I have seen enough.

Take in to consideration the following aspects currently going on.

The majority of the player base have jobs. Unless you live east of the Mississippi, most players are not around at general reset to start playing SD with energy timers and start with a disadvantage. Scopely is based in California and I bet those that have jobs there aren't available to stop working and play the SD event without taking "bathroom " breaks.

Expectations of those people to buy energy is pointless because there are better things in game to spend it on during the weekends when people can actually play.

Add to the fact the midweek has requirements that, in general, make you waste energy or even worse, resources that could be spent on better superstars. "Do X amount of damage with this card, win battles with that card that isn't leveled, aren't enjoyable at all which just creates frustration with the game which leads to less spending and a desire to leave the game completely.

Mid week events like SD should cater to the player base that has limited time to play and less stressful requirements. There is enough stress these days and people play games to relieve stress.

Happy players play and spend more, not the ones that are stressed out and frustrated with the product.
