How to MAX MLC solo and get chase character!

Hi folks! The following are not any set rules, but mere guidelines to successfully max your solo event in the MLC and also to get the chase character. Each month is different and some things might change or be different from this post. So remember, this is a generic post which is subject to change every month.
As a new month long event arrives, here’s some things to keep in mind:
1. The first thing to do is check the blog for details about the event. Even though it is always “subject to change” you will get a good idea of what to expect overall.
2. Have a look at the list of the guys required in tours based on the blog or the intel channel. Some months they give us all the characters, but most recently, they give it to us week by week. So do the best with the info we can get.
3. If possible, check how many required fighters you have and how many are between 3ss to 3sg (normally a 3sg can clear hell mode if played with props and igc). Some tours have talent way higher or lower. In the cases they are lower be thankful. In the cases they are much higher, leave them till the end to see if you really need whatever reward you would get from beating them.
4. Setup a list of guys you can work on, keep them ready to be level up and evolve for the coin/evolve and tp events. IF there's a situation where you have to use tp outside of an event, try using shards first if available.
5. If this month long is running as it usually does, look to see when the coin/evolve and tp events are. If there are times they run together, then double dip so you’re not wasting one or the other. In the past few months the tp event ran for a week and the coin/evolve events were 2x a week. So try to plan to maximize your use for tp to be used on the fighters you want while also leveling and evolving them over both coin/evolve events for the week.
6. See if you can max out the month long character that you get for free. It gives a lot of points towards the month long solo events. If you are low on tp for the featured fighter, remember you can buy shards from the prize wall which are cheaper than the tp deals from the wall.
7. There are always a number of ways to score in the month long solo event. Make sure you are aware of all of them. Ex. Ingots, spending turnbuckles, levelling the featured character, etc.
8. Have a look at your VIP level. If you have VIP 11 or higher you don’t need to worry about 3 starring all the nodes on normal and hard. Take this into account before levelling up characters. Check to see if the nodes you want to beat on hell mode are single or tag matches. If they are tag matches, your partner could be one of your stronger fighters, so all you really need to do is make it to a tag. This can save you coins, tp, and tokens.
9. Even though you may want to complete everything as soon as it’s released, don’t rush to finish all the tours if your fighters aren’t strong enough unless there’s a time limit or event to go with it. Sometimes you will find by the end of the event you didn’t actually need to clear everything. 10. When you find you do indeed need to face a match that doesn’t look promising, remember props and IGC can go a long way. As well, using Papa Shango as a trainer if he’s at 9k will give you and additional 50k of health.
11. Always max every coin/evolve and tp event.
12. You will understandable want to spend your hard earned ingots on the prize wall as soon as you get them. However, it’s better to wait until the end. Of course you may run into a situation where you really need something like shards or blitz tickets, etc., then of course getting those before the end makes sense. Saving them all till the end and seeing exactly how much you have and what’s available can help you maximize what you get and help replenish your resources for next month.
For P2P players - If you are willing to spend, of course it will make your life easier. If you plan on buying the 2 star or 3 star fuses at some point during the event, getting them right at the start gives you the most benefit. It’s not imperative to buy them, but in my experience if you do make these purchases it usually does help and gives the most benefit right from the get go.
BEST OF LUCK! 😁🥂
