'Overall it was a nice change from the latest SD formats, virtually non-maxable without significant spending.
SOLO EVENT: 8.5/10
Tours: Decently scaled, requirements were ok, the bonus superstars were also sensible, as many people worked up zCharlotte for feud/other tours. Rewards felt somewhat subpar.
SD tournament: Nice surprise. Match making was good. Superstar bonuses were fine, but what made the day was the "any 2020 zombie" unlimited scoring bonus.
Wrap-up: Splitting the loot coin (spend) and SD match (grind) and giving alternate scoring methods is a step in the right direction. The event was maxable with reasonable effort which was great. The milestone rewards felt subpar, especially the "rare bonus" straps which all turned to be useless (molotov cocktail putting RNG on ALL possible variable requirements). Also, having a fixed amount of shards or pulling the poster from bags is a kneejerk move. In my opinion it would be nice to at least give some bracket for the shard pull (e.g. 100-200 shards OR 3sb poster). Getting all possible bags and ending with less than half of the poster isn't really motivating people to spend trying to get the missing shards. On the contrary, and as the Sheamus, Rhea or zEdge events have shown people are far more willing to drop a few bucks if they are 200-300 shards away and not 1050 from recruiting.
FACTION EVENT: 6/10
Not much to say really. The event was rather easy to max, but even more so than the solo event the rewards felt lacking.
The scoring methods for faction events (both feud and SD) in general lately are quite confusing, and the scaling seems all over the place. Either noone can max them, or they can be maxed before the solo grind starts which takes away fun off the challenge. Maybe a middle ground solution would be worth considering (some faction event pts in tours, some in TU, and majority in a sort of grind like SD coins or warscore)."

I for one am enjoying the recent contests. It's definitely a good event month and I'm really participating more than I thought I would.

...So far, so good. Been playing for the past few years and went all in and ended up winning Zombie Black coming in 10th place and ever since then, he's been my go to guy & 1st 5SG. I look forward to the Oct and Spring Zombie event every year now!
So, this month's events have been great... but again, the downside is, you have to be able to spend to Max the events. That should NEVER be the case. If there was a way to maybe split it into 2 different events (which I think that's what you're doing this weekend) that would be a plus. But to only receive Zombie Bryan's gear, by spending $400 ontop of the grind... is just too much. Obviously this is a company, which needs to make money, but never forget why you're here, for us! And I for one, have had some ups and downs, but overall, have been extremely happy with the product you put out. It just pains me when Spending is what it takes to Max. I know I'm not alone.
The events have been fun, challenging, the use of different superstars/cards for the bonuses has been a delight as well, showcasing what each one can really do (even with bonus perks), it's still fun! Might find someone you enjoy playing with that you never thought you'd care about.
I do have to give props also for the recent FTP cards, they have been great, not so much Drew as much, but the detail, down to the card art looks great. One thing about the new Zombie Mankind though, his straitjacket/shirt... doesn't look that great, looks "painted on" . If you guys could update that to have the chains and straps appear to be hanging somehow, I feel it's be more realistic (ironic, I know).
Also small little details, with some of the cards now matching, with Zombie Paige being PG, but her card is Modern and I believe Luger being New Gen, but has the legends logo. Showboat HBK has the wrong letters on his gloves, "TT" when it should be "TK" . Just small things like that, can go a long way to show you care about the details.
I do have some ideas to make the game even better which I've bounced the ideas off hundreds of players and they agree. 1, for the FTP character... if after collecting the Evo tokens for the month and you can use them to upgrade, why not turn them into shards to help after the month is over atleast, so they don't go to waste. 2, if there could be a trading system, such as Pokemon Go, but a bit more complex, where the cards would have to be somewhat equal in Grade. It would help out those looking for that special player, but never able to pull them, or someone who loves a certain wrestler and just wants their card no matter what. But it would also stop players from trading the likes of a Shane McMahon for a Bobby Lashley, as long as a bar was set in place. Finally, 3rd, a cool way to customize your card by being able to alter their gear color. It may not seem like a lot, but just being able to change the color and then face others in Feud/SD, you'll be able to see others players customization and the creativity the Community has. I made up some mock photos and everyone really loved them and wish that could be introduced into the game. (Put some photos below to show)
But again, you guys do an amazing job overall, no one is perfect, hopefully this doesn't come off to harsh, all just constructive criticism. I'll be a player 4life either way!

This app overall lacks the resources needed for progressing.
As an example 4SG & 5SS tokens, coin and TP amounts, and in game currency. The assigned price points suck.
The in App Store is almost always lacking the stuff needed, also I am tired of trying to be force fed to make purchases through this stupid portal.
Nobody is realistically going to continue on a regular basis to throw away money on this kind of nonsense.

Game is good but some of the things need updated at times. I appreciate you change the loot to minimum 3*. But for paid pulls shards as low as 5 or 10. Please bring something new, faction feud and showdown is going from very long need something new as weekly contests.

