Now that the event is out and milestones and requirement is known, I have completed this TU and it was really a talent up. I increased my roster talent from 670k - 720k
PRO:
- It was a great time for most players who were not able to work on the trainers, this was a time to work on those giving 2 benefits points towards TU and bringing your trainers to a decent level
CON:
- Not resources for most members would be ready that too right after an event and after flash feud, personally speaking I was able to do it because I had skipped last month and collected the resources which I was able to work in this TU. Had I not skipped it it would have been really tough for me too.
@DKMangler @Stagger Lee Request, if this format is about to stay, kindly make an announcement so that month can prepared accordingly. Because consecutive months like this is gonna be tough for everyone.

Alright, now that I've had a chance to sink my teeth into the TU, I can say that it wasn't as bad as I thought, but I also had a ton of resources to be able to tackle it. It took me 9 evolves (Tech Cena to 5SS; Socko, Afa, and Sika to 5SB; SB Naomi from 4SB to 4SG; Trick Cesaro from 3SB to 4SB) and taking Sasha to 5K to complete the event, and that's a lot of moves to make at once.
Mherex pointed out to me in his TU video that the usual resource packs are actually a lot cheaper this month and if we're going to have the same tshirt flow as we've had in prior months, that and other resources from events may be enough to keep up that kind of momentum, but I do still have worries about token usage - I basically fried my tech tokens (for now) doing the Socko/Cena moves, and I'm worried other classes may follow. I also agree with him that in subsequent events, this should probably be in the 120-140 million range in the future.
The biggest issue I see with this current iteration of TU is not that it's impossible to clear or anything, but that it'll be impossible to clear if you do it every month for like six months, barring some adjustments to the general economy and rewards. But I'll save my breath on that issue until I see how things pan out.

The talent up isn’t that bad if you change 1 thing, you need to change the amount of coins that give us credit. You can’t more then triple the final milestone and decrease the amount of coins we get credit for. We all spent a lot of coins, not really getting credit for them just to max this talent up.

Simply too much... i have been gutted of resources because of one single talent up. How are factions or players supposed to gain points via talent up in weekend contests if you drain us in the first week?? This just isnt sustainable. You are still way behind in the resource evolution of the game, not to mention you make events impossible to max, without spending, and back load the good resources. If this continues, you wont have the players to get you the profit anymore. Extremely disappointed in yet another giant step backwards. We should not be punished for playing smart. Increasing it is ok, but by the amount you did is absurd.

I get the desire to increase the talent up event to require more, but the drastic change is the problem more than anything else. Meeting somewhere in the middle would be more beneficial vs appearing to be a resource drain

The resources in the talent up was great definitely liked that part of it. Was good for leveling up straps. However the coin it took along with training points used wasn't compensated at all.
That said asking way to much from players to max it. Know a lot have myself included but damn that takes a major hit on resources available. Do not have it set up like that again. Total bullshit asking for that many points. People plan thru out the mlc for the next talent up event to throw that big a curveball at us isn't right or called for. Really taking the fun of the game out and making it a chore.

This Talent-up was awful.. Made it harder to actually max out the event .. this was probably the worst one yet.. Maybe in the next Talent-up maybe add in the milestone a 3 Star 🌟 Gold or 4 Star 🌟 Bronze fuse.. sometimes that make us actually want to participate in the Talent-up. Without making the milestone unreachable and unreachable. Also, same with the blitz. The rewards are awful that's why members don't want to actually participate in it. This blitz in the milestone they were not milestone for keys . Which stinks. Maybe in the milestone add a superstar that we can go after. Without making the milestone an outrageous number . Something achievable. We need better incentive and better rewards.

