AWESOME contest! Finally you did it right:

    a) grind way: grind, spend your time in game and you will get the solid reward

    b) spend some money and you will have your rewards easily

This is how things should going: everyone have a chance, not only people who spend real money.

I was spend around 12$ and get my Rocky Balboa. But, I would take him even without this 12$.

Thank you Scopely! You are care about free-to-play gamers!

What about idea of this contest, I’m not a fan. But, yes, we all need to move forward and do something new.

Overall, I’m not a fan of the Rocky franchise, but I do like that you are trying something new.

Overall I think this was a great event.. one thing that sucked is u legit had to spend $800-1000 the perfect way to get tech rocky Ik only a few ppl that got him..

The other thing that isn’t fun is clicking the same thing over and over to get all the items.. some sort of slider would be nice. That really has nothing to do with this event but would be a huge help..

overall I think this event was actually really fun and I don’t see much to be mad about

I think that the rocky event was the first time that they put people over profit. It still benefits the spenders, but doesn't leave our the person who doesn't have money. The only criticism that I have is make the odds a little better to get a wrestler you don't have when you spend. Overall nice work

So, I have to say. After this Rocky event, I think it’s safe to say this was the best F2P (mainly) event we’ve had in quite a long time. A little grinding got you Clubber and Striker Rocky, and the ability to replenish your resources. (For the F2P community). If you spend, or happen to be in a faction where players spend, Apollo was pretty easy to attain too.

I say all that to say, I think we should come together as a community and show our gratitude to Scopely. I think an overwhelming positive response could push them to run similar events from time to time. (You can’t expect them to do it every single event.)

I've been playing since pretty much the beginning, this is, hands down, the best event that WWE Champions has ever had.

2 new cards, for free, with a little grinding. Win!

Paid element, for those that wanted to spend. Win!

The loot, although still not great odds, was really good and landed me 4 beware cards. Win!

Staying in the paid portion for one second, the loot was really good, loved the tag boxes. Again, the odds are still not worth pulling 99% of the time, but there was enough in there, this time, along with additional rewards from buying on portal and the rewards from the Apollo Spend Event, that it was worth it, to me, this time.

The restrictions for the SD were ok. Didn't care for the Women's defensive restrictions, but also didn't need to play that many women's matches because I had already almost maxed.

Boss Battle was ok. Springing the 6S restrictions without warning really put a hit on factions being able to max. I really wish changes like this would be communicated to the community in advance. I know you're a Gacha game, but this felt more like Got Ya. Quite frankly, the non-communicated changes happen far too often.

Overall this event was great, there is room for improvements, but still very happy with it. I hope to have more like it regularly.

    G'day,

I enjoyed the Rocky event. I was able to obtain 3 of the 4 new cards.

Compared to the Ghostbuster Event where I only obtained 1 of 5.

    Best event since HoF month.

    Thanks,

    Yo Joe

I must politely disagree with part of your post. I'm sure Scopely knew that people who normally spend were going to feel pressured to spend more to help their respective factions hit the next milestone. Also this caused others who didn't normally spend much to spend a little more and to guilt players who are strictly F2P to spend something.

That said those of us who can and did stick to our budgets inspite of the temptations of all the shinny toys being dangled simultaneously, did make out rather well. Followed up by this Kurt Angle HOF event which has been very F2P friendly without what I feel is the attempted peer pressure to spend.

What I disagree with you on is congratulating Scopely on this. In fact it's my thinking that giving Scopely the our displays of gratitude is only served to be used against us in future marketing. For instance the newest MP skill plates. I know Scopely can look at the numbers to see how many of them we all obtained but what is really important to them is the posts and comments in the community exclaiming how much we desired certain ones over others and how hard it was for us to choose between some of them. Now they have a baseline to put an actual real world financial value on them for future reference and can also release cards that will be even more dependent on the new skill plates that they can now advertise to those of us who have plates a,b and c. While putting plates d,e,and f out after being priced accordingly.

I guess my point is that while it's good to be appreciative of these past couple of events and the resources that we have earned in what ever way. I don't think it's wise to give the powers that be any type of free data that they can eventually use to just keep us spending.

I know that's not exactly what you stated in your post I've just had this thought before and reading your post prompted me to just lay it all out. I hope you and anyone reading this understands what I'm saying. No one really likes to give something away for free, especially a business that is there to make a profit.

Scopely already has all the data that they need to show which plates are more desired, which should be offered, and specific costs. The forum is also read by the events team to gather good and bad feedback to improve contests where it’s possible. As a business there will always be a bottom line, but specific feedback about what was good from the event drives later content where the capability to make changes comes into play

Liked the character and events (except for faction feud). Probably enjoyed more as bought character for first time in a long time.

    if I hadn’t I imagine it would’ve been a bit of a slog.

Had connection issues with faction feud and not enjoying the new way that feuds now go ahead.

    Generally good event I reckon.

One of the better events for quite some time, although I feel like there was a missed opportunity in not requiring the Rocky characters to be used in more of the events.

Still upset days, weeks, months later.. over 500k of the store currency didn’t get to be spent.. please let me do something with it

  • This event had great intentions, it would have been better if all the characters were more obtainable. Also please please please recycle ♻️ 🙏 and or remove old inventory. It's pointless and it's taking up space. Thank you in advance.
