Trying not to beat the dead horse here but it would be nice to see some action taken from repetitive comments event after event.
Why do we continue to see points locked behind the new character who needs to be bought with pulls or get lucky from RNG during the event? It's the same problem in Feuds where someone can skew leaderboards and take the rewards away form another player.
Solo Contest-
Win with required superstars has gotten better with a mix of common and rarer characters (still dislike the debut card being required).
Earn a showdown coin is what it is at this point. Theres no real reward for going passed the minimum required notoriety at the last tier.
Talent up stunk, this is a prime example of the entire community agreeing and an easy fix for the next event that I'd love to see adjusted.
Spending a token for the first time is an interesting idea for getting a large number of players to spend a small amount of money, I don't hate this but why not tier it up. Spend 1 for 500k, spend 10 for 750k, etc...
At the same point that spending is ok these events also need to be grindable. Not every player is willing to spend money. What happened to just a no limits character to use to obtain solo points?
Solo overall wasn't horrible, but there was no need to play more than a couple hours.
Faction Event-
1 point per HP and TU seems a little low but I guess if you scale it over 100 players....wait its still pretty low.
Collecting shards of the debut character is OK I guess. You could obtain through normal play and purchasing.
Is there any way to limit the faction points per player so that the first people to log in don't hit the limit and give other player no incentive to do anything?
Tours-
Honestly good job here. I wouldn't mind some more emerald tokens, but overall these have gotten better over time. I did see some people have issues getting the contest points though so maybe iron out some of those cobwebs.
Overall I did not max the Solo event and didn't really care to spend a bunch of money to do so. The game did not hold my attention for more than a couple hours after maxing what I could do for free.

Edited for Post Event Feedback:
•Tours - Scaled nicely, decent event rewards & was nice to have some older zombies as CSS.
•Showdown - was scaled well & opponent difficulty increased gradually with notarity. The amount of CSS matches also wasn't too high so that was nice.
•Solo Event - there was a few issues here.
(A) tech talent up only being worth 4pts is crazy low, if u were 100k from maxing that would be 25k tech talent.
(B) the CSS bonus points for using zEdge ends way too early so if u pull him after SD ends you're screwed. Maybe u could swap that points method to beating the tour boss with zEdge on any difficulty for future events.
(C) I understand the final 2 milestones have to have something to encourage people to spend but some of that could be spread out in other milestones.
(Example - The MLC Points)
•Faction Event - it's pretty much just free stuff in milestones for playing the rest of the event but needs some reward improvement.
•Store Offers - there was a couple decent offers but most of us expected to get the weekend bonus for buying the weekly backstage pass & I hope this doesn't continue in future events.
•Overall I think the thing that needs fixed the most is winning a SD match with zEdge, I don't see what it would hurt to switch that to beat the tour boss on any difficulty like I said above. Would be about the same as winning a SD Match. That way if u pull him after SD ends u can still get the points.
Also since u release 5 posters a month I don't see what it would hurt to make 1 of those every now & then 100% grindable to obtain.

The milestones need improved because there's not much worth the slog

Please add more shards instead of turnbuckles it literally gives pain ..😞😞

Yes please more shards. The turnbuckles are unless and takes forever to use them

Secondo me bisogna migliorare i premi i tenditori li trovo anche con le magliette ci vorrebbero più pacchetti vita e coin secondo per il resto mi piacciono i concorsi che comprendono faide e show down , quindi dico buono

The weekly backstage pass having to be bought again for the weekend event was not ok. If I spent 10 dollars earlier in the week. I should get the weekend backstage pass already included in the price. I also feel that more resources should have been spread out evenly over all the solo milestones. Locking 15 million coin in the last 2 milestones is egregious.

Limited Time tours
- Fun to play & Rewards are good
- Would be better if everyone's tour was based on their player skill that it's based on for bonus
- Maybe the rewards can be a little more rewarding
MLC
- Would be great if you made it a little more reachable to max out
- More time to complete
- Better tasks to complete because everyone doesn't all ways have the superstars to complete said task
- Maybe lower the points goal to max event
Showdown
- Match ups are way to difficult, maybe matches can be difficulty based
- Better superstars for bonus, because again everyone doesn't always have the bonus superstars
- More points for said bonus
Overall I enjoy playing the game, but maybe not making it sooo difficult to max out mlc events or just where you at least have a better opportunity to do so. Other than that the game is great and fun to play.
P.S. Also could you give better freebies and not be so money orientated 😁

