"Stipulation Tour Adjustments

You may notice a popup with the recent update when trying to play a Stipulation Match indicating that the Pin Bar Freeze "Effect" on moves is disabled.

Please note that this is intentional and has been put in place throughout the entire mode for several reasons. Due to the turn-based nature of the game mode, this is intended to emphasize strategy, skill, and preparation instead of who has the patience to stay in the match the longest. It will also reduce crashes related to battle memory caused by longer battles.

This will NOT affect any game modes besides Stipulation Tour and Grand Tournament."

I'd like to point out that I'm extremely happy about every one of the changes with the R55 Changelog except this one. For example, let's take Purple Days.

How is it that Randy Savage The Macho King is going to be allowed to continue cheesing the Stipulation Tours every day when he doesn't create or destroy a single purple gem, yet I can't combat that with my No Pin Bar Freeze Effect with Mutant Cesaro?

Doesn't that also affect the turn-based nature of the game mode intended to emphasize strategy, skill, and preparation?

There are currently no further changes planned for the Stipulation tours or characters at this time,

Macho King currently requires you to turn/swipe to trigger his juggernaut gems and to trigger power gems and the stun just slows it down

The No Pin Bar removal was supported by the following dynamics

I appreciate the quick response, and I know/understand that Macho King's moves do not have "no pin bar" effect that Mutant Cesaro has from my example however that's not what I meant.

What I am saying is Macho's juggernaut gems and the power gems they produce cheese the stipulation tour via outputting damage points that cannot be achieved via the "normal" creation and destruction of the X color of the day even with promoters, plates, and whatnot which take away from the spirit of the stipulation tour.
