Unlike the last few weekends, the good outweighs the bad

    Good:

This is actually how an event should be. Having a cap of 99.999 (or whatever it was) on the 2020 zombies means that anyone who wants to sit there all day and max it can without spending. Which I did.

There was a decent range of characters as bonus, new and old so that everyone had a crack at it.

Also, for the last few SDs, there is a good range of opponents. Not just all 5SG tech mankinds. You seem to have resolved this so well done.

faction event: was completable! After the rock bottom rubbish of the last feud, where I’m not sure if any factions made the last milestone, this was much better and motivational.

One last thing on “the good” was that the milestones gave good rewards. Useful to faction and solo progression.

    Bad:

The pay out on pulls is still worse than ever. Watching content creator videos, checking my faction on discord, there was no motivation to do the pulls.

BUT that was about the only downside. You’ve had a good weekend. Well done.

  • All in all, it was a good contest. The showdown event was fine, no crash this time. I just dislike, that you had to spent so much money to max a event. Even when maxing both days in showdown, I just coultd reach level 11 of 15. This should be better for "ordinary" players, who like to play much.

  • First it was great to split up the solo portion into a spend and grind aspect like you have done with feud. I personally would like to see the 2 completely separated with no solo for spending being counted towards grind portion to fully reward the players who are willing to play the hours it takes to finish on top of the leaderboards.

2nd the contest was very free to play friendly even if a free to play player didn't max.

3rd the faction was easily maxed for any faction that had active members.

4th the tours were not difficult to complete and milestones rewards were very attainable

5th giving a free zJeff on the portal for new players whom may not have had him was also a nice touch. Maybe an in game popup about it would have encouraged more to join the portal.

Overall it was a very good event for someone like myself whom works overnight and weekends. I was able to make the purchases i wanted for the loot milestones and could have maxed the solo without spending a penny if I chose.

This showdown event was just OK, and I'll explain.

    The Good:

-The solo event was grindable, and able to be maxed without spending...great improvement.

-The required characters were a decent mix of rare and common.

-Showdown and the game in general ran well during the event.

-The rewards were good, but could/should have been better.

    The Bad:

-This was yet another copy/paste/repeat event.

-This seems to be the 20th event in a row where you get the card or get 1/2 the required shards.

-You either got Mankind from an event bag or not.

-Maxing the solo and faction events should get you closer to the event character.

-It seems like the amount of total shards for the event card were lowered.

I really thought this showdown was fine right for a change. The addition of the win with the 2020 zombies made it to where you didn't have to spend too get the final milestone. I never pulled mankind not bought a coin and still was able to max the event. Definitely a grind but was obtainable.

Thanks for the changed you make this time.

Best Showdown event of the year personally.

Tour bonus characters were all relatively common giving the player base an opportunity to max.

Being able to max solo event by grinding was really good. Having the spend event separate was a massive plus.

Faction event was easy enough to max for most.

Straps in rewards could be doing with being looked at. Some of them were for characters that didn't exist.

Would like to see the character being a grind at some point. Some people could pick the character up by opening 1 bag and others maxing being miles away from the shards.

    Overall decent event.

Enjoyable event - my faction maxed the faction contest out quickly so maybe more milestones next time - make us really work for it and have equivalent rewards - maybe a 1 star version of the chase character would really drive the team participation.

I'd also like to see extra levels in the event tours - 48 total matches is fun but can be over pretty quick. Extra matches or another tour level, please!

  • I like this character and think his move sets work well. The only criticism I have is I think on the yellow damage self and opponent move should damage mankind less than opponent. Other than that I like this character a lot.

I have enjoyed the Zombie event so far. The Mankind boiler room character hasn't been the most impressive as much as I wanted him to be. I know there is a big push on more tokens for people to upgrade but as a still relatively new player TP and Coins are so much more necessary to my current journey so it would have been cool to have the rewards be a little higher for the coins and have some TP. But it's been a good tour and good event. Achievable with minimal spending. Good on ya

  • Overall it was a nice change from the latest SD formats, virtually non-maxable without significant spending.

