Stamp Card Suggestion...

If the stamp card thing that debuted with the Brock Friday portal event is going to be a permanent thing going forward, can you guys at least change the way milestones are earned?

The description states "spend a minimum of $9" to earn a stamp, when it's really every $9 (or $10) minimum spent gets one a punch on the stamp card. If it really was spend a minimum of $9, then every increment of $9 spent on the portal should afford a player a stamp on the card. Someone buys something on the portal worth $30, that should be 3 stamps punches, not just one.

I can't speak for anyone else but I know I don't like overspending and won't continue to just buy rubies to stay at the $9/$10 threshold for each purchase. If this isn't going to change then add more offers that are at the $9/$10 price point. Sometimes the lowest offers you guys have on the portal (outside of rubies) is at $19.99 and it just doesn't feel like a bargain to me to pay double the price just to get one stamp.

It won't hurt revenue on the portal if this was done because if someone is willing to spend $100 for a purchase on the portal, they are going to spend anyway. At least if they spend $100 instead of getting one stamp punch and wondering why isn't it more they are actually rewarded with multiple punches their purchase(s) should have paid for.

Thank you for the suggestion. I think its great and if you can get others to support it on this post it will definitely be noticed more.

  • Completely agree with everything he said. If you’re spending the money it should get stamped for the amount not each 9 purchase.

Yeah I'd really like to not only be able to buy 9.99 packs its so frustrating oh you got the 200 pack and one stamp I spent 50 and got them all or whatever number it is.

lost a few stamps due to over spending, it just makes me feel like i shouldn't buy anything thats over 10$ now, if you guys could make this a thing, it would really help out.

Agree with the above statements. Currently there is not even one $10 item in the features section. But there are $5 ones i wont buy cause i get no stamp. However there are multiple in the game. Why arent these $10 offers on the portal? I would be much more prone to buy ALL of them rathen than none. I dont want to buy in game cause i get no bonus. And i dont want to buy $20 packs on the portal cause now i feel they are wasted.

    Options to make better

    * offer $10 featured portal offers

    * give stamps per $10 spent

    * stamp for EVERY purchase

  • 100%. I like the idea. But it has me buying $10 deal instead of $100 deal. So seems like a net loss to me.

  • It would help if there was some $10 options to purchase. It would also make it easier if u could make a 1 time purchase that equals the total amount

I agree that the stamps should act similar to the milestones do on portal events. If I buy 2 items that are $5 offers, that should give me the benefit of the $10 purchase. Likewise, if I bought 1 $50 purchase, that should give the benefit of 5 items that are $10 each.

A simple solution to this would be to make all offers available in game be available through the portal as well as there are usually multiple offers within that price range.

Not to rain on the parade but considering the portal events work the way you say with a cumulative total, don't you think it's the whole point to have people do multiple transactions in the first place? otherwise it would've been done the same way or just wouldn't exist and just be another event instead ?

There would be nothing wrong with it if the stamp event was another cumulative spend event. There's already two on the portal weekly (bonus purchase events and ruby store events) so one more wouldn't break anything.

I think we all get the idea is for the player to make multiple transactions on the portal. What we have been saying however in making those purchases often times are way skewed in cost vs. rewards, especially if the player's lone concern is maxing the stamp event and nothing else.

Take the RIPPED-MAS Conspiracy stamp event that dropped today. It's $70 to max the event and receive all the rewards. I look at my portal store and (outside of rubies) currently there's only 1 - $10 offer there. Why isn't there more? Why for an event that requires a "minimum" $10 transaction per purchase we aren't given more options for $10 purchases beyond rubies.

If an event like that requires a minimum "x" amount of money be spent a set amount of times for completion then at the very least there should be offers at the base amount the player can purchase a set amount of times to complete the task. In other words with today's RIPPED-MAS Conspiracy stamp event, there should be at least 7 offers on the portal of $10 the player can purchase to complete the given task. But there isn't and therein lies the problem with many of us as it relates to the stamp events.

I want to max this stamp event, and I have no problem spending $70 to do so. Where I do have a problem is the additional $60 it would cost me max the event because the 2nd lowest offers for me to purchase in my portal store in order to complete the stamp event are all $20 each.
