Superstar Debut Feud(+Giveaway)

The format of the event was good, but the faction side of the achievements has fallen flat lately. Only 5 milestones and the prizes their are below average.
The solo contest needs more tasks to drive score rather then grinding 12 hours of gameplay or spending hundreds of dollars to get to the top. More contest superstars makes it more fun, and challenging, but also not repititive "button mashing" just to complete brawls to climb the milestones. Also the contest superstars didn't have any sort link on the roster screen, and the superstar tasking was broken in that it didn't show progress or acted like there was no bonus available. This was nailed down for showdown recently, but comes up short during feud.
There were a few times where the feud timer expired during my match, and the no signal icon flashed on the center of the screen and I could not finish the match, so I had no choice but to exit the app and lose all HP. Also whenever finishing the last match of a brawl as soon as I hit the move to trigger a pin, I assume the CPU knew there wasn't going to be a kick out, and mid-match the bra already process is finished. Even though I did get all the points this was just a little bit weird.
I appreciate you guys constantly asking for feedback and improving the game.

Event was good. There were decent amount of chance of getting the character, even though I was unlucky. But it was good event.
One thing to improve is that if older card of the superstar is available it can also be used in tours or feud or showdown. Like there were two cards, powerhouse and showboat version, of Braun strowman was available but we couldn't use him.
Rest I enjoyed the event.

Overall it was a good event. For me it was a 7/10. Some red ring and health glitches in fued but not much. I feel the problem is in tours as very few players have the designated superstars to get bonus rewards and bonus points mattered a lot to progress in the event... So that's where I was disappointed a bit. I have been playing this game since the start and I have seen it evolve so hope you can improve and provide us with the best gaming experience. Thank you

Tours were OK. Good amount of points towards the event and decent contest superstars
Faction event is the same copy-paste thing like always. So, no much to say here
Solo event, it's good to see events that can be complete only grinding, but limit the faction feud score to 1 million is clearly a miss. Maybe add the "increase talent of any modern era" could help a little too like other events, the new superstar that can't be named is a modern era striker.
Faction feud: the only issue here is the red ring in middle fight that spoiled me if a win or loose a match before I did a gem match or a move

As always I'll break down the event
Solo
This was brutal beyond belief, the scoring method just was not adequate for the conditions. I had to fued for a solid 17 hours to max the solo event. If the minimun was set to 5 this would have been quicker. If we could have had more war score count it would have been quicker. That been said the rewards were amazing and Almost worth the effort.
Grab bags
Alot of people seem to be getting the weekend person from these bags but for me I had no luck again. 1020 shards from all bags is brutal. Why no shards or guaranteed poster after a 17 hour grind?
Tours
These where RUBBISH one tour to help the Contest and one if you got the superstar usless!
Let's not even discuss the pride tour as this is an insult.
Faction
Max able and decent ish prizes as usual
Game play
The game on my device played well with no noticeable issues
Overall not the best weekend event you have done and this is due to solo and the tours.

Couldn't use Lashley properly cos of another bug. Feud score should not be capped at 1 Mill, its a feud the scoring should be based around feud , not the character you are trying to obtain where loads of points were actually in his tour AFTER you got him.🤔 It was actually nice that there were some strap parts in the event, these are not available enough.

I'll focus my feedback on points to improve, so...
- Feud points capped at 1M only was terrible. Even worse when you have feud promoters and feud score boosts in store, which simply makes it pointless to have all those things around as not many care about rankings anymore.
- No incentive at all to use different superstars in feuds. Most would run a T1 killer and fodder, which made the event boring. Bonus CSS made no difference. Would be nice if in the future you'd benefit from running a high level team rather than a low squad.
- Solo rewards were good but could have been better since it took a massive grind to max. A guaranteed "you know who" poster would have made it better. Especially since he's no longer under contract.
- Tours could have been a little better. "He who shall not be named" had his victory tour, we could have seen someone else as the regular tour CSS bonus.
- Loot once again could have been better if you could remove all "free" characters we get from silver loot/blitz bags. Having them replaced with resources or even shards from "rare" posters would make it much better and perhaps people would be ok to spend some extra $$.

I like that if you wanted to grind fued you could and you didn't cap it. I wish all events were like that. Let the player decide if he or she wants to grind. Also id like to see a 2s poster at the max milestone guaranteed. I liked the days when we knew of get maxes the event we would get the poster.
The limited time tours are good. I liked that you had points for the event and mlc in there. Id suggest that the bags have more shards in them or make more bags available. 1600 is alot to find to recruit a guy especially if you're only getting 20 shards at a time. More bags need to be available for us to have a chance. I know they say up to however many, but usually its only 20 or 30.

The contest was short for me due to being locked out of the game for about 11 hours due to an inability to load anything. It’s unfortunate that you need to pay a lot to max an event anymore.

The usual copy/paste event. Even with bonus character max out at Milestone 6, unless spending or fueding for 24h.
Character design of Braun "Stowman Express" look meh at best. You feel like once he who must not be named got released the designer just put the pen down.
There's been much worse events and better ones. This falls in the 6/10 category.