    SOLO EVENT: 8.5/10

Tours: Decently scaled, requirements were ok, the bonus superstars were also sensible, as many people worked up zCharlotte for feud/other tours. Rewards felt somewhat subpar.

SD tournament: Nice surprise. Match making was good. Superstar bonuses were fine, but what made the day was the "any 2020 zombie" unlimited scoring bonus.

Wrap-up: Splitting the loot coin (spend) and SD match (grind) and giving alternate scoring methods is a step in the right direction. The event was maxable with reasonable effort which was great. The milestone rewards felt subpar, especially the "rare bonus" straps which all turned to be useless (molotov cocktail putting RNG on ALL possible variable requirements). Also, having a fixed amount of shards or pulling the poster from bags is a kneejerk move. In my opinion it would be nice to at least give some bracket for the shard pull (e.g. 100-200 shards OR 3sb poster). Getting all possible bags and ending with less than half of the poster isn't really motivating people to spend trying to get the missing shards. On the contrary, and as the Sheamus, Rhea or zEdge events have shown people are far more willing to drop a few bucks if they are 200-300 shards away and not 1050 from recruiting.

    FACTION EVENT: 6/10

Not much to say really. The event was rather easy to max, but even more so than the solo event the rewards felt lacking.

The scoring methods for faction events (both feud and SD) in general lately are quite confusing, and the scaling seems all over the place. Either noone can max them, or they can be maxed before the solo grind starts which takes away fun off the challenge. Maybe a middle ground solution would be worth considering (some faction event pts in tours, some in TU, and majority in a sort of grind like SD coins or warscore).

    Please keep this format!!!!

    Tours we're playable

Showdown was great even if you didn't have "rare" characters like zBlack you could still grind and get all the milestone. It's a personal satisfaction to achieve something

    Hi,

After spending almost 1000£ I get only 1k shards of Mankind. That is a little unfairly to not get him. The character is amazing and really playable. I think that was the best showdown event in my 2 years history of game. I hope that comment will help you in the future to do similar events. Maybe little compensation (2brown star Mankind)😉. Thank you.

I like the event but everyone of them it seems the same people are always getting the top prize. It seems to me like a lot of others I never have the right guys to even explore the thought of getting enough shards to even unlock the character. Even when I’ve spent some money I get the same old characters shards I got at the beginning it’s very frustrating maybe use the newer characters to help people out. Also what’s up with the silver hangers we get for repeat outfits are we ever going to get to use them.

    Milestones

    • Big positives this time around as Solo and Faction were easily attainable. Nothing was paywalled.

    Rewards

    • Great to see more number of emerald tokens given out.
    • Being able to max event and gain all the rewards without the enforced paywall restriction is always welcomed.

    Loot

    • Generally I have no comments on Loot Pulls as I don't spend on them. I say this on most of my post because I've given up on loot pulls. I know what the odds are well enough not to be disappointed. I'd rather spend for a guaranteed character or wait for someone free from web portal rubies as I've managed to get some good characters from there.
    • However, seperating loots out as it's own event is an added welcome for those who do want to spend to get additional resources.

    Difficulty

    • To complete tours and both event milestones were easily attainable this time around. Great to be given the option to max if players are willing to grind it out.
    • Good selection of required characters to use and none that were strictly paywall characters.

    Superstars

    • zMankind trial was amazing and I loved the card overall even though I only played with one moveset. Would have loved to be able to get him.
    • Ended the event with half of his shards (1050 out of 2000). I'm hoping I can get him eventually.

    Overall Event

    • Rate this a 9 out of 10.
    • I hope you continue to allow SD events to be maxable if people are willing to grind it out.

    May I suggest?

    • A way to allow us to get the straps we'd like or atleast give out class specific belts and not tied to an era and or men/women.
    • This event had so many options to try and get useful straps yet 80% of the straps received isn't even favourable for who I need them for.
    • I really hate seeing Women Legendary Straps considering there's only 1 Showboat Legendary Women so unless you're planning to release any more women from this era, please can we do away with this format until then.

