How about a Trainer or Coach that can reduce countdown gem timers?

If a player puts down a countdown gem it is automatically reduced by 1, or more depending on level.

I think this may bring some life back to some older cards that have higher countdowns. Beth Phoenix comes to mind first, but even Z-Rey, Z-Dom, Z-Edge could benefit from it. It could also open up.some new movesets for.those cards.

Thoughts?

I think the issue with that would be those with 1 turn countdown gems. Most superstars have the reduction built into their move sets.

Fair point.

Even if it makes it a zero turn it could just go off immediately though. I don't know, just trying figure out a way to make the super high countdowns relevant

Yea, there is a few, I think character specific gears would help make balance.
