PVP perks need to change

The most current set of faction feud perks can’t actually be considered perks. If you max the +mp perk you gain 3 starting MP, if your opponent Maxes the opposing perk they reduce your starting MP by 3. This means any player who maxed the +mp perk has no starting MP advantage which they spent 6.5M coins on.
Those players who did max both perks have spent around 13.5M coins in which they’ll just about break even if they manage to max the Becky Lynch solo event which runs alongside this weekends feud.
altering the old -mp perk was fantastic as it made so many characters more viable since their special gems were no longer nerfed. That was a positive change which the playerbase asked for and approved of when it was granted. This current perk set up is abysmal and gives no real ‘perk’ since it can be totally neutralised. Please consider this going forward.

It’s a complete waste of coin to purchase perks that can be totally neutralised by your opponent … what did I purchase when essentially you are giving us no real perk!?

Receiving perks as part of your rewards is not a reward, more like junk mail. I don't even want to waste my time opening the bags as they hold no value for me. I refuse to purchase perks.

Seems like a lot of resourves spent to break even on MP.
Several members of townhall suggested PERKLESS feuding like we had a little while back.
That would allow a lot of players who arent normally useable to see play time, as well as lets us spend coins on other things in game.

Y’all sure put the perk in percocets with these nerf perks. Take my MP, take my gems, take my gun away. It’s frustrating that no matter how many people say it, no matter how unanimous the feedback is from the community is, you just don’t listen. We don’t want negative perks. We don’t want the perks our opponents buy in feuds to affect us. We don’t want it. But telling you guys that is like telling my dog to stop chasing the squirrel. He’s just going to do it every time and I’m a prisoner to it. #MakePerksPerks

Offensive and defensive feud perks should not overlap. If the offensive perk adds mp, the defensive perk should not reduce mp for the opponent. Make them totally exclusive. (Offense adds mp, adds blast gems, adds power gems. Defense reduces opponents color gem generation, adds protect gems and adds kick out damage) If I get a perk, my opponent’s perks shouldn’t completely negate it.

Not surprised to be honest, they’re more focused on cramming ridiculous warscore steps or garbage loot offers down our throats. I have a better chance of getting a brick wall to listen than the Scopely dev team…these are the same guys that said Striker Bliss was “god tier” and valued at 5k, and the same dev team that promised 5 star tours at the end of August.
Oh, and your perk system blows. It’s first grade level comprehension to understand that if I don’t benefit in any way, it can’t possibly be considered a perk. I now have to buy “perks” just to not get screwed over for the feud.

I think the whole perk-system is a total waste of coins, but I am forced to do it, just to be competitive and I hate it. I only do like the tour perks, none of the PVP perks

This has been a hot subject for a long time now, as it has been actively changing (for better or worse) looking forward to seeing everyone's current feedback on the perk design.

Wr should not have to use coin to upgrade the perks in the first place. Yes unlocking do so, but upgrading should be turnbuckles only. Also I have a 5mp reduce perk on in SD and my opponent has a 3mp reduce perk yet mine is nerfed more than theirs

definitely not a fan of the mp reduce perks, and its made even worse by the fact its a female feud. there aren't many quick feuding females and people's female rosters are slacking, the perks would make it quite unbearable and very difficult. it's of course a massive waste of coins just to balance out mp against mp reduce so its almost as if there are no perks at all.

those perks are becoming more and more expensive, how about we remove the perks and let the game bring its glory back of classic times.

Great post, give this man a medal. unfortunately scopley won’t change anything because they literally don’t care about our opinions as long as we’re still spending.

Get rid of perks or only have offensive ones that affect you attacking- it’s pve anyway who cares what the defence does

Never forget...the powers that be believe the following: "If people didn't like the perks they wouldn't use them."
We have to stop using them. No amount of negative feedback here will change that viewpoint. As we've seen.

It would be nice to see perks condenced into 2 universal perks
Weekend perks that work for showdown and feud
Week perks that effect tours and blitz
Also with all the negitve mp coaches were getting and tag links that effect opponents mp, having perks that do it is overkill
