This time you did a great job:

I m not a f2p Player but i love to see that this Event can be fi ished by everyone with Jeff Hardy Zombie fights.

The limited time tours were decent not really great and much reward to fight for but helps a little bit.

The droprate are bad as always but that isnt new.

The Showdown matchmaking for now is really great you dont need any 5sg Champs to get over 1000Points to get the maximum showdowncoins at sunday really really appreciate that.

The Shards we got arent worth to speak about.

Round about it was a good Event and by the way no event was too bad this month.

    Good job Scopely

Ok event overall. As always I really do not like the pay to win aspects. A lot of grind for not a lot of reward

It was a good event ,playable for all and hope to see this kind of events in future.

I liked how people where able to max the event and you made the spending aspect a different event that. Wish the bags we're a little more generous but can't win them all.

Ok so my thoughts on the Mankind event

overall, really good achievable event. This meant it felt like a bit of fun, and because the milestones were attainable there was a point to the grind.

it made me want to pick up my phone and play as I could get the top prizes.

I didn’t get Mankind, barely got 1000 shards but that’s part and parcel of the game.

there was a good amount of variety to the tasks which meant you could take short cuts to the top milestone if you’d rather pay than play but it didn’t penalise those that wanted to grind SD matches.

more milestones with more rewards would be good next time, even if it becomes a case of in order to max you have to hit hundreds of matches as long as it is a realistic target that free to play players have a good chance of hitting rather than making it 100% pay to max. By all means give people a bonus of paying or having it as a short cut but not always prioritising profits.

I think the event was a step in the right direction to level the playing field, the community as a whole worked together too which was great

  • The good:

    - The faction event. I'm not sure if this was your way of giving back after the last couple of faction event issues, just a mistake, or if our faction simply bought enough backstage passes and/or offers, but whatever caused this to max so quick, not having to worry about it was cool. If it was an intentional make up for the past couple of weekend faction events, thank you.

    - Adding an unlimited grind aspect was nice. Bring back the good rewards instead of splitting them off into another event and you'd be on to something extremely cool.

    The bad:

    - $700 to max. Zombie Bryan's gear is good and the skill plate is good, but neither are worth $350 each. So again, the real world prices put on items is still way out of whack. Based on the leaderboards with less than 8 hours left, it appears a lot of people feel the same. Anyway, that price point made it very easy for me to not spend, and zombie month is traditionally my most expensive month each year in this game.

    - Fixed shards without enough to recruit the character. We've been over this.

    - Loot drop rates were bad again, along with "featured" items that have no place in "featured".

    A random thing:

    - I have no doubt you'll get a ton of praise for splitting the spend milestones out from the solo contest. People will see they "maxed" (*cough* *cough*) and be happy, even though it's no different than reaching "X" milestone out of "x" and missing out on the big rewards that only come with crazy spending lately. But there are some of us that know it was $700 to max, regardless of what the scoreboard shows (or in this case, what 2 scoreboards show). For anyone to still doesn't get it, imagine the normal milestones top to bottom. All they did was split off the top few milestones and stuck the two lists side by side. Nothing really changed, other than when you/we reached as far as we could go without spending, it says "maxed" instead of "14/17" or whatever. Cool magic trick though, huh?

    Synopsis:

It is becoming pretty clear that no matter what we say, the end result is going to be the same, just in a new configuration. Seems like a lot of wasted time for both sides. I get that Scopley is only in this to make money, like any other business. You don't do this for charity or to serve us everything on a silver platter for free. I get it. The issue is the price points are simply too high. You're not the first company to overprice stuff, that in fact has run a lot of companies out of business. And you won't be the last to overprice stuff, it's the nature of the beast when making a product, selling it, and trying to max profits. However, hopefully your metrics show pretty soon that the cost/price overreach is hurting more than helping and we can get back to reasonably priced events again.

If by some chance I win the contest, please give it to @Ajmad. AJ's building a trickster army and Mankind would fit right in. Thanks.

Much better event one for the grinders and one for the spenders kind of how it should be. Pretty happy with the event even though I only got 1k shards for mankind

  • Donjay56
    Donjay56 Member ✭✭✭

There’s always resources on the prize wall now, and they just opened up two more tours with resources. If anything, they’ve gotten better about resources for no cost.

I thought that this event was a step in the right direction. I personally have no problem with there being a spend component independent of the actual event, and the main event was able to be maxed with no spending. I don’t have an issue with not getting all of the shards, knowing that I didn’t spend.

as far as the faction event, whether it was intentional or not, it was great to max.

No issues with the tours. We’ve known all month that zCharlotte was needed so if people at this point still hadn’t leveled her up, that’s on them.

    Another contest in the books.

    The good.

You broke down free to play pay to play into 2 events.

    The event was taxable free

    Most were pretty open.

    The bad

Giving Jeff was a nice touch however it missed the mark. What would have been more effective is give the 2020 chase. Why? From a company side. You giving a superstar many do not have. People then rush evolving leveling and may need coin or talent posters. Most had Jeff so this did not make many rush to level him up.

