Hello Jamie. This feature was implemented to minimize server load when players aren't actively playing the game. It's to assist with performance. I myself was playing showdown late last night and kept falling asleep for a few mins to wake up to this. It's annoying from a player perspective but it'd a necessary change.

Again with the "falling asleep" line, that's pretty weak sauce. You and others have made that reasoning for feud and now showdown. How bout the idle timer be only activated on active tournaments? Common sense would be that would be the time when the servers would see the most activity.

As of server performance, since patch 501 launched the game has been laggy, buggy, and until patch 506 rectified a bit of the issues, the game was downright painful to play. The idle timer is not showing what it's purported to help do.

So I play a phone game and I can't reply to a phone call of 10 minutes that just totally stupid ...

And that not a necessary change it is just the simple solution .

I don't know... I see Scopely's point of view here. You have a choice to make when the decision comes, put the phone down and attend to life, or finish what your doing in the game first then attend to life.

As for phone call, you can always put it on speaker and minimize and keep playing.

If there wasn't an idle timer, you could forever be in limbo or idle.

And what s the problem of being in limbo forever if I want to do it? I like to play like I want not like they want

I can accept something like a 2 hour timeout but 10 minutes it is ridiculous

But clearly if they don't change this it will be the end of this game for me

I've lost hundreds of health packs in the past few weeks because of this timer. It's pointless. The whole line about falling asleep is codswallop. Make the game more exciting so people don't fall asleep!

Feuds wouldn't benefit from the 10 min timer as you'd still miss the lions share of a brawl anyway. I can understand why you'd do such a thing in showdown to stop people leaving it hanging to save try and save notoriety loss (if thats still possible after the showdown matchup improvements recently) so why not just add a 15 min match timer to those?

If you really want to keep that timer then you seriously have to think about droping that greedy rule that if something happens like lost connection, kick out from battle or game freeze the player is left with no health! I'm not an addictive gamer who plays every game, I play only wrestling related games or Mortal Kombat, but I've never seen that stupid rule before. Everytime when I was left with no connection during battle or something like that, when I reload the game I was at the moment where my character has the same amount of health as he had before that battle. And it's like I haven't started that battle at all.

Implementation of this is poor. If it's going to be this way moving forward it should not take all of your health and it should not cause an end to your daily free run in a stipulation tour. There are a multitude of reasons anyone could have to be away from the game after starting a match.

You guys are interacting with a server for a period of time.

It's not an offline game, I'm sure there is some data being used in the background of things, thats why it requires to remain connected all the time. There are a chain of events that happen after the match starts and end. If there is a breaks mid stream, it my cause some inconsistent data on their end.

If you are in limbo forever, that connection needs to be open forever. Yes, overall, it might not be a huge burden for one person, but imagine 200,000 or 1,000,000 people doing this? This all factors into cost of business, may affect bottom line, you never know.

As stated above, server performance may be affected by this. People need to try to understand this from all angles and not just a player perspective. I'm not a developer for Scopely, but I sure understand the costs of server traffic and bandwidth!

Its a pretty crappy rule exasperated by the fact there hasn't been a lot of chances to get health packs of late. Having anything happen that makes you have to hold on for a few can cost you 40+ health packs if you are in a battle that requires a four star character. Simple and farest solution would be to leave the player with the health he has when he or she gets kicked.

Giving the players all the HP back would lead to abuse of the system as players would just time out on battles they know they'll lose to get HP back. But dropping all the HP is a pretty harsh punishment for life events coming up.

Is the gaming working better since they did that nop nop nop even worst for me

And just a question isn't the game making request to the server in home page of the game isn't request made as sooner as we start game ?

So I can stay forever in limbo in main page and make request but not In a figth

Ye of course connection to server is already up It is live updating event score

So I don't see your point

You can make request for ever in homepage but not in figth

And other games manage to disconnect you and to reconnect you at the point you were that s call save game I think it exist for mostly all normal game even online one even big one with one million people ( specialty with 10 minute limbo stop figth that should be easy it is not brutal disconnection)

Get rid of the nonsense draining your health to zero if it kicks you. It's bad enough when it's connection errors but the idle timer is just cruel.

I can somewhat understand it during a SD event or a feud where other players "could" be impacted. However, it's not ideal for times when you are playing a tour our a LT tour. People have lives and things come up that you should be allowed to tend to.

Think if you were playing a video game on a console, you would have the ability to pause during the story mode or some one player mode. In an online match, that is different, so as I mentioned before, I can understand it.

I do not think people are asking for it to be removed wholesale, I think what people are asking for is better judgement and more empathy from Scopely. Extend it to 30 minutes for non SD/Feud events and 10 for those would be my suggestion.

As a longtime veteran of this game, I can say without any hesitation that the 10 minute time out and subsequent health loss is one of the worst and most disappointing features that have ever been implemented in this game. Even though I would vote for not having it at all, I do see merit in having the limit as part of time sensitive events, like faction feuds. Other than that, it needs to be at least 30 minutes or more. I have already had multiple losses of health and props due to this issue. Please rethink this policy and adjust it accordingly. Thank you.
