Thank you Fellas (ands Gals) for contributing to this round of constructive feedback!

Congratulations to @Demon_Inferno on winning the giveaway for a “King Sheamus at 4-Star Gold!

"The good:

- The requirements were open enough that everyone could do the 150 bonus fights if they wanted to. Always nice when everyone can participate in the events.

- The mind numbing grind was reduced. 75 fights if you could double-dip the points, 150 if you couldn't. Big improvement from previous showdown grinds.

- Seeing people actually hit the card in bags and loot pulls (no, I was not one of them). Much better than last week where practically no one got Acro Austin, so there was improvement there.

- Nice to see a new character from an era other than "modern".

The bad:

- Something seems off on the scoring. What it takes to max this event just seems unrealistic, both in terms of pulls (money) and/or talent up. Even if someone hit Sheamus from a bag or pull, they still needed a bunch more points through spend and/or talent to max the event. A lot less people would have maxed if they hadn't saved their showdown coins from last week, so that skews the numbers quite a bit if you only look at how many maxed, and not "how" they maxed.

- Flat shard amounts out of bags. Knowing for fact, without a doubt that you will not get the character through shards before the event even starts puts a damper on the event. Personally, I cannot express how much I HATE RNG. However, with random shards in the bags, it gives people a glimmer of hope they can play the event and earn enough shards to get the card, even if they don't get lucky and land the card outright from a bag or pull. So in this extremely rare instance, I support going back to RNG shards from the bags. Flat shard amounts are great if the card can actually be acquired in the event though.

- Shards from loot pulls. On a 40 pull and a 10 pull, I hit ZERO shards for Sheamus. With the flat shard amounts in the bags, to entice spending or give people a reason to spend, shards should have been hitting quite a bit from loot pulls. I saw some people hit some, but not nearly at the levels they should have been hitting at given the shard "wall" we were road mapped to hit in the event.

- Still not a fan of "luck" with new cards. You either had to get lucky from a bag or loot pull to land the new card. I'd rather see events go back to the card being a prize for completing the event, instead of it being nothing but RNG luck. I have heard that it won't go back to that, but I wish it would.

The Ugly:

- Faction event. The last minute money grab on faction points was ugly. To be fair, the amount of faction points in the packs made it fairly easy to max, but doing it last minute like that wasn't good at all. "

It is a good thought to use old superstars as contest boosts so that they are still relevant

The tour is preety decent. The rewards are good. I guess many people are getting King Sheamus from the bags itself. It is a good thought to use old superstars as contest boosts so that they are still relevant.

But please give us some other trainers ability. The last 4-5 superstars have the same training ability i.e increase certain gem damage. Overall the event is good and as always the showdown will be better.

I believe you meant to post this in suggestions and not The Sheamus Event Feedback.

I expect after we see one gem damage trainer/coach of each color, we will then begin seeing different abilities.

This showdown event is all about spending money 💰. How are faction supposed to max out this event 🤔 . It utterly ridiculous that almost every event is based on spending 😑 . Why can't we just have an event for once based on just playing and not spending a whole lot of money or any . I understand it's a business and you have to make money .. but give the players a break every once in a while. We have other things we can and should be spending our money on . And if you want us to spend our money give us better rewards.. something we can say this is worth buying or spending cash. What ever happened to Free to Play ( F2P ) . It's so frustrating every event is based on spending money 💰. A money spending event 😑

The tour wasn't bad at all . The first one was super easy. 👌

  • Ok contest. Rewards were below average. No need for 4ss tokens with change like before. Not proper points for reward wall for contest. Also rewards inside seemed really low unless you spent a ton and then they were ok.

The showdown event itself was great and seemed very smooth. Bonusncharacter points were way too low.

4 out of 10 as event itself was fine. Everything else below par.

@The Modfather J just spoon fed you what is wrong with this event.

Points were skewed too heavily towards Sheamus. They should have been weighted more heavily towards either adding an additional required category of wrestlers or raising the points of the other two categories.

Review of the Sheamus Showdown Event

    Pros:

The bonus characters for showdown were pretty open so everyone has someone that fits the bill

The total number of bonus fights in showdown was reduced again a plus

Inclusion of belts with the bigger boosts possible and emerald tokens being included was nice

Sheamus as a character was a much needed update to a class lacking in powerful characters

    Cons:

The fixed shards showed there was no hope if all you got was shards the chance at larger amounts makes it more worth it to try for that next stretch bag (Not enough shards were available to earn if you claimed all bags available to get the character)

Not having a real way to earn faction points other than HP and spending was horrible

Locking faction points behind the weekend chase character was not a good idea given there were so little available to begin with.

20% of the solo points were locked behind getting the weekend character even with that you still couldn't max without spending or a huge amount of talent up

The event seemed like a huge stretch for the solo (an unreasonable amount of talent required or a large amount of spending even if you were lucky enough to get the character and the 2M points specific for him)

Adding huge solo and faction points to the final day packs seems like you are penalizing anyone who purchased the packs early in the event. This is a huge detriment when the event is spending focused. It will cause people to spend less moving forward.

Overall a very lack luster event that left a lot on the table that could have made this event a lot more enjoyable for all players.

I did everything that was asked of me. Cleaned out the tours, maxed solo, did all the showdown matches. Not even 1100 shards of Sheamus.

I can't provide any more constructive feedback than to tell you how exhausting it is to see that final result at the end of a long weekend, watching all my faction mates get lucky pulling him from the bags even as they toil in the lower milestones of the solo contest because they claimed their coins early.