So a year later give the year b4 chase free as this will lead to mad scrambles to get them up and running.

The other negative was more or less number of matches needed. Number is fine if we can use a turn 1 or 2 winner. In my case Jeff my only 2020. It often took the turns to get a pin no matter rarity was facing.

I made this suggestion in discussion but will repeat. I think the game will be stronger by reducing MLC superstars from 6 to 4. The other 2 spots have gear of superstars of old like 3 versions example tech Lita. First gear 100% move damage. Gear 2 the milestone grind gear all moves 200%. Gear 3 the paid gear or final milestone gear 300% and if gear 4 that be strictly pay pulls any 4 star Liya cones w her all new gear. This takes a version fab favorite and makes them competitive in current game meta. Loads of year 1 2 3 need a bit of attention. New gear easier to add in game and the dev team goes from 6 to 4 new per MLC but the paid events stay the same. Mlc be 1 free 1 chase a fued and showdown then 2 gear 1 in fued week 1 in ah ok wdown.

The other thing still needed. Higher ratio of female superstars. Female events. Do 1 male 1 female fued showdown per MLC. Women missing that am pretty sure have terms w WWE. Tirrie Kelly Kelly Maryse Nikki Ash. Liv Morgan all the nxt women. Michelle McCool Melina Kelly Kelly . Not as sure but Madusa aka Alundra Luna Victoria Christy Hemme Ivory Molly Holly Jaquelyne misspelled but legendary tough woman. Queen Sharmell Sable Eve Torres. A few more current Tamina Nandy Sonya Zelina. Wwme really need more women in game. The other thing. 1 Andre who legit god tier. The versions in game all are lackluster. He needs a turn 1 closer he after all is the embodiment of WWE.

If possible one last thing in the a audience be really cool if possible a fan would have a content creator logo shirt as long as the creator agree and likely most all would be honored to gave an audience member wearing their logo shirt. An easter egg a row of fans 1 each creator.

This was by far the best showdown event we've had this year. Well done Scopely, 9.5/10

    I liked:

Splitting the contest into 3 parts is a fantastic move.Great work in making the solo contest grindable. For too long we've had showdown stop at day 2 after 10 matches. Giving unlimited points gave an incentive to everyone to grind if they wanted to. Many more players maxed the solo event because of this, thank youRewards for solo contest, faction contest and tours were good, worth the effortTours were good. I especially liked that zCharlotte was needed for the Sunday tour. Everyone who put some work into her for the feud last week was able to make full use of her againShowdown matchmaking continues to work well

    I disliked:

Putting the zDaniel Bryan gear in the pull contest was annoying. Why have it in the midweek event and again in the weekend event. The legendary straps in the loot pull event for milestones 5 and 7 were terrible. What's the point of making a random strap for random zombie era AND class. Make it one or the other. I ended up with 3 straps that were completely unusable from it. Not cool.

Overall a very good event, keep it up.

Here's my feedback for the Mankind "It Came from the boiler room".

First of all just want to say before I get into my feedback that I think both concept and design Mankind was fantastic. He not only brings the spirit of a zombie but also Mankind so hats off for that.

So the event can basically get split up into 2 sections.

Number 1: I think it was fantastic that the showdown part was both fun and all milestones in the solo event were able to be achieved without super rare characters and had an element of grind to achieve with everyone being able to use the zombies from 2020. This is great moving forward I think overall the community got behind this and was very happy that everyone was able to achieve what they wanted given they put in some time and effort that's how things should be. However this brings me to the second section.

Number 2: The fact the game was split between a pay and solo event had both pros and cons.

The pros were that the solo event was achievable to be maxed by free to play players.

The cons of this was in the solo event milestones they were crappy rewards that weren't worth really grinding for. I literally only wanted the final milestone just for the 1 emerald token. Also another con was all the good rewards were solely in the pay event.

I think its pretty poor from the company's standard that not even within 3 days there were 2 back ti back spending events for zombie daniel bryan's gear, to simply fear monger people into buying it scared its the last time they will get a chance because he is now in AEW.

To counter act these problems I'm not saying the gear should be in the milestones for f2p players but please make the rewards a little better. Milestone 14 only had 2 mil coins that means nothing in the current end game. I think splitting the 2 events isn't a bad thing its nice to feel like there's an event for different people but just make sure the f2p players feel like they actually get something rewarding for finishing its not cool seeing all the good rewards strictly locked behind a a paywall.

Otherwise not bad of an event. A few things need to be tweaked slightly. But hopefully those subtle changed can be added slowly over time.

Splitting the spend and grind event was a great idea. I hope this continues going forward.

I love the trial characters too. This gives the players a chance to play and see if the new character fits their play style.