This is definitely a positive step in the right direction. Splitting the spend and grind aspect was a masterstroke. Yes the better rewards are in the spend event but that’s fully excepted. Being able to grab some decent rewards via grinding is fantastic. This event appeals to both spenders and the free to play as there are rewards to suit all parties.
the tours so far have been scaled well and that’s been a common theme that stood out each weekend. Nothing needs changing with them.
players feel a sense of accomplishment when they can max an event which makes them more eager to play and potentially spend. A deflated player base are less likely to spend than a happy one.
the faction event was par for the course. Extremely easy to max as the backstage pass gave a mass of points. The rewards reflected the ease of the event.
nothing much to really grumble about for this one. It’s a vast improvement from the previous showdown event we’ve had. Zombie mankind is also a very good character so congrats to all those who get him.

This contest is quite good but here one bad thing was spending money into this you have to make the easy contest for those people who have no money to spend into this please make this thing better thnx

Imo this was close to perfect. This event was doable to max for everyone without spending and those who want to spend have extra rewards and milestones in the loot coin event. The free 2020 zombie helped for those who didn’t have one before . The tours were ok on normal and hard and for those who pushed the contest champs doable on hell aswell. This is the way to go imo, soloevents doable with grinding and extra rewards in a separate event for cashers.

SOLO EVENT: this was ok, grindable, maybe a little more coins, TPs and tokens next time, not asking for huge amounts, but a little more
LOOT COIN EVENT: I believe that by reviewing and rescaling milestones values, you can encourage also other players in doing what you want them to do
FACTION EVENT: the sad part in terms of rewards, as usual, but at least almost everyone is able to provide the right contribution this way.
CONTEST SUPERSTARS: balanced choices.
PLAYABILITY: this time almost no accident occurred...except during the tour...but let's give it an "OK -". Props for maintaining the usual matchmaking system.

I generally enjoyed the format of the event but the straps given out in milestone rewards of the loot event were ridiculously restricted.
Every strap I got is for a character that can never exist. 2018, zombie, male, Showboat. 2020, zombie, female, trickster. Worthless. If they didn't have the year, you could at least tell yourself that they could come later but as is, they're just strap parts. And a pretty trivial number of strap parts to boot.
Left a pretty bad taste in my mouth.

This event was almost perfect! 9/10
Faction Contest - Maxable as long as everyone made their efforts to play the event and contribute! Decent milestones but most important was the maxable without spending (or very little spending)
Solo Contest - I really enjoyed the splitting the grindable portion and the pay contest, having them separate made things very simple for the average player! Thank you! The milestones in the loot coin (pay) contest, I thought the lower milestones could have been a little more enticing for spending. I don't know what the average budget people have for this game, but should cater to the average / majority. (Of course then you would have the WOW loot for the top milestones)
Playability - Overall good, consistent with the last couple months! I remember when we had so much connection issues and freezes in the past... It's come a long way. Thank you!

Well, isn't this interesting enough. Interesting enough that I feel like I have some feedback, at least.
- I have to say I do like the idea of splitting up the spend and showdown portions of the content - I never liked the contests being laid out in such a way where the blog goes 'Hey this is what you can get' and then proceed to hold most of that away from you (something that was addressed last week with Rhea Ripley's contest, but I'm only mentioning now and this way of doing it is better imo) but isolating the pulls for the most part just makes it so much more clear. The rewards may feel a bit lacking without that big marquee final point, but it's not like we were lacking for rewards this weekend, it's just that the end goal skill plate/gear/whatever was moved over.
- Showdown continues to behave as it should, requirements weren't too ridiculous and for those who missed anyone grinding with 2020 zombies was an option. HoF felt really out of place compared to everyone else, though.
- Also liked tours going the same way of the MLC tours of common/rare bonus picks Not sure if bonus points were really needed in the tours, though - seemed easier to just grind those in showdown.
- If you could put the strap rewards in cases like you do with the portal rewards, that would be rad - I feel like I'm constantly making room for when a contest throws a half-dozen straps at me at once., and the option to bank those straps in cases until I'm ready for them would be a nice tiny QoL change.

This was by far the best showdown event we've had this year. Well done Scopely, 9.5/10
I liked:
- Splitting the contest into 3 parts is a fantastic move.
- Great work in making the solo contest grindable. For too long we've had showdown stop at day 2 after 10 matches. Giving unlimited points gave an incentive to everyone to grind if they wanted to. Many more players maxed the solo event because of this, thank you
- Rewards for solo contest, faction contest and tours were good, worth the effort
- Tours were good. I especially liked that zCharlotte was needed for the Sunday tour. Everyone who put some work into her for the feud last week was able to make full use of her again
- Showdown matchmaking continues to work well
I disliked:
- Putting the zDaniel Bryan gear in the pull contest was annoying. Why have it in the midweek event and again in the weekend event.
- The legendary straps in the loot pull event for milestones 5 and 7 were terrible. What's the point of making a random strap for random zombie era AND class. Make it one or the other. I ended up with 3 straps that were completely unusable from it. Not cool.
Overall a very good event, keep it up, and make sure that @TheBear41 and @Mherex get the card. They seem to be the only ones that didn't get him.
One year, we walked into the store and the clerk wasn't there. He was always there, so this was unusual. Who was going to count my pennies? It turned out that he'd been involved in an altercation with the town vicar. The two of them were known to enjoy a drink. They spent plenty of time together out in the quarry pond pretending to fish. Everyone knew there hadn't been any fish in the pond for years. On this particular trip, something sinister had clearly taken place.

