Bring back the +1mp feud perk

Being a competitive feuder for a number of years. I have built my roster in a way so that characters I have spent real life money on and enjoy using can win in a timely manner. +1mp in feud has been standard in the format for a number of years so we build our roster on the premise that we can start with at least 6MP with a standard +4mp trainer. The average player won’t have access to anything else outside of those basic trainers so they’re screwed and now swiping a few times before they can do anything . Why change something that wasn’t broken?

i understand you want variety in the game and that’s totally fine. Variety helps keep the game fresh. I do feel very strongly that feud perks should at the very least have +1 starting MP. It’s a perk to have your top characters loaded to win as quickly as possible. We already have showdown and boss battle where we don’t start with any extra MP (unless a tag link which can rarely be used due to the class/era requirements a lot of the time)

if you wanted variety why not just change up the existing perks we had? Rather than copy and paste them each month, keep the core perks of +mp/+gem generation. Change the bonuses around each new MLC. The -10 purple mp and -100% purple gem damage already hurt enough of the top cards in the game. For every other card to lose another 1mp is salt in the wound .


so many characters have taken a hit by starting with only 5MP if you can’t fill a feud lane or don’t have a 17k Santa Hogan. Yes you can add more MP trainers onto them but then that takes away their optimal set ups making them less viable and effective.

There are only so many MP trainers in the game and affiliation straps aren’t exactly accessible. Only via RNG.

a lot of players will potentially pass on chasing a character if they can’t win efficiently in feud due to the chances of them being available/useful to use in showdown/boss are slim.


feud is the only game mode where we have open slots to use the fun characters that we want to use. This keep the game fun for most and that’s what it’s all about. If we’re constantly forced to use characters we don’t want to use then the game becomes less fun and as a result you lose players.

TLDR - please bring back +1mp for feuds.

    I agree, the minus 1 mp heavily negates a large portion of my feuding roster and will discourage me playing the game as currently feud is my favorite game mode but if I'm restricted as to who I can use effectively I lose a lot of the fun aspect and my willingness to commit time to something that feels like a chore

    Please Scopely, I liked the precious perks as it had effect on all superstars, especially with the perk which starts all move by 3mp but now the perks only work on certain superstars which one may or may not have.

    I completely agreed with the above from Lukeario as Im sure alot of the top tier players wil as well you should definitely should be keeping the core perks of +mp/+gem generation there is no need to change these, like for me I personally was looking forward to using Zombie Gunther this feud and now with the current restrictions i cannot ( at least with the moveset I would use) please change it back the feud perks to the way they were Why change something that was not even broken or complained about

  • Agree to those comments there should be mp perks and not just plus one for line bonus everything was perfectly fine before this change now there’s really no point in push characters to do the brawls anymore or to even use real money to try to get them so yeah not a good move at all company wise to customers

    I agree with these comments. This change in feud perk ruins most megas. Feud is the only thing I actually like in this game and you are ruining it.

  • How about just a clear all from the fued page or a remove character seems like a no brainier instead of moving people all over the place to get them out of your lineup a nice little remove button would be nice.

    1,000,000% agree with @Lukeario23 on this! You have created a standard of +1 for feuds, changing it when we have spent time and real money building cards around it is not fair.

    This is one thing that I don't think I've heard anyone actually complain about. Why change it? Don't fix stuff that isn't broken. There are plenty of broken mechanics to deal with instead.


    I'm also going, again, to beat the dead horse. Major changes, like this, deserve advance notice. Why, why, why is communication to the community so hard for y'all? A change like this isn't a simple delete button, it been being worked on for a while, why not let us know it's coming?

    Tough one.. I will be the first to admit perks do need to be changed up now and then.. however their is no real perk here. a move boost and a sub boost.. and minus MP and purple gems do no damage.. thus leaving half of most people's rosters barely useable.

    All this is gonna do is make the gap at the top and bottom bigger..

    That being said I'm prepared to wait it out Abit longer and see what you have in store for flash feud perks.

    Biggest issue is right now you've had this in the works.. and their was no oh by the way we are gonna be changing feud perks next month or in a few weeks. You just dropped it with no notice.

  • Highly disappointed on feud Perks change and feud medilans or coins we achieve like 3 coins but prize wall good stuff will be like 3+ coins it's highly disappointed .

    Don’t get me wrong, appreciate the new ideas to keep the game fresh. But this one just straight out sucks. Some people struggle maxing the feud event and obtaining a 50million total score. Now imagine trying to max when matches will be taking longer, you won’t start loaded anymore, doing less damage, restricting who they can use to gain only a black move/sub bonuses!? I don’t think we need to wait out the month to tell you this change sucks..

    There was nothing wrong the way it was. You claim to listen to the community and what they want then do the right thing and throw this change in the trash forever. I am 1000% positive nobody in the community suggested they wanted this. Stop ruining the game by trying to restrict who we can use. We build our rosters off of who we like and who is good. It feels like you do these things purposely just to piss the people off who pay for your jobs. STOP this nonsense and fix it.

    I'd expect to see a couple months of this style to give people some exposure to see how people like the variety.

  • Change in fued perks is terrible idea with the mp +or - i understand trying to keep things fresh that's what the line bonus and character bonus is for. People spend real money to build the roster a certain way to compete in fued and you basically make certain choices nonexistent.

  • I’m in 100% agreeance with Luke, I’ve spent a crap load of time building a feud roster and then you guys go and pull this. What’s the point anymore? If you value us has players you’d stip screwing around with the game all the time.

    You started a few weeks ago with the showdown energy and now you’re taking away our starting mp. Not only is it unfair to us has veteran players but what about the new players??

    It’s sad to say that I’ve spent thousands on this game (unfortunately) to get my roster where it is. I’ve probably been playing close to 6 years and this just might be the final straw for me! If it’s not broke don’t fix it damn it!!!

    I'm all for variety and keeping things fresh but there's different strategies to go about it. Last few months we've seen attempts to switch it up through forced requirements in boss battle, SD which has taken a lot of fun away from those game modes.

    Now taking away the +1mp boost in feud, which seasoned players treated as a baseline really boggles my mind. How could this be adding any value to the game? For starters it negates the blatant fact that superstar move charges in big part define their tier and worth (real life money spent too). 90% of top tier characters released in the last 5 years had movesets designed around the premise of being ready to unleash damage from the get go i.e. extra starting mp in feud and tours.

    If the devs want variety, a smarter way IMO is to give us strong enough boosts/incentive (PERKS!) that would convince us to use less popular superstars rather than forcing down our throat stuff that makes us dread the game.

    The +1 start Mp are really missing.

    Even the - 10 MP are fine, so a couple of characters are not available for feud, that's OK. But the lack of starting mp is making most Charakter either less powerful, or even useless.