I really enjoyed this feud, probably helps that I earned quite a lot of shards for Braun. I do have some criticism though that I think would improve the game for players.
Every Feud should have contest superstars, these can be a mix of faction and solo contest but they should both have several superstars to allow players to earn extra points - these superstars should be a mix of rare and common to allow everyone equal opportunities.
My biggest grievance with feuds is that they start at awkward times (this particular effects me as I’m a UK player so I usually miss the first 8 hours of a feud). My suggestion would be to have feuds run for two days as opposed to one, that way all players can contribute as much as possible. Using UK times as example you should start a feud at 8pm on a Friday and have it finish 8pm on a Sunday. This last feud didn’t even last a full 24 hours which only limits contribution time even more.
Besides that the game seems to be getting better and I hope you continue to improve the game

Good event, solid rewards…only complaint I have is the rng and how no matter what you do, how many pulls, how much time you spend playing or grinding, getting the card isn’t a given. I’d much rather see a 1 sb poster of the charater as a final reward in the contest. It gets disheartening constantly getting screwed by rng

Gioco molto piacevole
Ogni tanto riscontro qualche bug ma per il resto va molto bene, mi piacerebbe qualche evento in più per avere possibilità di trovare nuovi Wrestler

This event was very good better than the others , the solo event was a grind but if you wanted the rewards that is the way it should be. The only issue I saw was that the game would freeze every now and again but it is expected with the amount of people playing I have been playing this game for awhile now and I love it I like the characters and how we can use the moves that they use in real life Thank You for the time and effort you guys put in to give us the best playing experience

I always liked this game since it came out and this week event is very exciting because it gives you lots of resources and lots of shards to unlock the superstar and I hope you guys make this number 1 game so millions of people can play.

The time of the event needed to succeed compared to prizes is not right. Also, the Finn Ballr pride event should be embarrassing. Do you not care enough about pride month to put out some new gear? Again, why do I get gear chips and not use them on good gear? Overall … bad timing, another superstar who is not on the roster, and pride event that shows how the company feels about pride month

For 20 hours of feuding (that starts at midnight in the UK) on a Saturday in to Sunday it is impossible to get anywhere near any of the top rewards without spending the whole time feuding and going through thousands of health packs. 5s superstars don't always get healed because it costs 20 heals and most people only have the 8 heals that regenerate so that means lots of health packs and none reclaimed in rewards. The feud score should make more of a difference to the contest score.
I think it should be easier to increase your contest score so if you spend 4 or 5 hours feuding it is rewarded. Health packs would also be so useful as rewards during the feud contests. Maybe even faction heal tokens so that faction members can help each other out.

One thing i dont like is the bonus pts characters. Most people dont have them so it puts em at a unfair advantage. Here lately its been like that in every event.

This feud was slightly better than the last , but still a lot of laggy cascades and having to restart the game every other feud.
The milestones came with plenty of resources, which gave me motivation to grind the event.
I did not like that the points for the contest were cut in half, i.e feud score and bonus wins.
The tours were relatively fair , loving the shorter tours.
Change the points back to the old events and fix the lag, and you would have a better experience.

