EDGE “RATED Z” DEBUT + GIVEAWAY

  • Some of these SD contests are hits and some are a miss. The ones that are a miss always seem to be copies of previous SD contests that the community overall didn't care for unless you got lucky early in the contest by pulling the featured card. I know the idea isn't to hand everyone a new card each weekend with ease but why is it that after doing everything possible and maxing each SD day most of us are still needing 2 milestones? Having to pay for 2 milestones is such a kick in the teeth to the players. Scaling this differently with points from contest superstars and allowing us to max it without spending hundreds of dollars would go a long way. Add more bonus guys to the tours or SD event or make talent up worth more but please get away from paying to max the event and focus it more on playing the event.

  • In general, i love the game and most of the events r good, but personally i hate this rng system from bags, some people get the character from the first bag or pull him 2 or even 3 times per event, while the others play event after event and get nothing, i hate it, and also 4 points per talent in Sd is really not a good thing u made, it made sd event absolutely not achieveble to max, also if some people like me got noting from the bags, u could at least make zedge recruiteble at 3sg or at least 4 sb

Once again the milestones were impossible to get without spending a fortune. And the rewards were mediocre at best.

Maxed the showdown twice, levelled wrestlers and only made 13. That's a lot of grinding for not a lot of reward.

Event ran smooth enough. Was getting attacked a lot at one point loosing more notoriety than gaining.

    Overall an OK event.

Overall, the event was a 6/10.

Pros: The tours and matchmaking were at the appropriate levels of difficulty.

Cons: The points for rewards for solo event should be adjusted. As someone who completed all the requirements for the showdown, outside of the Edge requirement, completed all tour matches with required characters, and even paid for some pulls, the highest I could reach is Milestone 14.

As some have mentioned, having a 2 star version of the new character being available at a milestone as a worst case scenario if you aren’t lucky enough to get him from the RNG bags would be great for all players willing to grind.

However, the biggest concern in all events where you are introducing a new skill plate:

The skill plate should be a reward in a lower milestone on list. I’m not saying 5/15, but rather 12 or 13. That way, if you are not one of the lucky few who get the debut character, you still are incentivized to try to pull for the character eventually. If the skill plate is what makes the new character top level, that’s the key. If I don’t get the skill plate and end up with 1240/1600 shards (1235/1600 from pre event as well 🤔), I have no reason to try to pull for the character after the event as the odds of getting the skill plate are near impossible.

If you can’t get the plate on debut, who will want to always end up with a neutered version of a character?

First Edge Zombie has a good design and is a great character
The rewards were good, I think it can be improved but taking 1000 fragments of it I tell you that the event was accessible
The tours were relatively straightforward, I think taking a tour of where Drew zombie must be in more than 3 stars was a bad thing
The shodown was easy, the points were good, most of the characters we have in our templates either in their normal mode and not in zombies
In conclusion a good event that could improve, my score is 9.5

Overall I'd say the event was a huge fail and could have been way better especially for zombie month.

The Good - The tours were very reasonable with decent rewards

SD itself was pretty solid with good matchmaking no glitching or red ringing and the perfect amount of bonus matches.

    Edge Looks awesome

    The Bad (oh boy)

This is really getting a bit out of hand and ridiculous lately. Just spend and spend and spend moar... the weekend backstage pass really a slap in the face to those that just bought the backstage pass a few days earlier... thats just pure greed and needs to stop.

The same people who somehow get the weekend character every single week from bags or $20 pulls is getting a bit ridiculous... the RNG is obviously broke and really needs some work.

SD coins only counting for 10 points and TU only counting for 4 points? Really? So now to max solo event it costs 100k TU or $500..... not cool at all.... and of course the 15 million coins, emerald token, and contest points were all in the last 2 milestones which weren't obtainable without doing 1 or the other. The rewards need to be distributed better in the milestones and not just pay walled all the time.

There's really no incentive to play these events anymore. There is no grind factor anymore and if you don't get "lucky" with RNG you pretty much walk away with nothing for your time. Despite what others may think there's no point in ending a contest with 1100/1600 edge shards.... by the time you get the 500 needed he will probably be irrelevant

  • Trying to gain shards to level up was too difficult. Other than that, I thought it was a great event.

    Pros:

Liked that the showdown event matches in the solo contest allowed for not just the zombies but also their “normal” counterparts.

There was not an absurd number of matches required for each character.

    Cons:

The zombie Drew tour did not scale well for those who had not purchased at least a 3sb fuse up from the beginning.

Talent up for techs only giving 4 points is too few unless you are really close to a milestone.

Dislike getting turnbuckles as rewards, ending each month with 10,000+ extra universal turnbuckles.

Would also recommend giving a bump to the minimum number of shards ZEdge in the milestone bags. Give people a legit shot at pulling the character with shards.

The event was really good one but even after getting all bonus super star matches in sd nd all the sd coins with all solo points from tour I couldn't max in spite of having zombie edge.

