It was just like it normally was to be honest. Would be nice if you could go global on any level for the factions that have younger players with out requirements. I myself got close to obtaining him. I'd trade my 1400 shards for a 2sb version of him. Only given out after the mlc is over of course.

Making faction boss an actual faction contest I think was a nice touch. It was a big help for underpowered accounts grow with the faction better. Only thing I would have changed was putting shard bags back in the tours. Not sure why it was a good idea to take them out to begin with, but it felt like premium character shards were fewer and farther between than normal. Free Fiend and Firefly Funhouse Gear was a nice touch, just wish Fiend or even NFOF Bray got a rework to be at least viable in the current meta.
PS: Give Mherex that last King Macho shard so he can recruit him

In principle I did not mind the return of a companion Faction Competition for Faction Boss. This yielded an interesting challenge for factions to still max the Boss Battle quickly while balancing the need to prioritize IOW promoters and then get the Contest Superstar bonuses finished. It also surely served its purpose to fundamentally increase activity during the event and keep people logged in.
What I did mind was that you added the 1,000 points for beating Level 23 tiebreaker without mentioning it in the blog, which fundamentally changed our overall strategy to compete for a Top 10 finish (which we originally thought would just be impacted by using our IOW trainers for additional coins).
You also did not clarify the time that the Faction Event would end until it went live, which then was directly impacted by whether all players were awake in time to collect their Faction Boss Coins, which directly impacted the final Faction Event Leaderboard.
It's frustrating that seven years into this game and you're still winging it when it comes to event details...and that there's no appreciation for how the lack of disclosing all important information in the blog impacts how we play. Constantly falling back on "subject to change" is not a suitable excuse...it's just unprofessional and a sign of extremely careless work.

Enjoying the characters for this event right now and the nod to the 80s/90s. They give an old school feel to new players. I just wish they wouldn't have made it so difficult to upgrade and obtain said characters. It seems like each event it becomes harder and harder. As a midrange player I still enjoy playing the the challenges. Can't wait to see what's next.

Boss battles use to be fun but the last few boss battle events have been less enjoyable and the last one made me participate much less as it was not rewarding for myself or for my faction.

I hated that High Roller Loot. $300 to possibly get only shards?! You should be guaranteed superstars spending that kind of money.
I miss being able to grind and get a new character. Now I can spend hundreds of dollars in a weekend and still fall short by hundreds of shards.
My constructive criticism is do away with the high Roller Loot unless you are removing the shards. Also make it possible to max the contests without spending hundreds. It’s bad enough that the majority of players can’t get the contest character. Atleast make it possible to get the resources and make the resources worth it.
Also do not lose sight of what made this game fun. I have loved this game since its inception and have played it almost exclusively since. I know that you make good money from pulls and stuff but people spent because they enjoy the game but you are taking away the joy of playing when people know that there is no way to be sure that your hard work or hard earned money pays off.

I believe the rewards are good and the only real disappointment I have is how all your solo points where tied to a faction event and if you weren’t in a top faction with all the right superstars you don’t even get close to maxing faction then with out them points you missed out on anything good in the solo events.. I would like to see where you can make a room but only ppl or era that you set can join the room.

i really like the retro vibe but still find a few characters being required in a boss battle to be frustrating. It puts a large burden on a few players in a faction and i would like to see more viable options in boss battle or perhaps even perks to help some of the other characters do well rather than the same 1-2.
I liked the faction point contest but wish this was in addition to a solo contest for completing boss battles as well.

I liked the tours, not the new bb format. I loathe bb to begin with, so having to do more of it was tiresome. The loot pulls were terrible, with the odds of getting anything good, even in the high roller loot, were far too low. I watched far too many people do the max pull in high roller only to get about 200 shards of Bray, no posters of anyone in the guaranteed spots. And can we please get rid of 4s posters in paid loot?