I hope we see this event setup continue. 2 thumbs up on this event.

much better there was the option for both payers and players

  • It was fun (sort of), but its gets difficult to reach the 1k plus score in the first phase of the SD Contest. Every time I was reaching the score, the game pulled me back in the low 900 mark. When I verified the Log context, I didn’t have any losing match that may have justified that lower score. The new Mankind trial mode was also fun.

  • Overall I enjoyed this showdown contest significantly more than the past few, the big factor was the ability to grind out the remaining points needed to max it, that singlehandedly is the most important change made in recent contests.

This was as close as it gets to a perfect event for me personally.

    Well done Scopely, 9.5/10

    Pros:

    • Separating the grind and pulls event was a good move.
    • Solo was easily grindable.we actually had a reason to play more than 10 matches on day 2.Many more maxed solo event thanks to unlimited points.
    • Good rewards for the solo and faction events.worth the effort
    • Tours requirements were player base friendly and were scaled well
    • Showdown matchmaking continues to work well
    • Cons:
    • Not a lot to complain about this event although i could spenders not being happy about the restricted straps in spend events.

Overall a very good event, keep it up

    My thought-

Solo showdown contest- Excellent contest, first time every one can obtain all milestones specially one who don't spends and dedicated to give more time to this game. Rewards were good, need to add more tp and more tokens to make 5SG Superstars.

Contest superstar- Choices were spot on. Thanks for giving limitless matches for superstar also with good contest points.

Tours- Tours were good, 2 for solo and 1 for faction competition which is a good implementation.

Faction contest- Achievable faction contest unlike past one. Rewards must be increase. Also more mlc points must be added to all contest.

Superstar trial- Good Superstar but trial tour rewards were disappointing. Please increase rewards to enjoy trial superstar tours.

Overall, Great events for everyone. Easy for player who spend and achievable for player who can't spend.

I thought this event was much more fair that previous events. Realistically able to max with some effort.

My only suggestion on the scoring system on the solo would be possibly scale up the talent points as one Zombies 2020 win = 2000 talent points which seems a little off.

Overall a good and fair event.

The event overall was fun and provided some good resources

Seemed pretty open to all levels of players to achieve high milestones in the event.

Personal gripe though. I haven't got the superstar poster out on of the event grab bags for over 4 years now. I see my faction mates and plenty of others getting it week after week so I have to say I'm more than a bit unhappy with my continued bad luck.

  • This event is best, zombie mankind is best rost of this current roster.i waiting for zombie mankind eagerly,

Zombie mankind moves are so best.. thankyou scoply

The solo showdown event was a huge upgrade from the recent previous showdown events. The concept that you could simply play the game with generally available required characters that you may or may not have previously leveled to a competitive level AND receive points for leveling them if you need to was great. It was also nice to have multiple options with the CSS to decide what was your best path to maxing the event. The fact that you could spend all your time using last year's zombies or choose other CSS characters that you may have stronger to get you a little closer to the milestones before switching to the unlimited CSS was a nice touch. It is nice to see those who are willing to put in the time and have great rosters that allow them to win quickly and often have a chance to guarantee themselves that cards on the leaderboard gives hope to others that may want to try in the future. The prizes from the general solo event weren't amazing but the accomplishment many felt from just being able to max the event wasn't diminished that much for the rewards.

It is also nice that there was an event that rewarded those that wanted to make purchases in hopes of getting the card that way. The rewards in the spending event were better but it is understandable that it would be that way.

If the faction event worked as intended, it was also great that it was maxable if several people in the faction took advantage of the deals within the game earlier in the week. If the event didn't go as intended, I'm not in a place where I can fairly judge that portion of the contest.

The tours were great and the CSS made sense. At times, it is hard to distinguish which type of points are being rewarded when playing the tours without having to read the description. It would be nice if there were a better consistent indicators of which rewards are faction points and which rewards are solo points. I would prefer the tours be released on day 1 instead of released one a day but that isn't a huge complaint as I can make time for them at the end if I'm too consumed with the showdown portion.

Overall, I enjoyed the events this weekend and feel that it may have in part been from some of the feedback given in recent weeks.

    Tours - Thumbs up

The tours were not over the top and did well by both FTP and paid players.

    Showdown event

One of the better events where it was not paywalled. If you grind you get to the milestone. This is something that I've been asking for and I am happy that it is finally here. Way to go and thank you.

The prizes in the solo contest were great. Would have loved to have gotten mankind from the bags. Hopefully I am chosen here :)

    Faction event

The last couple of faction events were unattainable. This was properly structured so that factions could max it.

Overall the event was a win in my eyes. The match making in showdown was fairly balanced as I came across some heavy hitters I’d rather not face an then some guys who were more my level.

Milestones I wish the final milestone had more of a bang for the grinding effort. Not even a chance to get mankind on the final milestone ??? Strange.

Id say the game should stick with having one way to score that is unlimited for these events as it give everyone a fair chance

Thank you for giving us an event that we can grind to max, really enjoyed that aspect.

Pros - Very straightforward grind to max, tours were better with rewards

Cons - Could have used a few more crates