So last milestone should be at least descent to be reach....

Either last milestone lower slightly or increase solo point from tour nd talent up.

  • Needed to pay big bucks to reach the last milestone even after maxing showdown both days

Event was kinda fun. Easy to compete in the tours. Showdown was a bit annoying as don't have any good zombies. So really was going for Edge. Bought a few packs but got nothing in the pulls. Sadly didn't get him either. But here's hoping for the future 🤞🏽

    I have enjoyed this,

The keys provided some great prizes however I don't think 5 shards is enough for when you have paid for coins etc.

Some of the time I was left with nothing to do as I didn't have specific characters needed to compete.

Overall though it's been great, some of the best prizes came from having a great faction.

    Thank you

This was the best balance so far. Not too grindy, good balance of roster options while maintaining a paywall that didn’t make it unreachable. I hate my technicians, but this one was great.

Ich finde das Spiel super die ganzen Belohnungen Spiele das Spiel schon 3 Jahre

  • Trying not to beat the dead horse here but it would be nice to see some action taken from repetitive comments event after event.

Why do we continue to see points locked behind the new character who needs to be bought with pulls or get lucky from RNG during the event? It's the same problem in Feuds where someone can skew leaderboards and take the rewards away form another player.

    Solo Contest-

Win with required superstars has gotten better with a mix of common and rarer characters (still dislike the debut card being required).

Earn a showdown coin is what it is at this point. Theres no real reward for going passed the minimum required notoriety at the last tier.

Talent up stunk, this is a prime example of the entire community agreeing and an easy fix for the next event that I'd love to see adjusted.

Spending a token for the first time is an interesting idea for getting a large number of players to spend a small amount of money, I don't hate this but why not tier it up. Spend 1 for 500k, spend 10 for 750k, etc...

At the same point that spending is ok these events also need to be grindable. Not every player is willing to spend money. What happened to just a no limits character to use to obtain solo points?

Solo overall wasn't horrible, but there was no need to play more than a couple hours.

    Faction Event-

1 point per HP and TU seems a little low but I guess if you scale it over 100 players....wait its still pretty low.

Collecting shards of the debut character is OK I guess. You could obtain through normal play and purchasing.

Is there any way to limit the faction points per player so that the first people to log in don't hit the limit and give other player no incentive to do anything?

    Tours-

Honestly good job here. I wouldn't mind some more emerald tokens, but overall these have gotten better over time. I did see some people have issues getting the contest points though so maybe iron out some of those cobwebs.

Overall I did not max the Solo event and didn't really care to spend a bunch of money to do so. The game did not hold my attention for more than a couple hours after maxing what I could do for free.

  • Hi there. We need more events for gamers. Not only for wallets... Support the effort and dedication we play Manu hours and is not enough... thanks

  • The event itself wasn't awful but I also feel like only 4 points per talent was very low. I also feel like the rewards were spread too thin. Yes the tip end is supposed to have the best stuff buy there should be a reasonable amount throughout

Overall, I would give this event a 7/10.

Thank you for putting out a weekend event that had zero hiccups out of the gate. The overall execution went very well. It seems that the kinks in the showdown tournament mechanics have been ironed out and matchmaking has improved greatly.

Showdown 10/10: Great mix of matchups, no issues with matchmaking or impossible opponents.

Solo 4/10: Improving the bags to a flat shard amount is a welcome change. However, it seems like the event designers have taken the worst of all the previous aspects of events. Once upon a time, you could endlessly grind for a guaranteed character. Now, you can't grind AND you aren't guaranteed a character.

I understand the fundamental change of removing the guarantee to increase rarity. But if there is no ultimate prize in the final milestone, why can't we grind the event out for extra rewards? Give extreme grinders and spenders a chance to compete on the leaderboard. It seems like these changes have only punished those who enjoy grinding out the events.

The most redeeming quality is the bonus characters, which were very friendly to the whole player base.

Faction 9/10: The tie-in between shards/faction makes way more sense than the stupid Talent Up faction event from the weekend before. Thank you for rewarding players for actually playing the weekend's event.

The only reason I don't give it a 10/10 is a more fundamental issue, which is the capped talent up during faction events. These types of talent races only punish the worldwide player base who aren't always able to get into the game right at the event launch. That only promotes some (completely needless) faction strife.

It would be much more beneficial if you could institute some sort of time gate, where the 250k talent up is broken into 50k chunks every 12 hours or something.

    Hello,

Overall i would say it was an ok event. Tours with good requirments/rewards, showdown was good because it didnt ask for a lot of whale superstars.

Best thing about this event, was the monthly points for solo event on drew tour, that was a good add for this event.

Bad thing, despite the good event its really hard to at least get to the last 2 milestone without spending money and, in my opinion, if a player get the superstar he should be able to end the event and this doesnt happen..

But like i said, overall, this was a good event.