  • the sd event itself is really good since you don´t pushed to spend on refresh since a few sd events.

it´s acceptable that it´s not f2p but seperate the events giving big spenders who have am advantage already is dissapointing cause the really good rewards are not reachable for those who doesn´t spend or spend a little amount of cash.

Overall the event is definitely better than before but you can work on that.

Hello. First I would like to say what I enjoyed about this event. I really enjoyed that you split it into 2 event. The loot pulls and the SD grind. I got one am not against a grind event. I think you guys can take it one step further. I know you don’t like to put enough bags into an event to guarantee poster. But if you out more milestones and made some of themdouble what we did this weekend and included more bags to at least get closer if not all the way to the card.

of people really really really want a card they can’t say you didn’t give them a chance of grinding. It may just take them a ton of playing.

but either way I enjoyed this weekend even thought I did not get mankind in a bag.

I had a lot of fun this weekend doing the showdown event for zmankind ,I unfortunately didn’t pull him from the bags but I’m sure there will be better days.. either way great job guys keep up the great work 👍🏻

Well, there was two individual events, One of them that we could win the Last items AND the other We have to spend Money. I like that all events We could Advance without spend a Lot of Money. Another ítem ir Is that Is hard to get the superstar of the event. In allí the events I participante only once i get Him with the bags AND another buying some shards in the offers.

  • Very enjoyable when it comes to the contest, the only issue is that there need to be more opportunities for us to get the superstars as they always require a big amount of a shards but the milestones give a poor amount and so it would be beneficial instead of having us pay more

    Bear Here -

Wanted to share some feedback on this Mankind event. I am usually quite critical and sarcastic and its very well deserved so I will continue this trend.

Unlike prior posts, I will not be doing this team the courtesy of breaking things into good and bad.

    1. First and foremost, I appreciate you have incorporated the grind aspect BACK into contests. It is evident my feedback is hitting home so I am going to keep my foot on the gas pedal. That’s the 2nd time this month and as a result my discord has not stopped getting DMs filled with gratitude or free nitro boosts. Suggested change: Add this to every event. Every single one. Never hold another event without having a f2p grind. EVER.
    2. This character is beloved and it was nice to have him as a trial character to get a test run. I guess technically people could not complain they were not able to pull them because we all got to in the trial.
      1. Fixed shards. I am still torn on this one because I ended up with a solid 900 shards which is not even 50% to recruit the character. BUT it seemed like the odds were tuned up to pull from the bag. With a character like this, I am sure most would prefer improved bag chances, but that’s debatable. At a minimum, with the backstage pass, I do strongly believe that you should be able to get at least half of the shards. Suggested… guarantee at least 50% of the shards can be obtained by doing your homework and showing up to class with your books.
      2. I think the blog was wrong on the trial and it originally has like 14 shards. I am glad that was fixed. That was terrible. Even 100 is a bit of slap in the face, but free is free I supposed.
    3. Breakdown between solo f2p and solo pay2play was an interesting change. I think players felt some accomplishment in know they could max something, but I do question, is this just a slick marketing tactic? Feels that way, but hey, the participation trophy approach seems to have gotten positive feedback.
      1. 300 pts per loot coin is downright offensive. Over $700 USD to max this thing just to get gear and no guarantee for the character? Cmon… I know the holidays are coming, but expecting roughly $2800 USD per month from the player base with absolutely NO GUARANTEE to get the card is obnoxious. Suggestion: Call your friends at MSF and understand the model they have deployed which eventually lets you pay for the character without mortgaging your house. It is just dissuading the player base to spend. Obviously the boards disagree, but I think you would be shocked on the ROI if you guaranteed the card at the end of the rainbow. Suggestion: Cap spending at $xxx USD to ensure you get the card.
    4. Faction event was nice and easy.
    5. Requirements for SD were nice.
    6. Performance was solid through the weekend.
    7. Tours were scaled well and the requirements were not too difficult to manage.
    8. The zombie talent up was sensational. All TUP options going forward should be more generic like this.

Overall the event was well received from the community with the exception of point 3a mentioned above.