Your idea of "improved" is ridiculous.
I know of 14 people who quit after seeing it.
14 players gone.
I get you want to make things more challenging. But you make those changes gradually.
NOT one giant leap.
The change was to harsh and to drastic at once.
You should have added to it, make it a little more difficult over a period of time. Not one big lump and shock the system.
Whoever is running the show there is going to cause the loss of the game.
Players are getting disgusted by the day.
You take the time to make all this changes tbat arent wanted or necessary, but yet you can't even fix the common errors that have been going on for MONTHS now... lag. Red ring. Etc etc.
Again. I understand change..
Making things a little harder. But this was just simply to much at once.
You really have to grasp the fact that not everyone has 30 mill coins. Not everyone has 10 fuses or evos. Not everyone has a credit card.
This game should be equally balanced for spenders and freebies. Not just you guys bending over and letting the whales dictate the game.
Its really becoming ridiculous.
Try an experiment.
Open a new account. Start the game fresh as a new player with current requirements. See it as people do.
I tried to get my nephew to play. He lasted 48 hours and said it was to difficult and couldn't do anythint unless he spent.
The end. Your bew talent up was and is a fail.
The rage im seeing on discord and Facebook is insane.
But hey, if your goal is to get people to leave and get people to be mad.. your doing an awesome job.

Now that the talent up has happened, I still wish that it would scale back closer to what it was before. I managed to max it, but not without burning through a lot of resources that would have been very helpful in the month to come. The rewards were definitely better, but it is going to be difficult for the community to max an event like this month after month with as much resources as it takes.
I do appreciate that you have listened to the feedback from the post I’ve started and are asking for more now that the event is over. Hopefully we can find some middle ground between how talent ups used to be and this one so it can be more manageable for the community as a whole, especially if it’s going to be running month after month as it has been so far

I was able to ax the talent up with doing alot of moves including a nice chunk of coins I was ok with the increase but this is way too much . You need to start increasing the value of the daily tours. You do dean's daily and the other daily tours for what? With the 5ss guys you need to do some tours two to three weeks to obtain enough tp/coins to upgrade. Yea you put that stuff in events but your requirements are just too much half the time people cant max them and lose all the resources there and won't be able to recover that. Need to focus more on getting more coins and tp out there as you keep increasing all the events and characters but not the items needed to upgrade the characters no way people can keep spending 30 mill coins and then try and do coin events too through out the month and then ask them to do it again at the beginning of next month that's rediculous

The only good thing about this talent up was that this was the perfect time to work on trainer and coaches. i can understand the changes but it was too harsh to do that without any info. you improved the rewards but it took to many ressources to actually get them. hope the scoring system will be balanced like someone said.
just make the last milestones like a stretch goal with some really good rewards like usefull gears, rare shards and leave all the relevant mlc rewards like evo tokens, turnbuckles and mlc-chase-card shards in the "lower" milestones

I do not consistently complete the talent up and I have never managed to get the chase character. I saved up all of last month to hopefully be successful this month, but then you moved the marker! I have barely managed to max the talent up and the TP event, but it took everything I had and then some! I now have only 64k coins left and I will not be able to complete the other events this month! Why must you make things so difficult!?!?

I tend to think that the Scopely powers-that-be overcorrect everything they touch and see as needing recalibration...this Talent Up is the most recent example. Was too short/too easy last month and swung too far in the other direction this month...suggestion: inch closer to the middle unless you're ready to unveil a new token set for 5SG enhances that will each go for a big score and will better justify the new scale...or don't stash 100 shards of your chase in the final milestone where most of your player base can't reach, but rather put in an attractive yet non-essential prize like Hollywood Hogan shards.

This t.u event sucked I do get rising the point needed but that big of jump was uncalled for I did max it but my coin and tp r shot now and more then likely have taken away any chance of getting the chase guys this month hopefully u lower it next month maybe 100k would work for all party

Entiendo que fuera más difícil el talent up pero subirlo abruptamente a 172 millones es una mediocridad completa si realmente este juego va a ser solo para invertir efectivo y saturar las tarjetas de crédito les aseguro q van a fallar
En lugar de hacer movimientos y ajustes sin avisar mejor solucionen los errores que tiene el juego no solo piensen en el maldito dinero ya empiecen a ver qué la mayoria de los jugadores no gastarán en este juego que está mejorando solo para los inversionistas

I feel like the new TU was a joke. Expected way too much for some useless belts and plates and some chase shards. You guys need to make this game more friendly to its users and not focus so much on spending money.