Pros first:
Prizewall seemed improved. Still was limited if you wanted to grab shards of someone but for the most part you could get enough currency as a ftp to grab something mid-tier besides econ.
Changing the css was a change of pace. Kept an open mind about it. (See Cons)
Muscle Man Bray is well designed and a really good poster for the game in the current meta. Value to recruit Bray unless you got lucky in a milestone bag or early pull seems about right for what he is.
Everything else was pretty spot on with blog aside from the shards miscalculation, but you made the right in the end for everyone.
Cons:
Requiring css of way older posters against newer or high level opponents is getting old. Unless you had HoF HHH, or Muscle Man Bray, or Monster Bomb Braun Strowman, you're not likely beating a 6 star opponent on the final boss nodes of the hell modes of tours. That is unless you are someone with way too much econ on their hands and took showboat Fiend or striker Braun up to 6ss prior. Which most normal players wouldn't have and won't unless they get a rework. Otherwise we're just catering to mostly the spenders still who got the premium posters prior.
Speaking of reworks, I would suggest if we keep having older posters as css in future events like this, then roll a rework just prior or at the same time or the final boss in hell modes need to be toned down just a tad.
After playing the faction boss, I found I didn't like the changeover of css to a faction contest as much as I first thought. In totality the faction I'm in maxed it fine so no complaints there, but thinking about the overall player base I felt that unless you were in a top 40 faction, this really didn't suit the lower end factions and player base well at all who won't have that many css as the higher factions, and not enough within the faction would be able to play boss over and over again to max the tasks. So it definitely segmented the factions and player base quite a bit to where I'm sure many didn't play as much as others.
I personally feel we should have both a solo and faction css requirements for future faction boss events. Split the css requirements up, with the more broad requirements like era or class that has more choices be in a faction contest that gives lower factions a better chance to score and do something together to achieve some of the mid milestones, while more specific character css should be solo contest to get the higher players to the first couple bonus milestones without spending.
So mixed bag on this faction boss overall to me.

Some of the event thing like yours was annoying, however w props you could get by.
the faction boss setup, in my opinion was a little better than normal. It made it feel like you had to work as a team to get done what needed to be done. I was more engaged in the game than normal boss battle. Instead of just doing 2-3 bonus characters and 4 24’s and being done, u had to grind as a team. I understand the frustration some had, fit it felt more like an entire faction contest

I felt that this weekend was more horrible than any other week. The shards were almost non existent. You guys had to rush to put out the last 75 shards to unlock. The format of the boss battle was horrible, you had to depend on your teammates and most importantly you guys had us use characters that need serious revamping. Braun is so trash that unless you have him as a PH, you couldn't finish the tours. I also felt that the new bray was way too overpower that with the red move you couldn't beat him. In previous tours you would make each tour a different move set, all 3 modes. Easy, Normal and Hell were the same and I couldn't pass it. I was so disappointed not to be able to get this new bray. You guys also need to chill on the price of these characters. there is no way I need to spend 300, to get 7 featured with a higher chance of not getting the new characters. My recommendation stop this whole odds thing by adding trash characters. I'd be more happy to spend if I didn't see the same common characters. I have so much shards that it seems like I am just throwing money to the trash and get the same common character.
I do appreciate the free fiend with the firefly costume, and even if I didn't get the gems thanks for making unavailable plates available to purchase.

I thought this event was great. I really liked the change of having the goals be faction based instead of solo requirements. It really brought the whole faction together and made a lot more people active during Boss Battles than they usually are.
These tours were fun too. I had to come up with some pretty creative ways to win matches with the Fiend and Strowman Express. It was very satisfying to win the 6 star matches.
One complaint is that the new Bray wasn't more obtainable. I saw many people do the 120 loot pull only to come out of it with about 200 bray shards. It seriously deterred me from even attempting that big of a pull.
I hope that this format change for boss battles continues in the future. Good Job!

This is more a general statement but pertains to this event as it was my first week. It is disheartening as a new player getting so many items that cannot be used. If possible I would recommend not allowing newer players/people who do not have the ability to use them to get them. I am not sure if this is possible or not, but as a new player it was very confusing getting so many things and not knowing what they were for. Luckily discord helped answer my questions, but I could see it disheartening newer players as they get confused.
Love the game thus far otherwise.

I really liked the change to the Boss Battle this weekend. I'm much preferred the new faction contest over the solo. Having everyone worked together. I think really works a lot better than just grinding out. The same solo matches all the time. When it was just the solo contest, I would not have about half the superstars required but in the faction event. We had everyone, so we all work together to get it done. Be on that having the points be grindable was also very nice so we could work away at that.
For prize while items I would like to see lesser amounts of shards available so that at least I could work away at the people I don't have. The short amounts and prize tokens required were all higher than what I had. So I had to just go with tokens, which is okay to help build my roster, but it's also nice to work long term to try to get somebody new and who would really help me.
The tours were very challenging. I was lucky enough to complete the three matches and get those tokens. I like this edition to also be able to get something by either winning 1, 2 or all three matches. I hope this kind of thing is always there with boss battles it added something extra to it.

I generally prefer the change to boss battle by making it a faction contest. I would only suggest a tweaking of the tasks and points. The way it was this past weekend was way too grindy. Having to use the same posters over and over and over again the EXACT same way can really become tedious. Adding more variety of CSS could keep the weekend interesting.
Giving the Fiend away was a nice thing to do and free medallions are always welcome.
The tours were fairly tough this weekend, which I guess makes sense with a skill plate being a reward. More of that, please.