Speaking on line item 3a, it reminds of an old story @Lukeario23, @MattSabre and I were chatting about on the pitch recently. While working on bending it like Beckham, we spoke to when I used to charge @Papa_G78 £5 for a soda pop. He always urged that my greed of charging him an extra £3 per pop would come back to haunt. Today he no longer speaks with me. Years and years of gouging him for overpriced pop has come back to haunt me forever and now I am left with no friends.

This is the best showdown event I ever had. I was able to claim all milestones successfully by grinding the with any character zombie 2020.

Tours were good, CSS bonuses were attainable to me and for most players.

Faction contest was good but It could have been better with final milestone rewards with a specific belt instead of variable.

Zombie Mankind Bronze/Silver/Gold Bag's had less shards, I was expecting more shards in all the bags like in bronze bag there is only 20 shards if you raise the minimum limit then it would be great like 50/100.

In solo all milestones had variable for belts instead you would have given an guaranteed belt with good bonus atleast in final milestone.

Overall a good event with achievable all milestones.

In showdown I faced a lot of red ring issues. The issue is after match started got red ring and lost HP's of both of my players and match didnt started due to which I lost most of health packs and notoriety. I submitted a ticket and support team were helpful they immediately provided health packs and mentioned they are working on this issue.

I am not sure how much it will help however I have noticed this issue happens only when you lost match with danger. If you use same character after healing him then you face red ring then I have to restart the game and heal him again and start the match then it's working. This is my observation.

The event showed an improvement with making the solo event more attainable to finish with the almost unlimited showdown matches for eligible zombies. That meant player base could finish without needing to have the new character or rare zombie aleister.

The faction event still could have been tweaked a bit more as 1% of points for a faction of 100 was 30k points and there was no way to reach that without spending real cash on offers/pulls or spending about 2000 health packs on top of the free points from the portal and points from the tours with bonus.

Tours were achievable with bonus characters as well.

Overall a very solid event with only a few standout issues.

+Having a seperate solo and loot coin contest was great. This was one of the few events we have had outside of warscore comp where someone could grind out a leadboard reward if they wanted to. Yes you would need to have a few required guys and some other things but it was at least a possibility since spending had minimal effect on the solo even itself.

+The loot coin event itself had what seemed to be a significantly higher return compared to what would normally be in the solo milestones. Mostly due to the inclusion of the zbryan gear. I would like to see rare gears included in milestones for similar type events in the future.

+The bonus characters were fairly decent across the board. One rare and one more common character was a fairly fair way to do this.

+Though I think the faction contest got messed up by mistake due to having to high of a claim value in the backstage pass store it was still overall a very rewarding event in that regard.

+The bags appeared to be rewarding out mankinds at a very solid clip and this was also appreciated. Seemed like a good rate given that the shard amounts came out pretty low but a decent chance at the chase balanced that out nicely.

-The amount of shards available, even with spending, did feel on the very low end. An ideal amount if you can get and max the available events really should be in the 1400-1600 range. Enough to put you in a spot that lucky loot pulls or future offers will get you over the last hump. This will actively encourage purchases of shard offers to complete characters in the future.

-Having Straps available that were literally impossible to use and will continue to be impossible to use. I understand the randomness of straps but the manner in which the Z stable straps were handed out was particular off. It was very easy to get a strap for a class and year and gender that did not exist. I for example pulled am extra turn strap for a female tech zombie from 2017. Female wrestlers were literally not in the game during that contest so that strap is basically useless. I completely understand having random straps that exist for current era's and the like since they could in theory have someone use them in the future but for Z stable characters that are based on years of creation that is not something that is possible. Just in the future if these loots run please just adjust the possible outcomes to eliminate strap possibilities that do not and cannot ever exist in the future. The straps themselves are great but not being able to ever use them isn't useful for anyone.

Overall I greatly appreciated this event and would be okay with this kind of template going forward. Great event all around minus the strap issue.

Keep up the great new character concepts!

  • Alot of fun! would have like more Zombie character options for the bonus!