    Keep the pace

EDGE “RATED Z” DEBUT contest Feedback:

Loot: Didn’t pull but overall heard it was bad, most pictures shared within faction or outside were from milestones bags or tour bags.  Overall n/a

Solo event: The main solo event was really bad. Completely relies on pulls and that is never good. Talent up only for technicians and very low points (4 pts per talent) was really bad.. Like the idea of having more than one CSS for solo points.  Solo overal 1/10

Faction event: It relies on a lot of the spending. Rewards were not worth the spend. Even mostly the top factions will max the event. Overall 1/10

Rewards: They are balanced now since not many tokens are required to evolve your SS.

Milestones: The milestones were really high for the amount to spend( pulls). As resources come they are balanced now since not many tokens are required to evolve your SS.

Overall Idea: There have been better events where you were able to spend on pull and invest resources to get the Superstar or better rewards provided. I don’t feel like relying on luck is part of the milestone when it comes to a weekend event. If you spend and invest you should get something more than resources.

Showdown event itself and the requirements for matches with contest superstars were both smooth and reasonable. Actually felt like there was a very good chance of pulling zEdge based on the results in my faction. No such luck personally, but it definitely felt worth the effort/props to make sure to collect as many bags from the tours as possible.

Faction event milestone/leaderboard rewards were fine but not at all exciting.

Only issue with the solo event was the low points for tech talent up. So low that it was basically pointless to even include it.

Another event, another paywall!!! A scam for the backstage pass!!! Buy it twice in one week. As for the event itself, not bad. The rewards were terrible unless you got past paywall!!

Pros: The tours were requirement friendly I'm glad the MLC freebie was used as one of the requirements and the SD event requirements was nice as well keep up with that

Cons: The point system still needs to b fixed it does get annoying when it says I hit a milestone and I go and look and I have not

    Edge Rated Z Showdown Event.

    Limited time Tours -

This was good I thought, having two come out early and one towards the end of the event was good structure I thought, bonus characters were solid (most people had them) and rewards were solid, some for solo/faction and normal rewards. Please keep this structure the same

    Showdown Event -

This was solid, standard to the last showdowns, good balance of who we can fight I have no complaints about this, I think this is fine, please don't change it.

With regards to the bonus characters for the showdown, much much better than the last couple of events as we didn't have to do 100's of matches it was still a good amount of matches and the points were good as well. Please keep this the same.

    Faction MLC -

This was good I thought, if the faction worked as a unit easily maxable. Maybe the rewards could be a little better than standard rewards maybe throw a emerald token bag in there and the rewards for leaderboards need to be better but all in all it was ok like 6 or 7 out of 10.

    Solo MLC -

This is where I believe the main problem of these events really are.

I believe as a free to play player you should be able to max a solo event, otherwise what is the point in playing the event in the first place. Especially when you hide the best rewards behind the last 2 milestones which you have to spend stupid amounts to even get too.

I managed with a little bit of spending to get to 14/16 milestone, I did everything that I could possibly do with spending 100's and 100's of pounds/dollars. Normally you would be able to catch up some of that gap with the talent up portion of the solo event but in this event you made it so it was only 4, yes 4 points per talent up that is a joke of a talent up.

I understand you as a company need to make money, but this is not good. If I could have got to milestone 15 I would of said this was a good event, but if you are going to hide all of the rewards behind a pay wall, There isn't a point in doing the event at all.

A suggestion maybe spread the rewards thought the milestones better and allow the grinders in the game to have a chance to keep up with everyone else.

For new people to the game the event would have been pointless as even the zombies required for extra rewards were last years. Would have been pointless event for newbies.

events have far to many turnbuckle wins.

then milestones were to far apart.

one massive plus is I haven’t had one crash all the way the rough event

  • jmc72

Pretty much same old game, no chance of getting characters even when spending and grinding.

Seems harder to get decent characters and gameplay limited and does not really inspire.

Nothing new in showdown or tours to make me go wow that's interesting. If I had not invested so much already in the game I would be done with it.

  • This event ran a lot smoother this time around for me. Other then getting all those no internet pop ups in the showdown brawls. Tours gave out nice rewards for completing them. The solo event was okay but could used a revamp in the rewards for completing the milestone. I believe make it a way to max the solo event without having to spend money would help a lot of people put in getting more rewards. Also adding more 4sg and 5s emerald tokens throughout the milestones so people can work on their roster more.

The faction contest gave great rewards but maybe add more milestones so factions can't max it easily.

The new skill plate looks great but I'm gonna assume just like the newer plates that came out it might be a time thing. So maybe you can add a bag inside a side event with all the new skill plates so people could at least get one.

Zedge looks great with moves and such, but his model doesn't look right to me. He looks more like a zombie hof edge.

But this was a great event overall.

    IGN: ShadowDemon666

  • Pros: Solid tours all around

Points available for the characters was great and achievable other than grinding for 250 matches.

Cons: Talent upgrading on the solo tours was far too low.

More bags to be obtainable in order to try and earn either shards or the car