***The Good***
Edge "Rated Z" Tour
This was fine, not too hard, not too easy. I also like that Zombie Drew was needed for one of the tours so it gives a purpose to move him up as well as reward people who have.
Edge "Rated Z" Showdown
I liked that the bonus characters for the showdown was not overly restrictive, and the amount of matches to grind was a VERY reasonable level. I never have a problem maxing showdown day 1, but I'd also like to add the progression of my opponents was great too, I had a reasonable ramp in difficulty as I went up in notoriety so I was very happy with this.
I thought the distribution of rewards in the milestones was great, and the last few milestones give a ton goodies along with plenty of coin to "reimburse" the player for maxing the even should they chose to do so.
***The Bad and The Ugly***
What I was not happy about was the $9.99 for the backstage store pass popping up, and whomever thought this up should get a slap on the wrist and someone to give them the shame finger. I understand that Scopely is a business at the end of the day and needs to make money. However, when you buy a weekly pass and you're being asked to buy another $10 pass less than a week later for something that you got free previously was not cool. Not only that, but that pack isn't even worth $9.99 or the $19.98 it claims to be either.

Below average event. Second tour is a pay only tour for the most part.
Event milestones are very minimal and not worth much. Stop w 4ss tokens and give more 4sg and above with new system.
Only reason that this isn't more harsh is I pulled a 2s zEdge for my first ever pull in an event so I am super happy about that.
If I had not pulled the zEdge I would have received less than my time was worth based on normal rewards.

I have to say this event was actually good . This is one of the better showdown tournaments that has been put out. Everyone had the bonus superstars that's a major plus. Alot of people are actually able to hit milestone. So props for scopely to do that .. can't max out the solo without spend but I'm happy with it.
The tour was pretty good to. I can't complain.
Only bad thing is the faction milestone. It's been becoming increasingly difficult to actually max it out. 😕 it's not faction oriented. It needs to be more faction friendly.
Overall I say this was a good sign and a great look. I heard a lot of good things from this tournament. People were actually happy.

Every event has a big spend element & not enough for the grinders. Therfore grinding seems a complete waste of time
In this event in particular the increasing Tech Talent is only worth 4pts so not really going to hhelp much.
SD coins only being worth 10pts could be a little more.
The faction milestones need to be improved because there's not a great deal in the rewards that is really worth going for
Edge "Rated Z" Tour
This was fine, not too hard, not too easy. I also like that Zombie Drew was needed for one of the tours so it gives a purpose to move him up as well as reward people who have.

This event and the last couple of SD events are way off balance u get 4pts per tup of a tech and the normal grind and it's impossible to get close to maxing without spending a massive amount. The game events need to move towards a more grinder friendly event. I understand the need to make money which you do hand over fist anyway but to make the events impossible to max is ridiculous it makes the players not want to bother knowing they aren't getting anything for it. Then the faction events need to be improved again there becoming not worth the effort

Bear here with some real-time feedback on this TRASH of an event. Let discuss:
- The general greed of this company is becoming more and more apparent with each subsequent event. There’s no remedy to this besides do better some examples:
- Backstage pass…. Holy moly what a kick in the nuts. Bear you paid us $10 USD earlier in the week to get exclusive deals from M-Th. If you want to see some for the weekend which aren’t even great? How about another $10? Scopely response… well you get better event milestones if you purchase through the portal!!! Wait… you couldn’t. Solution: Stop ripping us off. One backstage pass is enough.
- Roughly $300 USD to max the event for a very good skill plate and some solo points. Cool. You do you scopely. But locking 30k faction points and 15m coins behind that wall when they used to be more widely dispersed? Just trash. Remedy: Spread the solo points and coins more evenly across the milestones. Keep the paywall to things like the plate… although even that is a terrible idea.
- The Tours (Positive)
- The tours were scaled nicely.
- Portal Event (Horrific)
- Talent Up (Piss Poor)
- 4 points per tech talent up. That is not a typo, although perhaps your scoring in game was. 4 points per tech talent up. You outta be ashamed even offering that method at this point. I can’t decide if that’s Scopes trying to force the player base to burn resources to drum up more sales by selling resources or an attempt to have the end user want to bludgeon themselves continuously clicking buttons (ps where is our talent slider bar?).
- Required characters (Positive)
- The trend of “any version” of a character is great. It allows for more people to compete and hit milestones. We could have used more matches to accumulate more points but I am sure most appreciated a weekend of 50 matches and then they can throw their phone onto the countertop.
- Fix your trash you are offering. It’s unbelievable that the team cannot fix the missing legendary straps from the events and even worse support is clueless about this and usually close the tickets. I am sure someone will say… is this related to the event or a different issue? It’s both. Solution: Fix your garbage coding.
- Why do the events end 3p ET? Again you are losing money because players are more likely to want to double down on the spend and portal event. Solution: Extend it to Monday at 3p ET.
- Game stability (Hurray!)
- Glad to see the game wasn’t crashing left and right like last weekend. That’s an improvement.
- Faction Event (Blah)
- Rewards just need to be scaled better. That’s all. It’s almost a throw away at this point but free is free I suppose.
- Scoring for new character (Poor)
- It is terrible that if you pull Edge after 7p ET, you get 0 points because you needed to win a SD match with him prior to that time. Solution: Change it back to earn 500k points for advancing the chase card talent 1 point for SD events.
Overall another swing and a miss by team Scopely. Congrats on finally providing a top tier Edge. Lots of excitement over him and the plate, but again you’ve cut the grinders off at the knees. Is there a reason why you cannot incorporate a solo event for SD matches won to give away a 2sg, 2ss, and 2sb card?
That’s all for now, but there’s still 27 hours, so similar to the blog, my feedback is subject to change 🙃
Bear, The
ps @MattSabre … tag you’re it!