The concept of a faction event in terms of boss seems really good, the execution seems way off. It’s good that since the tasks are common, people not having a 6ss can also contribute but that wasn’t the actual case
1. CSS like PH Sami, LA Knight are very rare and hardly 5-10 people in the entire faction have such characters, 100 matches with them on level 23 boss feels a bit outstretched
2. CSS can’t really take on the boss like PH sami hardly does any significant damage to a lvl23 boss which means that there has to be one very hard hitter and assuming that someone can T1 the boss it takes around 5 min per match and with 100 matches for each CSS which 5-10 people out of 100 have and 1-2 are playing equates to 10 hours of non-stop grinding in an ideal scenario not my idea of a fun weekend, especially even after all that we couldn’t get even 50 matches done and didn’t reach anywhere close to final 5 milestones
3. The boss abilities were set very hard, a shield that can’t be broken by shield breaker means one dedicated character is required to break the shield who can’t really do anything else, and followed by a freeze and a boss that heals up was essentially a proper lock where we couldn’t do anything, unless each and every character was just right, which again leaves out the scope of doing matches with CSS
4. Premium currency requiring CSS is fine but solo points towards contest deemed as “free” requiring characters like Braun and Bray (elimination chamber champion tour) which hardly have 1 usable variant which is again either chase or pay only limits the ability to even reach the final “free” milestone
5. High roller loot- I just am not spending $300 and not getting a guaranteed character I want, this also automatically means that the odds of normal $100 loot are way worse and that means I would not and in fact did not do a single pull (except the ones that came in the weekly pack)
Possible solutions according to me
1. Have 20-30 matches with CSS at level 23 instead of 100, 100 at lvl 15 -18 seems fine
2. Put characters that can actually contribute to defeating boss as CSS (like DLO brown instead of PH sami)
3. Slightly lower the boss abilities like having a shield that can be taken down by boss breakers allows much more players to participate, or have either of move freeze or health regen and not both
4. Have CSS which are F2P or near F2P instead of characters only 10-20 ppl have
5. Stick to the individual format instead of a faction one
6. A high roller loot that gives one guaranteed premium character at 6ss from a limited pool (like SB taker, Carmelo and bray) with no shards of F2P characters
As I said above this was not at all an enjoyable event (has great potential though) and this seemed to be a very exclusionary event unless the target audience was only top-5 factions then it was bang on. It also meant that I knew I would never get the chase (since I couldn’t even get last 4 milestones of BB I usually do) and so this is first in last 8 weekends that I didn’t spend, and if the format continues to be so I would gladly sit the BB out and not spend at all

Boss battle has been the most fun when it comes to strategizing, but this faction contest was not it. Completely restricted who you could use to advance in contest and turned it into way too much of a grind.
Now the new Bray character himself, his guaranteed sub reversal move is dumb. There’s an escape artist plate for trying to break subs early. And all the reversal moves are ridiculous, you put the option of cooldown turns yet they’re all 1 turn. Might be better if there actually was cooldowns, or if they only worked when the moves were charged. Another reason the sub reversal makes no sense, the move wouldn’t be fully charged. Big miss here

Best boss battle game play I've had to date!
Biggest takeaway for me was LOVING that it was a FACTION CSS Event and not a Solo CSS. It was nice to work as a faction and play more matches than the normal weekend when it's a solo CSS. I also was pleased that the BOSS was not overpowered (I presume this was intentional, since as a faction we had to play a lot of matches!).
I liked the way you did the special prize wall for elimination chamaber tokens (max of 3). I liked how each one was tied to a specific poster if you could beat the Hell Mode tour opponent. Having something outside the normal PW currency is fun.
Normal Prizewall - i wish you would cut down the medallions needed to get shards for higher end posters. Instead of getting 100 Sherri shards for 21K - how about an offer for 50 shards for 10K.
Loot pull successful odds seemed really really bad. I watched way to many Content Creators do the High Roller loot and get awful stuff, way to many 4 stars duplicates, should have been more 5 stars pulled for fuses or better shards.
Bray Muscle Man is a beast - great design and love the new Anti-Sub move.

I just wanted to say thank you for another version of Bray, he was taken from us way too soon, and I know everyone misses him! Unfortunately i wasn’t able to get him in the event because the specific wrestlers you required to get bonus stuff were far too weak to beat the boss.
Maybe down the road you can make it more achievable for newer players because they feel left out in these events, because they know their wrestlers are too weak. Also maybe instead of using 2,000 shards to get him at 4 star, maybe you could have it so for people who didn’t get 2,000 but have 1,000 can use their shards and get a 3 star, they would just have to work harder to get them to 6 star.
Unfortunately i didn’t get Bray but hopefully I’ll be able to get him another time, thanks again for bringing Bray back and giving us The Fiend for free, it really means a lot!!

First I like to say Rip To Bray Wyatt his new card is my favorite trial.
Faction competition was challenging to getting 200 wins was a little too much
Limited time tours was fair except for the Hall of fame HHH, but I did have him but others didn't.
Great faction boss New Bray is the best striker in the game and his reverseal is amazing.

