Freemium gears for sale highlight the problem with the WWEC gear system

Obtaining gears is one of the most confounded things in WWEC (gear chips vs premium chips vs gear loot vs straight-up purchase vs Mile$tone Reward$). It's nice to see gear like Lawler's go on sale, but, it's also frustrating, as you guys tend to sell the formerly free/freemium gears for formerly free cards like this but rarely sell the newer gears for newer and rarer cards.

Can we get an overhaul on how we obtain gears? As it stands, you guys have all the pieces in place to make gear obtainable and profitable, and yet you don't use it!

If you're not going to flat out sell the new gears on a consistent basis, can you at least put the more recent gears in the gear loot? For dupe pulls, instead of regular gear chips that can only buy pathetic +50dmg gears , why not premium gear chips? Premium gear chips have never really been used effectively, so why not allow them to be used to obtain ALL the gears even if it's a ludicrous amount of chips? Better to make a ridiculous yet still attainable goal than gear simply being unavailable until you guys decide to sell them.

    normally even the rare gears for rare characters won't end up being sold in offers, those gears are typically only in superstar loot or rewards from event milestones and leaderboard and not meant to be obtainable any other ways.

    Thus my rant. Not meant to be obtainable any other ways = only meant to be attainable for a select few spenders, but everyone will spend and try.

    Spoiler: they won't.

    Leaving a lot of good money on the table by having most of these gears be unavailable and basically non-existent like this.