I feel punished for saving my SD coins and putting in the extra econ to max the solo contest. I do not feel rewarded in the slightest. And the people that did get Sheamus and do everything else I did are 2 million points ahead of me on the leaderboards.

I don't want to do the meticulous breakdowns of the event to give you guys constructive feedback. Because I don't feel like anyone's listening. Just put the scrap of paper with my name in the hat.

Pros- Fixed shards are always nice. Grind wasn't bad. great strap chances in the milestones.

Cons- Store offers came out later punishing people who bought things earlier. Faction points were paywalled.

  • He is very good hope can I get him but not my bad luck

    Pro:

    • reduced amount of SD matches needed - was nice to grind them
    • everyone was able to score points since everyone should at least have one RAW or WCW superstar
    • points can be obtained in tours

    Con:

    • milestones were set way too high - even with grinding the whole day it was not possible to get to the last milestone without having to spend money
    • a lot of members pulled Sheamus after the special SD ended. It would have been nice if they had been able to get the 2 mil bonus points for playing a normal SD match with Sheamus too

    IGN: Hornochse

  • The faction event was a joke main way score points was by spending meaning only the spendere benifited. What about the rest of us what a joke.

I understand your a business and need make money but have some other way gain faction points like previous contests

  • The bonus characters for showdown were pretty open so everyone has someone that fits the bill

I just want to give a honest feedback. Its really next to impossible for maxing the event even the solo unless you pay from your pocket. Its a request to you people either u give the event superstar or not but make the event easy so that more peoplecan reach the last milestone.

otherwise its a decent event and i really love this game and playing it for almost 5 years.

  • I personally was unable to max this event, but got over halfway points from it.

The contest matches were so much better this time. 150 compared to 300 or 400. Characters that mostly everyone had.

The showdown itself was a climb, was not horrible.

The tours I wish were set on the first day of the contest, as nothing happens on the first day. By adding a tour during the same time the showdown starts, takes away from people who struggle to climb the ladders.

The new Sheamus being a contest character seemed a bit off putting. I get you want people to have a purpose in levelling him, but the tour he's required in didn't give much other than faction points, which is another issue that I'll address afterwards. He should've had a mini victory tour like motu Mysterio to make leveling him have more reason.

The faction event was just sad. No way of maxing it without needing to spend.

  • The showdown itself was a great way to use old characters to get points, however the faction event was really horrible due to the fact that it was pretty much a spend event. Even after maxing both you only get half the shards on a character that you mostl likely won’t have a chance like this to get is really disappointing.

  • People r losing interest in contest that need lots of cash on order to max....

Overall its a lousy contest...unless ur lucky enuf to pull sheamus or get him in those bags u most likely will need to spend lots of money to max his event....without his 2m solo points its almost impossible to max.

I think most people misses how the showdown contests use to run....where u can have an option to spend cash or for those f2p to grind their way to max

  • The showdown event was very limited in terms of points you could gain. Hard to get close to the later milestones. I think emerald tokens should be a milestone or 2 earlier in the rewards. More TP in reward bags please

I got sheamus so can’t complain but only from the final tour bag.

without him I’d have hit 12:16

    with him I hit 15/16

i still ended up 1M short despite TU all bonus matches, all SD coin etc

its clear this is a pay to play game now.

would be happier with 100 per month subscription but you got everything?

    Pro -

requirements of Raw, WCW, Acro Naka and HHH Game for SD/Tours.

No RGN Shards for Sheamus, even though there's not enough (which there should be) to recruit him

Straps with actually good bonuses ie Affiliation, +20% gem damage etc etc.

    Cons -

    faction event tired to spending.

Only 1 TU options of Upgrading Powerhouse for 25. Last week was Modern Era for 25 and Acro for 25. Why not Powerhouse PG this week?

  • I like the contest, would love to see older characters up for grabs like rusev for an example or a new superstar with a similar training skill. As a newish player I can’t maximise characters because I need Rusev and Matt Hardy.

love the recent work though, I was lucky to get Rey MOM and he’s amazing.

  • it was the worst showdown I've ever seen. Faction contest difficult to close, individual impossible if you don't get sheamus from the bags.

    Hello,

    KING SHEAMUS DEBUT CONTEST FEEDBACK

    PRO’s

    1. Sheamus Debut tours were good and rewards were awesome.
    2. Showdown Tournament was easy to max on both the days.Bonus characters stable was nice.
    3. Sheamus Debut Solo Contest milestones were easy specially if you pull sheamus from bags or loot coins.Rewards were awesome again in solo contest.
    4. Loot coins odds were better in this week Shaemus debut loot pulls.
    5. Sheamus Faction Contest was brilliant and was easy to max specially if your faction is active and all players are contributing together.Milestones rewards were Incredible.

    CON’s

    1. Overall i loved Sheamus Debut event but i felt that if any players is maxing showdown tournament on both the days and maxed till milestone 16 then he should get those 1600 shards from milestone rewards itself if he hasnt pulled it from shard bags or loot pulls.i think 400 shards were given less in his debut contest,so major players missed him even if they had maxed the solo and faction event.
    2. Please rotate the timings of new events according to different players timezones.Indian players suffer the most because any new events starts its midnight 12.30 am here.I hope you will discuss this timing issues with your team because thousands of indian and asian players complain about the timings.Rest i loved this week debut event of sheamus.i wish i get him from scopely giveaway for my honest feedback : )