The few positives about this event are the tours which are nicely scaled and not locked behind paywalled superstars. The showdown bonus superstars also very open plus we don’t need to grind over 200 matches like the previous few events.
now here come the negatives.
faction event rewards are laughable and not even worth chasing. One of them if you max you max, no stress if you don’t because there’s not much in there to worry about.
solo contest rewards. Ridiculous that they’re so too heavy. Having 15m of the 22 locked behind a paywall isn’t a good look and it’s an instant turn off for the majority of your players. Yes the big spenders will always spend to max an event but there are more casual-mid range spenders than big ones. Most people won’t even bite on the 1 loot coin anymore since it doesn’t even hit them another milestone. 13/16 can by hit without spending a dime and that’s where the vast majority will end up stopping.
the backstage pass has now lost value since you need 1 for the start of the week and now one for the weekend. Talk about trying to cash in on your player base. Hard pass from me personally.
the showdown events always follow the same formula. You can score X amount of points with X superstars and you have to spend loot coins to max. As a result of this people now see showdown as a weekend off. Max the SD coins both days. Hit the bonuses and put down the game until the Sunday tour and coin event. I mean most won’t complain at that 😂
what happened to being able to grind for something decent? The last time that happened in a showdown event was MOTU Warrior if I’m not mistaken it was it Ciampa. The community appreciated the Zombie Paige showdown grind from 2 years ago but that was down to your previous error of coding the zrock coffins wrongly.
we look forward to another copy and paste showdown event in 2 weeks time.

Thing is i feel like showdown events have recently started going on a downhill spiral, i mean this showdown just topped all other showdowns for the worst event ever,
- I mean i totally liked the requirements but pay walling 15m coins isnt a good thing, Resources like this should never be paywalled at all.
- i totally get the last 2 milestones being paywalled but making it 300 bucks for it really shows the greed for it!!!
- the tech talent up? oh dont get me started on that 4 points really??? this was absolutely stupid either the person designing the event was drunk or just did this on purpose!
0 -
another event where you need to spend a fortune to get to the last couple of milestones in solo. 4 points per talent up of a tech, is pretty low for the event. I suppose its good for the majority of the player base as they pretty much know they cant get to level 13 so no point playing.

Tours were good and balanced. Showdown was ok. Good number of matches for bonus points but no where near enough bonus points to be effective.
Solo event completely unattainable without spending several hundred dollars. Points per tech talent were not cost effective.
2 backstage passes is a slap in the face.

Took a break, came back for the Zombie MLC, and I see it's business as usual from Scopely:
- Last 2 solo milestone are 100% paywalled and have 75% of the resources
- Faction contest is practically worthless
- Double backstage pass as a "Gotcha"
- Tours keep requiring mediocre characters (zCharlotte was never good so how about we stop having tours for her?)
- Edge requires 100% complete RNG to get for free
- "Unlimited" talent up portion gives almost no contest points
- Portal Event ended before the solo contest once again so any money spent Sunday/Monday is wasted
- The actual SD coins part of the contest only accounts for about 20% of the total
Yet another dumpster fire of a weekend where the $500+ spenders will max with no effort and everyone else has to decide if they want to dump money into loot coins to pull a plethora of 3ss Charlottes. Can't wait to see it again in 2 weeks.

I have t enjoyed this event as much as the last few. There were a couple days in a row there were no new events to play unless you had the paid membership. Played the showdown mode most of the day yesterday without reaching the rewards which became a drag in the end

I would say that this weekend Showdown event was a good one as we were able to get a decent amount of milestones through SD and Tour.
Tours
The tours were pretty decent only thing that I did not like is that we had to use zombie Drew and without paying for a 3s or 4s the tour was very difficult to do and get any rewards, so it would of been nice to at least let us use any zombies for that tour and to get the bonus rewards to use zombie drew.
Showdown
I actually enjoyed the new layout of the Showdown that the matches were spread over a lot of different characters instead of having to do a bunch load of matches with 1 wrestler. I enjoyed getting to a decent milestone on the Solo contest and I know that to max we are having to pay which is not an issue for those that are able to shell out money.

