Grand Tournament FAQ:
What is a Grand Tournament?
WWE Champions' Grand Tournament is a competitive mode where the top players compete in head-to-head Matches to get the highest scores in a single-elimination knockout format. The WWE Champions Community can follow along by picking winners, favoring Competitors, and watching video streams of Matches. Competitors will battle for the chance to be named Grand Champion and earn some amazing rewards. But viewers can also earn rewards, including Rubies and Web Coins.
How do I enter the Grand Tournament?
In order to participate in the Grand Tournament, you must be League Level 6+ and qualify via the Qualification Round in-game. But don’t worry, if you fail to qualify you can still find plenty to do on wwechampions.com for the duration of the Grand Tournament. View the bracket, pick winners, support your Favorites, and learn the secrets to other players’ successes, all with ample opportunities to earn rewards!
When does the Grand Tournament start?
The first Grand Tournament will begin on November 18, 2021.
How long do I have to complete a Grand Tournament match?
Players have 24 hours to complete their Match in each round.
How long do I have to Pick winners and Favorite Competitors?
The prep phase lasts for 24 hours between each round. You can only engage in Pick’ems and Favor players during the prep phase.
Can Competitors do Pick’ems on their own Matches or Favor themselves?
No. Competitors are not able to pick themselves or their Competitors. They also can’t give Favors in a Match where they are a participant.
What happens if scores are tied at the end of a Match?
In the unlikely event of a scoring tie, the player with the higher Roster Power will win the Match.
Grand Tournament Scoring & Favors (Flames)
How do you calculate my score?
A Competitor’s score consists of their Match score plus a score boost from Favors. Supporters can give a Competitor a Favor (represented by a flame icon) both prior to and during a Match. The Competitor with the most Favors when the Match ends earns a pre-determined scoring boost. For the inaugural Grand Tournament, that scoring boost is 5%. The Favor count for a Competitor resets between rounds and after the Grand Tournament ends. There is no score boost during the Qualification Round.
How long does it take for my score to update?
Please allow up to 5 minutes for the brackets/leaderboards to be refreshed.
How do Favors work?
Registered players on wwechampions.com who are not competing in the Grand Tournament, will receive a limited amount of Favors (flame icon) that can be sent to Competitors who are currently competing, to contribute to their Match scores.
How impactful are Favors to a player’s total score?
The Competitor in a Match with the most Favors gains a 5% scoring bonus to their game score. If Competitors have an equal number of Favors, then neither receives the scoring bonus. The number of Favors a Competitor has resets each round.
Can I purchase more Favors?
Yes, Favors can be purchased with Web Coins. Just click on the + next to the Favors in your Inventory.
Do my Favors carry onto future Tournaments?
No, Favors reset after each Grand Tournament.

Am I required to live stream?
No. The Competitors in the final rounds are not required to live stream but can earn extra rewards for live streaming. Competitors are able to link to their Twitch account on wwechampions.com and schedule streams to showcase their Match.
Can I live-stream my matches?
Yes, you are able to live stream all of your Matches. If you live stream on Twitch, you can connect your account to wwechampions.com and share your stream on the Match-up page.

Rewards & Pick’em
What do I earn if I win the Grand Tournament?
The prizes vary each Grand Tournament but check the WWE Champions blog for the latest rewards.
How does Pick’em work?
Players will receive at least one Pick’em Token during the Grand Tournament and may be given additional Tokens. You can also gain more Pick’em Tokens through the Store Offers page. To use a Pick’em, you select the Competitor you believe will win the Match during the preparation phase (prior to the Match starting). An incorrect Pick earns you some Web Coins and a correct Pick earns you some Rubies. Exact amounts may vary by Grand Tournament. You can see the details of the rewards on the Match-up screen.
Can I choose myself in Pick’Em?
No, you will be unable to Pick yourself in Matches where you are a Competitor.
Can I play Pick’Em in Qualification Matches?
No, you are only able to pick the winner in Tournament rounds.
When can I use my Pick’em Tokens?
You’re only able to do Pick’ems during the prep phase, in the 24 hours between rounds. If the round has already started, you will be unable to make a Pick.
Do Pick’em Tokens carry over to future Grand Tournaments?
Yes, your Pick’em Token inventory carries over for the next Grand Tournament if you have not used them.