Excellent Event! Not to much, not to little. Spent the right amount of money without breaking the budget and the grind was the right amount of grinding with reguards to having time to spend with family and friends. Good job!

Splitting the competition into 3 parts is a great move.Commendable work in making singles competition interesting. For too long we have stopped the showdown on the second day after 10 matches. Giving unlimited points encouraged everyone to grind at will. Because of this many more players made the most of the singles event, thank you. The prizes for the solo competition, group competition and tours were good, well worth the effort. The tour was good. I especially liked the Sunday tour zCharlotte needed. Everyone who put some work into it for last week's feud was able to make full use of it again. Showdown matchmaking continues to work well

Having an infinite points option to the showdown contest was a great idea and it allowed me to finally be able to maximize the solo contest, I think that method of achieving points should stay

these events whether you are a veteran, 1st day? spender or free to play are great for the game and overall community.
players had the chance at extra rewards if they spent and didnt totally block out those who didnt.
The main focus being showdown, was not hampered by paywall characters, the tours contained the mlc character and characters featured in the briefcases.
the loot was diluted ie there were many tiers, could be less without the common wrestlers we see in the briefcases every month.
Keep this trend going. it also didnt need a player to spend their Whole Weekend maxing- the points given per win were not terribly low as previous.

The event is very good but need to update some glitches.
I'm enjoying this game much and loved it. Keep it up scoply ur doing very good job!!

Great event overall. Backstage pass is a nice option for those that want a boost to their progress and the price point isn't too bad. Would like.more 4SG tokens as prizes as it seems difficult to get ahold of those but more rare tokens are more readily available

It was good event because you allowed people to grind to hit the top milestone . Letting people who can’t afford to buy pack the chance to play for the top milestone was great and should be incorporated into all events.

I really enjoyed the fact that u made the showdown event achieveble to max without spending, faction event was also not bad, but u could add some other bonus score methods to contribute more and help the faction without spending, of course i understand that your company wants to earn money, but lets just see, 400 dollars for the gear of ZDB is way too much, u guys r forgetting the fact that 400 dollars in USA is not the same as for example in Russia or some other country, the same thing about the pulls, u could make the prices according to the national currencys, that will make the things for everyone more equal and more people will actually have the wish to spend some money, so thanks for the content, hope u really read it and this helps

Overall a pretty decent event surprisingly. The tours were manageable, the split between a grind and a pay event made it feasible for non payers to complete a weekend for a change after nearly a year. A lot of positives from this event. So, naturally, I don't see them doing this format again in a while

First of all I really liked the fact that the spend element was solo of the rest of the showdown event therefore I finally could max it since long. It’s only sad that after I maxed it I’m still 1000 shards short of unlocking him and the people who unlocked him get him multiple times. I just wish this was more spread. But overall it was I nice event that people could max if they took a little bit time.

I also have been enjoying these events

There's only two issues that I had during that event: the requirements where very heavy far as f2p goes, and the amount of shards are being more and more scarce, in overall was an good event, the woman zombie was a little too harsh because not everyone have zRhea or an upgraded zCharlotte, way too specific but understanable, I experienced little to no bugs during the playtrough , very solid event.

The tour was difficult but entertaining. in the end that is what one looks for when playing the character is very well designed. I wait for the other test character congratulations for being someone who does not invest real money, it is difficult to get the new player but several times you have surprised me

I loved this contest probably the best contest an the most exciting would love to win the zombie mankind but other than that the contest has been amazing I always look forward to the zombie contest

Loved it. The levelling and points allocation were good, the bonus characters were just the right level of rarity, and there was an opportunity to grind to max out without spending. The fact that everyone was given a 2020 zombie free also meant that this option was open to everyone, which was a great move. Very high marks from me.

Definitely going in right direction with this sd event this weekend. Was nice to max solo without spending. And if your a spender there was also a side solo event for that. Only issue i jave is think there should been more zmankind shards available.

The event itself was pretty good, good mix of characters to use but with option to use others.
Mankind was a great trail character, can see him being a real asset to anybodys roster, would love to have him in mine!
The main issue is the contests, you shouldn't be having to pay mad money to max it out, by all means have the purchases to aid your chances but you shouldn't be able to complete all the tasks and then still only be about halfway through as we would need to but multiple loot coins to make it up, it's not fair!
