Showdown coin payout during events

On weekends when an sd contest occurs, I usually get 50k+ in coins for the weekly reward because I'm in headliner 1. For some reason during the Baddest contest, I got 39k. Has there been a change?

The payout is based on participating in at least one normal showdown match during the week and the notoriety level you are in at reset