Ah, Zombie month. Never fails to bring us some bad events. Well, this one wasn't an all-time worst ever, but we'll get there. Also to preface - I pulled zEdge at 4SB from a gold bag, and that may or may not affect my feedback.
- Obligatory "screw you for the weekend backstage pass" point. Not worth the money. Felt like a slap in the face. Others have covered why it was bad in more detail. Moving on.
- Another favorite of mine - super backloaded milestones! 75% of the coins and about half the TP were loaded onto the last two milestones, which were basically impossible to get to unless you got Edge or whaled the hell out. There's even MLC points (a third of them!) in the last milestone, which is just the cherry on top there. That's not to say there wasn't anything at all prior, but I hate how shady it is to go 'Yeah, 22 million coins this weekend' and then get a fraction of that because you don't want to drop 500 bucks (as TU is worth jack this time around). The only upside were the shards, of which there were some good amounts - I found that you got a pretty large percentage of Edge, though unless you pulled his poster good luck making up the difference.
- Tours weren't the worst, and thankfully the zDrew one wasn't too bad if you wanted the relevant stuff (Edge bag, most of the points) - it's a bit early to put out a tour like that, as you only have zDrew at 4SB if you really grinded or if you pulled/paid for him. Rewards were generally good, but please don't make me use zCharlotte any more than I absolutely need to.
- Showdown itself was also good - made a lot less grindy (I do think ~50-60 matches is manageable with how quickly you can burn through them on day 2) and the requirements were fine enough even if you only had zJeff to work with for the 2020 requirement. Was a bit harder than usual (probably due to 5SG characters finally showing up in good numbers) but it wasn't impossible either.
- Please for the love of god stop putting common zombie posters in every single zombie featured pool ever I am so tired of pulling zFinn

Event wasn't bad it was a normal showdown event. What kinda stunk about it was the 4 points per tech talent. kinda forced your hand if you were close enough to max it. Have people weighing in their head do i spend 99.99$ once or twice. for essentially 400k-700k points to max the event again i get you guys have to make money and thats fine. But you could of atleast purple like a nice belt with a boost on it in the final milestone for edge.
biggest pros though only needing 10-20 matches per superstar just wish the points were a tad bit higher. Offers were decent. I just wish there was better shard offers for zombie black or a faction event like you did for zbryan to get us that poster.

Pros:
Liked that the showdown event matches in the solo contest allowed for not just the zombies but also their “normal” counterparts.
There was not an absurd number of matches required for each character.
Cons:
The zombie Drew tour did not scale well for those who had not purchased at least a 3sb fuse up from the beginning.
Talent up for techs only giving 4 points is too few unless you are really close to a milestone.
Dislike getting turnbuckles as rewards, ending each month with 10,000+ extra universal turnbuckles.
Would also recommend giving a bump to the minimum number of shards ZEdge in the milestone bags. Give people a legit shot at pulling the character with shards.

Literally everything this guy said I agree with mherex also said a ton of similar stuff I also feel as the game is creating a toy story scenario where every month I am chasing after a new toy and not really focused on anything that happened last month victory tour was awesome and tu is awesome but I also feel you could do more of a mix of contest super stars so when I ask my faction mate if I should upgrade zombie Seth or zombie Jeff his response shouldn't be well u have 12 other zombies that are better don't waste your resources those 2 suck yet those 2 are the only ones I get points from well bonus points
2 -
The biggest issue with this event was the X4 for upgrading the talent of tech superstars... Way too low, i was missing 40k points for a milestone and had to evolve guys for 10k talent.. that's way too much, talent up should be more rewarding.
Also milestones should be more spread out like others said, other than that it was a decent event

Tours: I thought these were scaled well. I liked how even if you did not have the specific character for the node, you could still go through the tour. I do not have a champion subscription, but adding a tour for those who spend makes sense as long as it isn’t a make or break for the events.
ShowDown: I like the new layout with multiple characters that most players have. Would had been nice to get more shard bags, as my whole faction maxed both days but couldn’t max the faction event.
solo contest: I maxed both days, spent money on coins and got the event character, invested a few million coins in leveling up the event guys and still missed the final milestone by two milestones. If you do everything and spent some money, the final milestone should be achieved. The rewards are nice tho. I like the multiple different shards given out in the milestones, I thought that was a nice touch.
shard bags: I like the set amount. It seems more manageable than pulling the minimum out of a 5-100 shard bag. I saw a lot of people in my faction family get the character, so I felt that the drop rate was better than normal too.
I feel these show down events have improved over the past 6 months and want to express gratitude for that. Thanks
