Stunning Steve Austin Debut Contest + Giveaway

  • Hard work. Rewards weren’t enough to cover how difficult it really was.

enjoyed the overall event but either needs more achievable rewards or better rewards if you want that grind

Overall, I didn't have a problem with the event. I personally like that the warscore is tied to the faction event. It gives feuding purpose. Just need to make the faction rewards worth it. The tours were easy to get shards. I liked how there was ways to get points in multiple events for doing the same thing.

Continuing the trend of ending the MLC with a strong weekend event, this event gets a solid thumbs up from me.

    • The total number of shards available was significantly better than 99.9% of events. Players were able to get to a position (1905 shards) where some spending guaranteed the card. The amount of spending varied depending on how much feuding and talent up someone was willing to do. Excellent. This is exactly how events should work - spending helps progress but isn't the only option.
    • Increased points for talent up, with no limit. Massive improvement here. The options to double-dip were very limited (2 new-gen strikers excluding Austin), but overall this was great.
    • Better rewards for higher warscore. I was glad to see the Macho King and Shayna case return and I hope it continues every month. I would still be months away from recruiting either character but it gives a big incentive to max the warscore event each time.
    • The faction event was much better balanced than recent weekends. A reasonable feud score got players close to their faction 1%, and some talent up did the rest.

    I disliked:

    • Leaderboard rewards really need to be extended. Again, only the top 3 earned the poster through warscore which just isn't enough. By offering 10 posters, far more players will feel they have a chance to compete. The drop-off from 3rd to 4th is, as always, too steep. If 4th-10th can't earn posters directly, the reward should be a significant amount of shards or something else of value.
    • Warscore steps. Can we just get rid of them at this point? Did anyone at all buy them this weekend? Without leaderboard places to compete for, people don't have a reason to buy them. On top of all this, there is no available slot to use for players who already have both sets of perks. If you really insist on monetizing warscore steps, why not put them all in a $20 pack with a couple of loot coins? This way players can spend their first loot coin and speed up their feuding for a 'small' cost. Pricing them at $70+ doesn't make sense for anyone not chasing the top 3 spots. A more reasonable cost would be more appealing to a much larger pool of players.
  • Negative perks And overall matchmaking desperately need a rework, if simply not fun to run into a teem full of 5*s that nerf you into oblivion with perks

I like the grind aspect of the war score contest and the ability to do talent up to get further in the solo contest. I may be in the minority, but I take what I can get from milestones and don't really worry about what I cant get.

  • Happy to spend a few hundred a month the amount currently required to compete on a monthly basis is way past that. So sick of these pay to play events I'm sorry if you can't get past milestone idk what it was 12ish without spending and like 25k talent up the event is garbage.

  • Likeable limited time contests its enjoyable to play, however always too difficult to accumulate enough shards to receive their characters

  • O think it was very good event you have to grind to get some rewards i did everything but still missed out on him by few shards hope to get him sometime else thanks

Los eventos están cada vez más difíciles de lograr dado que no mide habilidades sino nivel de gasto

    Typical cookie cutter event.

    WAY TOO MUCH GOING ON

HOF event, Stunning event, Brock Friday, Event, Warscore, Fued. Way too much.

Stagger the events so a person can focus on them.

When's the next inventory clean up?!???

Let's talk about that how about with each event (or once it's ended) you put out a currency redeem, ie any remaining turn buckles, whatever just redeem 1:1 for coin "purchase all" feature.

This contest along with lady couple been impossible to hit milestones. The odds of pulling contest wrestler is. 001% then only give a minimum amount of shards for the wrestler and no chance in hell to obtain. I think the getting part needs to be set with rubies or the chest be filled with rare wrestlers that are hard to get. Same ole shards of wrestlers that isn't really worth building (even for t trainers). Solo contest can't even be finished for the whales. Spending thousands to max is asinine. Especially when there is a new contest weekly.

Quit making this game a money grab. Up the odds of getting someone new. Fix the red circle of death in feuds so people have a slightly better chance to obtain one more milestone.

  • I thought it was a good contest wish I would of gotten him im 360 shards short and a little under a million to max it but for the most part I enjoyed the contest

the chance character shards are difficult to get when you don’t have deep pockets. A lot of us love this game. It seems y’all are about the money and not yet fun anymore. The showdown events can’t get any further milestones with out paying. The feud events are awful. You would think the score you make would help with the solo also. Hope y’all have a great holiday .

Well I originally thought this was a good event, then you went and ended it early as I was about to do my last loot pulls to max the event, and got screwed out of the final milestone. So I spent money and lost out on recruiting Austin plus the nwo skill plate bc of your error. This needs to be made right immediately, as I feel cheated out of money and the over 100 million coins I used to talent up strikers and new gen to help max the event. Someone please reach out and fix this!!

  • solo tours were solid. More choices of people to use helps

last I feel opening stunning Steve should give you points and not have to use Steve in the contest also to get points. Just straight “ok you got him here’s points”

Ok event as whole. Nothing stood out as special or bad.