This contest was unique in that it focused on the faction working together to get prizes instead of individual achievements, which I prefer doing the milestones individually for those who are not in a faction that can get all the rewards. I think a future contest where it's a global contest to get the featured superstar is something that would be great for not only seasoned players, but also let's those players help the community add some rare characters to their rosters that they may not ever receive .

This past boss battle was very laggy, and the new scoring system stinks. Being faction based. It was alot better when my personal activity helped me achieve better rewards, NOT RELYING ON OTHER (THE FACTION) TO BE ACTIVE. PLEASE GO BACK TO THE OTHER REWARD SYSTEM

1 according to event was just fine but think that quantity of shards was just lower then previous events shards pattern

3 timings start of boss battle event was to bizzare for south asian players scopley must need to do something about that we need to woke up for whole midnight to play boss battle.
4 the medallions was bit on the lower side and the Prizewall requirements are way to high. I knew that its a business but still sometime everyone need equal opportunities to get something good from prizewall and for that we need a good amount of medallions.
5 i saw on Facebook and in other community that few players also got free 14 pulls and bray shards from rewards section of portal but not all everyone in community needs to have equal access of the portal rewards.

New faction event instead of individual is not good,In before event I collected all individual points from faction boss event but this time I have only collected 3 milestone individual points so plz make individual event again in next faction boss

To be honest it was planned for better but got it worst.
Faction boss contest should features faction contest. But the planned faction contest was almost as bad as it could be. Taken all the fun for boss battle.
- solo contest like past should be there to make low roster enjoyable again
- 120 pulls was nice for all the whales, but for some one who can't afford that much spending, it was a pass...
- looking at some social media posts, 120 pulls not giving good rewards which need to be corrected for future planing. Probably add 6ss as guaranteed pulls of some rare superstar there.
- faction contest required lots of grinding with few rare characters. Add more characters and less matches with high points for future as it is one day event and players are form different parts of the world. So timing was the main issue there.
- medallions given was not enough to buy anything worthy. Pls do makeover there.
-New bray wyatt is awesome to have. Thanks for making him that good.
- Pls revamp fiend version also to current meta. He deserves makeover more than anyone in Game.
- Tours were okay, no need any special change to them, pls add more bags in tours for card or shards

It was great to see Bray brought in the game (assuming WWE and his family consented) as he truly is a legend. Loves the Muscle Man gimmick, his poster and everything about him was excellent.
Tours were fine although the Strowman challenges were difficult, it would have been nice if it was 'any Strowman' but that's by-the-by.
Boss battle then... people have mixed views on boss battle, its not my favourite game mode but I'll happily play it. What isn't fun about boss battle is mindlessly grinding, I think the change to the points scoring made this weekends events one of the least fun, I can understand maybe wanting to change up the scoring but all the change did was force a ridiculous number of carries in a lot of factions. I think the original points scoring was much better and less tedious, or at the least change it to how the superstar competition lr warscore event works in feud where we individually complete a task a day then points help the faction, rather than grinding 100s of matches over and over.
It would be great if you have a view to changing the scoring method to maybe make it a community discussion, discuss why you want to change it so your player base can tell you why something does or doesn't work. I think the change this weekend d was massively frustrating for a lot of players.

Feedback for Muscle Man Bray Faction Boss
- New Bray is amazing, an interest take on this Bray where it's taken from an actual version of the character and turned into a Legends Era, I think similar to this concept you can definitely do a lot more with other characters, like Mr. America Hulk Hogan.
- Enjoyed the Trial Character where it seems 1 moveset was all that was needed to clear everything.
- The Boss Battle was a nice challenge where even thought it wasn't easy it required a bit of strategising to actually win.
- I didn't realise until after playing this was purely a faction based event so that means it's hard for some to pull their weight and scoring points means making sure the people who have the characters for CSS are the ones you want to work towards getting matches done in order for the whole faction to benefit. Not sure if I like this method but hopefully after some trial and error we can see this refined. Personally, putting points behind the new character is a very sly move considering the amount of points the new character, which essentially means factions are forced to try and pull the new weekend character if they're to benefit from scoring points.
- The prizewall is again scaled upwards where the good shards are beyond reach for those who don't spend. Glad I could still walk away with HOF Vader Shards.
- Being shorted 75 shards is such a slap in the face considering people need the character to score points, surely such an error cannot be made if people are relying on shards to recruit the character. Such mishaps only pisses off the community even more.
- Giving out the Pity the Fool Plate is a nice giveaway for the community along with Fiend + Gear, with a bit of strategising it wasn't all too bad.
Overall this Faction Boss had a slight deter from the usual copy paste event so will have to let that take time to see whether this change is good or bad.
