Why have you wasted all this time and money developing something for 16 people?
Surely you could have come up with something for the whole community, not just your developers and special chosen streamers.

Did anybody else get an error trying to claim their tournament ticket? I tried to claim mine and it said error and now it appears to be unavailable.

I feel concept was good but getting connected to stipulation tour was boring and very limited will play and remaining cheering it. Doesn't give that great entertaining thing

A big announcement aimed at 16 people and a few YouTube streamers. Should have been multiple tournaments depending on roster size so everyone had a chance. Also want to point out this is not a game of skill. This looks like it is just for The 6 figure spenders so they can get a new virtual trophy 🤷♂️

Honestly… I don’t see how Scopely thinks this is a good idea as this is mainly meant for whales and 99.9 (repeatedly) percent of the fan base will not be able to participate…

Yawn know I won't be doing this. No point whatsoever. Here compete good luck 16 people get entered. Than ya get to pick who wins it. As if I care at that point lol. Great minds coming up with this idea 😆🤣

Echo what others have said. A tournament essentially for the top 16 spenders. Waste of time. Almost as bad an idea as Invasion was.

What a bunch of crap. game crashes and you lose the ticket and any progress that you made. Unfair advange for players that crash due to no fault of there own. Why not fix crash issues before you start adding more stuff like this

because crash issues aren't a simple fix its largely tied to the device you play on.

So on top of the top 16 moving on and having most of the players base watching from the side lines… they have to PAY for more picks after the first 2… the greediness and lack of empathy for 99.99999999999999999999999999% of the player base makes me really question the amount of money I put in per month

All players get 2 free picks for Round 1. If a player has 0 picks when Round 2 starts, they get 1 extra pick. If they have 1 or more picks when Round 2 starts, they get no extras.
There are no bonus picks after Round 2. and you can save your picks if you want, though the value does not change

The concept of gamestreaming is somewhat interesting. Could be profitable when watched by many. :-)
That sums up the interests of the project I guess.
It could have been something enjoyable for the community (and beyond), ...yet it already is a missed opportunity.

I take it the (best players) final 16 get another opportunity to gain more of those scarse coins that would get them the iowUndertaker to get even more points in these stipulation tours.

QUESTION 5:
Why spread the event over that many days?,...could be done over a weekend in my opinion.
Qualifiers could take some more time, yet the finals could be done faster. Even flashfeuds are spread over the weekend.
There is no support base to watch those twitched vids, without real benefit.
On the contrary,...scopely will more likely charge for even backing up a competitor in this event...

Well first off undertaker doesn't help with stipulation tours. 2nd most of the players either have him or could have him but aren't stupid enough to recruit him.

He can only be purchased in the Marquee Shop, for which the final 16 have more opportunities to fetch them marquee coins.

I think that competitions like the one currently going should be fair and have a chance for everyone to win something. Whether you are just starting or your veteran in the game it should be grouped into more than one category so that the smaller people can have a chance at winning a competition without going in and thinking there's no chance because of the bigger factions and bigger players. If you have broken it down and to talent categories x amount of talent to y amount of talent will be in this grouping for the competition, then there's a chance for even the smallest players to win a competition and actually grow and participate in the game. I know if I was smaller I wouldn't even give a damn about this competition because I knew I would have no chance at all. It would increase participation and increase the people participating in competitions like this in participating in the overall game. When people actually have a chance at winning something they'll play more spend more and in the game becomes more fun because you actually have a chance being in a group that's closer to your skill level and talent. It shouldn't be one competition overall where the biggest always win there should be multiple competitions of the same kind but in different groups

Well I appreciated the free marquee tour coins.
That was it. Literally, that was it. What a colossal waste of time. If you wanted to make it fun you shouldn't allow anyone to buy their way into more runs. But of course you wouldn't do that because any competition in this game is strictly tied to getting people to open their pursestrings.
I get you gotta make money but making a competition linked to how much money someone is willing to spend just reeks of diarrhea.

If you are going to make an elite tournament. It's on you to do it right. Not spend 5 seconds hitting control v for a shit show. Like you did, once again.
This contest in absolutely no way recognizes your best players, not even remotely. You are crediting your team with putting out a poorly planned tournament that rewards the player who has the most time to not (fill in the blank), Because, honestly, at this point, that's more rewarding.
You selected an extremely limited player base to continue on past qualifying. (Therefore disenfrachising most of the base from the get go).
Then after giving the select players a limited amount of time to play around with new rules and..
Wait for it...
Stipulations. For a Stipulation tour.
You change said stipulation for the tour (go ahead, let's hear the excuse on the coding and execution of the tour, because yawn, melatonin isn't cutting it.] Please don't say it's open for everyone. The point of stipulations is to push your brain cells, use your toasters, trainers, straps, medals and all of the other hullabaloo. You just killed that. Didn't even need to break any gems!
You allow them to:
1.) Upgrade superstars on the pretense they will be required.
2. Spend currency moving straps, plates, medals, and trainers.
Are you reimbursing them resources due to your poor coding?
Now, are we supposed to applaud the sucker who wasted time replaying a no pin bar move with a chase character.? It's not talent required here, it's time.
Or applaud the dev team for incompetence?
Or, do you fix your it. There's time on the clock yet (since you extended it from 24 hrs to 48), and we actually applaud a person who utilizes their roster, trainers, coaches, belts, and all the other party favors you've shared since day one-ish.

I was wonder how I got to do 3 runs with the 3 sets of tickets I got. And after I did my 1st run and was super high up. Then tried to do the next 2 sets of runs and none of my points counted. Imagine that. Something you guys do don't work right.
Then apparently others could spend to do more runs. Why can't it just be do 1 run. And if you have a few cascades that cost you a few points tadaaaa. That's it. Placement is set!
Not... wait for it.. Oh crap. I can spend to redo or pad a lead up cause I really wanna get a better advantage over 75% of the player base. That isn't set to be for a community event. That's set for you to screw everyone from doing anything in this game. No one has a chance if it's open wallet and roll out my magnum condom that will never get filled up with a real Johnson. Just your ego.
So is this new boss crap going to be as piss poor as this? If so I want no part of it. Do you guys really listen to us anyway or just do like my ex wife and do what the hell you wanna do.
Do me a favor.
You put yourself in our shoes and experience everything we have to deal with like you guys. Then I'm sure you guys will understand what we as the community have to deal with.
Last of all this showdown was a shitshow and so poorly scaled to get rewards!

Game was on a slow decline but quickly picking up pace. The idea that a company saw this grand tournament as a good idea speaks volumes about the lack of creativity. Please posts are correct about catering to whales.

Thought what I was doing was picking players to win turns out I was favouring them. Haven’t used pick ‘em then which wasn’t made clear. Also stipulation tour is the worst mode that could have been selected. Feud mode pitting player v player would have been best. Hope this helps for the next grand tournament as personally think This time has been a trial but fail

Although I didn't participate directly as I saw it as the bodge it would be, I am massively annoyed at the incompetence shown by scopely , the coders and the entire event . Multiple issues, lack of communication then a "change" as the expected winners weren't winning. A complete farce
