeframes to get point (pre and post refresh). I could not for the life of me, even with promoters, break into the final notoriety tier pre-refresh. If I played a match that gave me 20+ points, I would return to the screen to see that I lost 30+ points. This happens every time with these events, and it needs to stop.
- The contest rewards during these showdown events are getting worse. I hate the male/female showdown events, but would like them much more if I could change the order in which they are played (as in, to be able to have the female wrestlers start the match). It takes far too much grinding to get far too little reward.

No new character was definitely the only PLUS in this event....you're throwing in too many characters in a month.
Rewards-wise it was a tragedy....seriously, the Boiler event structure was definitely THE structure and you threw it away.
Contest superstars were....well, let's give'em an OK, but a high amount of matches to play to get such low amount of rewards can't definitely be ever a plus, I mean...
Maybe there's another plus, I must admit that an old Chase Character like Striker Orton (the gear I'd pick) getting a general revamp (gear, Riddle, etc) makes past efforts to get him more worthwhile...although, about Riddle, I'm not exactly a huge fan of coaching abilities that are maxed at 5SG....
