Why have 'Many Faced Loot Coins' been removed from Game Play

Has anyone else purchased the Many Faced Loot Coins deals on offers and gone to spend them in the game play but found them removed from Loot options? I just spent £100 and can't open the 40 Loot Coins I just purchased! Not very good from Scopely!