Main Evemt had good rewards placed fairly imo.

Make all community event milestones like this with better rewards.

  • Dislike the negative perks again, it will always feel bad to see investment in certain characters squandered, and that's before even considering the high coin cost.

Being able to talent up to hit the max is always welcome and should be the norm for completionists.

Great event overall but I think the wars one competition should have given out solo points also.

Tours were OK on a large scale but low key hard for some of us with the opponents we had to face. Loved feud though, it may have had some bad spins with the loading thingy but was ok

A few months back we had a great event with a bunch of interlocking parts. This time we have a similar bunch of disparate events but no linkage. Thats a shame because the other way was fun.

Feuds have been garbage lately. Bland rewards, too many red rings, perks ruin everything they touch, and matchmaking has been a disaster with 5sg in the mix. Now, sometimes this disaster has fallen in my favor. I get matched up with an opponent that has nearly a full lineup but their total talent is similar to the 4 guys I bought and its a cakewalk. But there are far, far too many instances of being matched up with a 5sg for people that have nothing near that. Its not good for the game.

I really dislike bringing in only one half of a tag team. If you have no plans to bring Pillman in then why do a Stunning Steve? I know, I know...you can use Steve's likeness so its easy. We have enough Steve Austins, HBKs, HHHs, Undertakers, and John Cenas now. You can stop. Most of them could have just been gear, like John Tenta.

I also think doing a fuse/evolve heavy event at the end of an MLC, when we all know full well there's going to be a talent up a few days later, is kind of crappy.

    My feedback

    IGN-SMAMS

    WEEKEND Superstar (7/10)

    • Austin is a strong character.
    • Perfectly matched with mlc theme
    • 2000 shards was too much 1200-1600 should be there to recruit.
    • There should be more shards bag.

    Tours(8/10)

    • both tours seems to be okay, austin tour was decent with solo points.
    • But rock tour was lacking solo contest points to climb solo milestones.

    Solo contest(6/10)

    • It had nice rewards
    • There were less chance to obtain solo contest points.
    • Even Feud can't help in achieving solo milestones

    Faction contest(8/10)

    • Good faction contest rewards
    • Hard to achieve last milestone for 20-50 top factions also
    • Need to add some solo points also in faction competition
    • Need improvement there

    Warscore competition(7/10)

    • 10 M for all faction contest points was too much. 7.5 m will be ok since its not flash feud. 10M is ok in only flash feuds.
    • Need to add some shards of rare superstars to increase participation.
    • Also there should be some solo contest points in there.

    Feud(7/10)

    • Hogan required in middle lane was the worst part as not all have him. There should be last month chase character in this type of slot.
    • Contest superstars matches was not showing in line up section which was broken
    • Last event should be flash feud.

    Loot (N/A)

    • Paid loot was decent one.

    Suggestion

    • Its look like, when a mlc completed, there were no importance of a chase character or free mlc character. There should be more use of past mlc character in next mlc as a contest superstar in blitz, tours, feud and showdown.
    • Solo milestones rewards should be achievable without spending as people now tired of spending.
    • Faction milestones should be achievable for atleast top 50 faction.

    Overall

    • 7/10 event

  • I think the contest was very good because it worked well with the feud and it gave people a chance good character like the stunning Steve. My sister is not that high and she's just basically just starting but what little she could do in the field and with the coincide of the vent she was able to pull the stunning Steve. So it worked out well giving people a chance that don't have the money to put into the game to get a good character by just working a little hard she wasn't able to do a lot on the feud maybe one or two characters because of how low her stuff is but he was able to do enough and I appreciate you guys having something where low level can succeed. I had fun with an event but I also wasn't sure why the rock was one of the characters on the event though I would understand the early Rock in blue cuz that was closer to that error but other than that it was cool and it worked well with the feud

Contest is geared too much towards spending money.

I get that is important for the game to make needed money, but as some1 who cannot afford to pay, I'd like for it to at least be possible to achieve all milestones without spending.

Maybe add different tasks that don't involve spending, but have a higher difficulty.

The brock event happened so fast and so close to the Austin one I barely registered it. Add on top of it that it was the post thanksgiving weekend, so I didn't have much time to give it, anyway. I played a little of the faction fued, but just enough to get a few rewards. Seemed like most any other time they have this event wherein if you don't dedicate your life to grinding you won't get the "big prizes." not unlike the cash based event, wherein if you don't spend an absurd amount of money you don't get anything very interesting.

As this game continues to do this it is only growing the rift between those who want to play the game and those who are either sponsored or spending an unrealistic amount of money. I can't stand when I'm ever, like in the faction feud event, forced to face overpowered opponents. It makes me want to put this game away for good. If in a year's span I'm lucky to get enough shards or lucky pulls to get 2 or 3 high ranked characters (at low star rating) and I'm put up against someone that has an entire lineup of elite characters at full star rating, then the game is stacking the deck against me and essentially saying, "sorry, you haven't given us enough money. stop playing."