Positives
Non-Victory Tours: For all tours other than the Strowman victory tour (more on that later), the contest superstars were fair and reasonable based on the theme of the striker weekend and recent chances to get Volkoff in blitz bags for hell. The one-time rewards were a nice boost to MLC progress and got some momentum going on the solo contest, too.
Faction Contest Rewards: I appreciated the inclusion of strap parts in rewards this weekend. Much needed and I wish they were offered a little bit more often in contests. Some good coin in there, too. Not the easiest one to max (most factions are left scrambling today for the final few Braun shards), so the rewards could always have been a little better considering the restrictive scoring.
Superstar: Sounds like there was some tweaking based on early feedback to make the character better, which I definitely appreciate because you don't see that kind of tuning enough (more on that later) - good coaching ability makes up for the lack of tag links and probably helped sell this character in what is a one-time thing.
Solo Contest Methodology: Allowing players the chance to grind out a maxed solo contest is always much appreciated. I wish this happened more in the showdown contests where players could gain more points by just winning showdown matches, even after the contest superstars and showdown coins have run dry.
Negatives
Contest Superstar Confusion: At least on my game, the information about the contest superstars (CSS) for the solo contest was not made extremely obvious, forcing me to go into the superstars tab on the contest page to remind myself of the CSS. Even worse, the counter didn't update when I won a match with them, so if I had to take a break from feuding I had to do trial and error to double check when my contest superstars had run out. If I have to keep a tally with a pen and a notepad for my CSS, it's game design that could be improved.
It seems like every weekend event handles contest superstar information differently in terms of getting that knowledge in the player's eyeballs, and I honestly don't think there's been a single weekend where I thought the execution was done perfectly. However, this was one of the worst implementations in my opinion, just because it was not only obfuscated from players but also broken.
The Feud Experience: This is more of a meta commentary on the game at large, but WWE Champions is under siege by ridiculously strong characters, many of them with 1 or 2 MP moves or easily charged moves, that outshine and undermine 99% of the no-doubt hard work that has been put into this game by developers and, to a certain extent, players. I call these character "Day 1 characters" because if you had these characters on a fresh account, they would trivialize almost all of the content in the game from Day 1. Trickster Rock is probably the biggest offender here, but there's also Montez, zHHH, Keith Lee, etc. It makes for a frustrating feud (and showdown) experience when you see enough of them. Seasoned players have their methods for trying to handle them and even then the best answer to a lot of these superstars is to have them yourself. Which is easier said than done in a game built largely on excessive gambling. And when you're willing to tweak your shiny new superstars at the drop of a hat and do nothing for most of the other characters in this game that have been lost in the shuffle due to power creep, it's easy for this game's spell on players to break. You start asking the question, "What am I doing here?" a lot more.
Also, feuding has gotten a lot more miserable since the update. Now the ending of matches is telegraphed with a short loading screen that I assume marks the match as won/lost in the feud. While that can be exciting to see that screen when you feel victory is imminent, it's deflating to see that quick loading screen when defeat is on its way. Because there's no quitting out of a match early now - even when you press quit on the match because you know that you've been beat and you concede, the opponent still has to get all of their moves off (which in the case of a lot of zombies and recyclers is usually long enough to make your screen turn off) and must pin you before letting you leave the match. That's a lot of time lost and a potential for feud teammates to get impatient and try to do some lane jumping with the excessive time spent watching you lose. Just a note on these events: The double-edged sword of having a grindable solo contest means that most top players don't give a crap about putting up high scores against other factions. They just win matches by any means necessary, as quickly as possible, and move on. So while I'm sure this new "no quitting early" function was meant to provide a little more benefit to having a good defender in feud, it's mostly an annoyance that creates more player-vs-Scopely than player-vs-player.
Strowman Victory Tour: Tying up a lot of solo contest points in the victory tour was a misstep. I don't mind putting big resources in there, I think that's the best victory you can offer, but putting all those contest points in there, when the point of the solo contest is to try and earn a chance at Strowman, was misguided. I would have at least appreciated a few more of the solo contest points going into the main tours.

I actually enjoyed this one as well.
The rewards for the milestones in the solo component we much better than we have been receiving lately, and attainable if it did involve a lot of a grind - however it required running totally non traditional feud rosters that a lot of people missed.
The tour was a bit frustrating as you added any B.S. as the bonus character, then restricted it to strikers only.
For the feud itself my only criticism would be that even though I do not have Volkoff myself it seemed odd that he was required, and at 5s, to fill the middle row and yet in no way benefited from the row bonus

I was glad I could get through the event, but all that for a 'grand prize' of gear that takes 5% less damage - not exactly a great prize.
While I may not have been able to use all of the bonuses, it would have been nice to have some bonuses using characters that identify as LGBTQ+ or who are vocal supporters of the movement throughout the year, nut just during June.

I feel that tying the new character contest to a feud requires being a pay-to-play (PTP) player in order to achieve the final half-dozen milestones. This is demonstrated by having only 1M contest points available from feuding itself, which is only 10% of the total points needed to max the event. The associated tour doesn’t offer enough points to make a significant contribution to the milestones when considering that the bonus players required for the bonus points are amongst some of the rarest wrestlers in the game. Unless you’re willing to spend large amounts of real-world money on a regular basis, of course. I have no issue with offering extra benefits for the PTP players; they deserve it for the money that they’re willing to spend. It just seems unbalanced that non-PTP players can realistically gain only about 40-50% of the total points necessary for maxing the event.

As the game evolves to the 5SG characters upgrades, the fast pace picks up with these contests. I have been playing the game since it came out and as a faithful player, I think more and more tours need to be added like the Royal Rumble tour that was recent. Kickback tours are nice incentive to get some resources and the coin has been pretty fair for rewards in the latest weekend event Strowman express feud.
Yes there is some form of lag but with a community of millions, I’m sure it’s hard to keep the servers running perfectly all the time.
look forward to continuing to smash gems

It's a good contest. The targets for rewards are realistic enough to keep playing as sometimes it seems impossible to reach the target. The competitors in the challenge are defeats less as well. Again, sometimes the last contest is practically impossible to win without spending all your dollars to stay in the match.
One note on gameplay on the contest and whole game actually. Since the last update, when opponent is on zero energy and the bar is complete, it used to perform a finisher or signature move automatically and go.to the winning pinfall but now it just does a big right hand or series of punches and a roll up. This makes the gameplay slightly less realistic.
Overall, it was a very good contest I thought.

this event was similar to most other weekend events which is to say starting to get boring

The event was great as there was many players who got Braun Strowman but I was not lucky that time to achieve him but overall contest was great.
Thing to improve :- I think the final milestone contains 10,000,000 which is not achievable for many players therefore lower the milestone so that many players can enjoy that moment.
Thanks.
