Yeah this was a fantastic resolution. Obviously some people will be unhappy with any solution out there. But there are two great things you did that I hope become the norm:

1) You communicated it well. You let us know it was unintended and you were looking into it. That’s way better than sitting around for days with no idea where things stand.

2) You resolved it in a positive way for all players. There was no “hey this group did x so we are going to take away something from them but reward others.” Everybody got the same compensation and the compensation was fair to match the error. The fact that people weren’t punished for playing the game is so refreshing.

Again, I know some people will be unhappy, but I really hope we as a community can come together and express our satisfaction with this resolution. If we are vocal about the things we like, I think we will be more credible when we discuss things we don’t like.

I must say I'm blown away. I did not think I would see the day we would get such an outcome but here we are.

A mistake happens. Honestly, *bleep* happens sometimes. We all know that. However, instead of dropping it, and sweeping it under the rug, it was handled accordingly.

Not only were the players able to benefit, but the compensation provided i think is grander than anything we've recieved previously, including those who could not participate in hell mode.

This is a win-win for everyone involved, including the game and the devs since they really didn't lose a single thing from it either.

I personally must applaud you on an amazing job well done. Mistakes happen. Communication happened, multiple times there-after, and a fix was implemented justly.

I'm very impressed with the compensation. I'm of course upset that it's still a hard 5 required to do hell mode but then again if it wasn't there would be alot more error here. The quickness on the correction as well as the compensation was very very well done.
