Remove This Perk

Sincerely, remove this perk from the game... this feud perk has been the cause of so many excess issues, problems, and concerns the community as a whole experiences. This takes away health packs from people who do not have ideal superstars to perform due to these perks. On top of this, DE-generation "perks" and DOWN "perks" aren't actually a perk for you to compete with...
A perk such as the MP perk, gives players a chance to begin their onslaught a bit sooner. The submission perks benefit cards with heavy sub damage and turns! But the DEGENERATION perks and down perks aren't a benefit to the players. Its a net loss of coins for both players to purchase these perks, and end up in a worse position than if neither of them had purchased the perk to begin with!
I highly suggest, and request, that this perk be removed from the game, as it drains valuable health pack resources from players, as it drains coins from players on a perk which does not provide a direct benefit to the player themselves, and, as it drastically impacts the performance and efficiency of superstars that players have had for months upon years.
There should NOT be any MINUS or DEGEN feud perks, as they are not a "perk" by the definition of the word. And they effectively neuter the performance of what was supposed to be some very strong MLC chase cards, as well as paid mega cards.
Please take this suggestion into consideration. Thank you.

Are these intended to nerf reduce the generation of special gems such as Pyro / Power / Protect?
Or are they just meant to reduce actual Colour gems (Purple / Red) for example
Would be good to get some clarity on them as superstars such as Acro Shelton have been considerably nerfed in feuds due to this and the perk actually indicates that only colour gems are effected

I experienced this during the S******* Express feud. I had acro Shelton in my lineup and I noticed that he generated less multiply gems and pyro gems. I've also seen that there's a feud perk that generates more immobile/botch/silence gems, how is it fair to the characters that generate the special gems? Not everyone benefits from the "generates more immobile/botch/silence gems perk".
In order to make it a level playing field, please also increase the generation of special gems in tact with the gem generation perk.

So many characters have become useless due to the -gem generation perk reducing special gems. There isn’t a perk to increase them so there shouldn’t be one to reduce them. The rest of the perks can somewhat be counteracted with your own perks but the gem gen one is overkill with no way to counter it. It basically means any newly release characters that rely on singular gems/special gems become semi useless and it’s less incentive for players to spend trying to get them as they know they’ll only be useful in tours.

That not good gem reduction reduces special gems but gem additions perks are not increasing the special gems

If you want to nerf the speciality gems then that’s fine. But like the gem gereration perk you should have one for thoseas well. At least give us the option to buy them. What’s the point of having all these superstars if we can’t use them?

Why not just get rid of "All Gem reduction perks" if we can't have "All gem increase perks"
I believe that would be a simple way.

Personally they should only reduce the actual color gems only and not special ones as that makes the perk way more powerful than it should be.

The entire gem generation/degeneration “perk” is awful and it makes no sense. Perks are supposed to make the game better/easier, as the word implies. But this perk makes the game objectively worse for all parties. If I buy the perk and my opponent buys the perk, we are both not even right back where we started, we are actually worse off than where we started, and now we’re also both out millions of coins to boot. This isn’t a perk, it’s a tax. Put it up to vote, the community would overwhelmingly vote to eliminate this perk altogether as it stands. If on the other hand, it only increased generation and did nothing to decrease, then it would make sense as an optional “perk” that people could buy or not buy as they see fit.

There shouldn’t be any perk in PvP gamemode (Feud and Showdown) at all.
Blitz and tour perks are fine, it doesn’t affect another player directly.
Having defensive/reduction perks in PvP destroys the value of building specific characters and tag bonuses, and it’s such a killjoy.

Nerd here. I agree with my colleagues’ previous comments. If the perk is indeed intended to reduce the production of all gem types, then there need to be a perk that increases all gem types as well, not just the colour specific ones. That said, I find there are too many perk options in feud to begin with. But that’s a discussion for another day.

If this is the way it is supposed to work then its the worst on purpose mechanic in the game to me... I'll take dodge any day over this. Why do you want to nerf the new gems you went out of the way to make so fun? Games should be fun and imo we should be able to use our pyro and snowfall gem guys in feud please fix this. :)

Beyond feud, can we finally have characters with trainers specific to special gems, (gem generate for leech,pyro,snow) etc.
But this would be a great start!

Maybe it's time to re-evaluate if Perks are even necessary in Feud. Maybe they have become too powerful and should be scaled back.

I agree with pretty much all the comments here so far.
These perks nerf characters that we have all built up, and we have no way to counter it.
This perk in particular serves no benefit to the player, it just sucks the fun of feuding for others. Surely this can’t be the overall intention?
Lets modify this reduction perk to be color gem generation only for now, and consider removing it entirely for future months. Let players have fun if they are going to spend hours of their weekends on an event; don’t make them suffer.

we used to have trap gem perk and multi gem perk that used to increase the amount of those gems get generated and now that we dont have them all guys that use pyro/snowfall/multi and trap gems are nurfed ... so whats the point bring them in game if we cant use them ? i can understand the gem generation perk reduce the normal gems but if it reduce the special gems also there should be another perk to increase them too . thnx

I am not a fan of gem perks or reducers, it can completely ruin characters for events and doesn’t allow for even playing field

It's beyond stupid since some characters stop working, basically. -gems for Shelton THB basically kill any and all flow his best moveset has. Will be the same for AFA. Not great to nerf MLC cards into oblivion.

I agree with the other comments as well.
Snoop, Shelton, R-truth, Drew and others really get hurt by this in feud. The pyro/snowfall gems don't generate as many due to their power so this perk nullifies strong builds for these good characters.

I say just do away with all these perks anyway. They are nothing but a marketing scheme to get us to spend our coins and then hope we will buy some.

Noone needs this damn perks! If everyone has equipped all perks its the same like everyone has eqiupped none. So its the community that is dumb by equipping bullshit that noone needs. If noone would equip those shit we all would have no problems and no anger. Our superstars would also be much stronger by soending coins on them and not on perks.
But sure there are some dumbasses that do what they are told to do.....

All belts and parks should be gone from the game whats the points of them to take the fun out of the game its nothing but a cash garb and it's garbage this game has list the fun because of it

Trainers and coaches are enough get rid of perks altogether they are stupid and a waste of resources that could be spent increasing your roster

All this perks thing is making the game more harder and that is why players are leaving the game because of it. Game was fun when it didn't have all these perks thing. straps are fine though but these perks are totally trash if you ask me destroying the Fun in Showdowns and fued events.

I agree. Millions of coins are needed every single month for perks if you want to be competitive. I'd rather put those coins into the superstars on my roster to grow stronger. Someone else had a great point about newer players simply not having the resources. Then they don't earn the rewards to get stronger. Just get rid of perks.
