VIP Blitz, Tours, really Everything VIP

Wanted to make a suggestion the team should absolutely make. To be fair, I am on a hot streak as you implemented a grind event for SD and didn’t touch the war score, but as we know… this is all subject to change.
Anyway, as mum always said to @MattSabre and me… land the airplane kiddo… land the airplane.
So a few years back, the team implemented this new concept called VIP. Basically the premise was to throw away your hard earned dollars, coins, currencies for a chance to really do something special. That included this other new game mode called a VIP blitz. Well the first two months, it was a grand ole time and the resources were actually worth it.
So fast forward to today…. 25 October 2021… or technically tomorrow if you’re living in the future like Sabre and I. Completing the blitz now gives you exactly 100k coins. That’s roughly taking someone from level 80 to 81. A single level. Ouch.
So here’s a list of suggestions:
- Change the ole VIP blitz to have vault tickets to coincide with your announcements about these super special straps so we can can start to use these old blitz tickets and get some value.
- Change the KOK tour to also include the vault tickets to coincide with your fancy new announcement
- Allow players to unlock and keep a VIP character if they have subscribed for a certain amount of days.
Let me leave you with a story. It was a cold January, the year was 1943, in a foggy ole basement in Leeds drinking cold porridge (spoilers bear loves porridge… that’s not a myth). Daddy came to Matt and me and said, “I am leaving to get a pint of milk”. Mum told us things would change that night and we were oh so nervous. She said, “boys… change can be scary, but trust the process and no one will die”. Daddy never came back even to this day as we celebrated Mat’s 84th birthday last week still without milk. He dunked his Oreos in a glass of lukewarm water. We made it and the world is a better place.
With that, I would encourage the development team to embrace change and look into implementing those suggestions above.

I approve this message. Let's make VIPs feel like actual VIPs again. With milk and everything.
While we're suggesting changes to VIP, here are some points to compliment @TheBear41 's excellent post.
- KOK tours, especially hell mode, need a serious overhaul. The rewards from the tours really aren't a good look in todays game. Where's the velvet rope? Seriously, throw in an emerald token or something more decent than diamonds. Nobody cares about diamonds anymore. Not even Neil Diamond.
- Make a new Icon available with shards from the tours and Dx Vault. The move to include IOW straps is a very good one, let's get someone new and shiny to work towards at the same time please. Even if it's another Cena or Undertaker.

I posted this in the vault thread but I think it applies to VIP suggestions too…
There is no incentive for people to begin subscribing or restart their subscription for a DX pass. Unless you have subscribed since the beginning, you’re going to be waiting 2-3 years to catch up and get access to the latest rewards.
There needs to be a new vault to attract new subscribers.

We have just cleared more of the useless items from the vault.
Unless the vault is truly rescaled and reset, someone will have weeks of worthless stuff like 12,000 diamonds from L10 or 250 SB Paige shards for L6 or better yet that L20 worthless 4sg sarge to collect before finding straps… assuming its just new levels being added.

Isn't being a subscriber for all that time reward enough?
I'm confident that the number of people subscribed to both since the very beginning is very low, maybe as low as single digits. I don't think it makes much sense to cater to a handful of people rather than hundreds or thousands of potential new subscribers. It's not like those original subscribers would suddenly cancel anyway.

You're joking right? This was brought up in the past and the long time subscribers were all pissed at the idea and I would be too. Skipping all the useless crap for free essentially. These are also the people who spend the most pissing them off is a really really bad idea.
Out of curiousity how many people do you think will subscribe for IOW straps when they can get them in the stipulation store just weaker? Or wait for an any charlotte or batista or a new batch of wrestlemania straps?

It’s pretty easy to keep everyone happy though isn’t it?
They could put something awesome at the end of the original vault and start a new one with resources which fit the current state of the game. Everyone is happy.
Im not saying people huge numbers of people will subscribe for IoW straps only, but it’s amazing to me that they provide zero incentive to new subscribers. Other than content creators who get it for free, I don’t know anyone else who would join at this point.