Alright I commented on this thread before it went live and now I will again now that we've had 48 hours to take it all in.
First of all, I, like many others that have been around the game a long time, was able to max the event. Huge shout out to Mherex and the video he put out ahead of the event as it certainly helped craft a strategy for the players to use.
Pros:
adding strap parts to the rewards was great. Hope to see them in other event rewards too. This was a long time coming...
The fact that this really encourages the players to work up more than 2 people at a time is actually a pro too. Like others have said, this forced me to work on some much neglected trainers for some cheap points.
Cons:
It's not sustainable. The scoring requirements are too high... for now. I assume 5 star gold is coming soon and if we get a lot of points for those enhancements, then that number could be a lot more achievable, but until then... it needs to be lower. Consider something around 125 million instead.
While adding the strap parts was a huge plus, and yes getting 250 chase shards was good too... the event was very expensive and really was comparatively low in rewards as a whole. I will hold this thought for a bit though as long as the rewards come back throughout the month, I may be able to accept what was here.

It was definitely time to adjust the talent up there were some things I did like,
- More Emphasis on lower Roster moves, finally finished off some trainers
- I like the inclusion of the monthly free contest superstar for big points , However lets add some Incentive for them , Tokens (which are lacking this month) and Shards would be a nice gesture inside the milestones, the more you talent up the further you can take her initially which in turn leads to more talent up points.
Okay now for the Obvious
- The goal line was just too far - Maybe 33% too much, I think we can all agree it was discouraging for doing so much for so little in terms of moving the bar
- If you want a "stretch goal" this was definitely already a stretch don't go further - make the final milestone non MLC related , No Chase shards make it a Bleed immunity belt , a gear, etc (Just please no RNG)
Improvements (trying to separate other effective items from the Month long and focus specifically on Talent Up)
- Lets add some love for HoF tokens - They might be the most expensive exclusive token in the game, Give them some points
- Lets add some love for IoW tokens - you want us to work promoters ( Prove it )
- Should we cap the coins? possible make them x2 points per coin, make it like a week one coin event and encourage pushing cards

For those of us who don’t many 3sb or less superstars it was very costly to max this time. I doubt I personally could sustain what I did to max. Roughly 70mil coin and 9k tp because I was only prepared for the standard talent up we’ve had. Pretty big price to pay monthly. The gutting is mainly due to the truncated timeline we had to prepare but honestly it seemed a bit overboard. Was not horrible for newer players or people with plenty of 3sb characters to take up but those of use that routinely max events and most of our fodder consists of 4s cards it’s really expensive.

I do think that TU needed a revamp. I also understand that with higher goals, higher rewards we’re given. I think that the jump was a little steep from the previous month. The amount of people that maxed it were equal parts FOMO and ability. As long as TU isn’t a requirement to max the MLC, I have no problem with the changes. Also, there should be HOF moves included in talent up, and HOF tokens should be added to the other token types in the MLC.

Talent Up neeeded a revamp, we can all agree on that but there are ways to do that and this one was not the best way to do it.
- Terribly scaled. Max milestone was pushed way too far. Yes the usual 58.5M was a little to low and a little to easy to reach but it doesn't justify increasing to 170M+. A middle ground solution would have been ideal. Or if you indeed wanted to make 170M a stretch goal, then don't have MLC related items but instead offer something good but not vital for the MLC.
- Rewards were not worth the price. Given the resources it took for most players, having only 2 random skill plates as top reward (besides Johnny shards) was awful. Rewards should have matched the effort it took for most players to max, something more meaningful and valuable.
- Point methods should have included points for using HoF tokens and could have included points for TP spent.

I think the best way I’d describe this talent up was “doable, but not sustainable.”
I really hope you guys don’t look at the data and think that a high number still maxing means you calibrated it correctly. Take a poll. I guarantee you the plurality amongst players who did max it feel like they are now lesser prepared for the following month’s talent up than they expected to be by now. And that doesn’t mean people will pay to catch up; I think more will just give up because - again - it’s unsustainable.
There are some nice elements to this, like giving points for new token types (wish you would add WM and HOF tokens) and making actual talent increases count for more so I don’t want to throw out the baby with the bath water.
But overall? This talent up definitely missed the mark.
