First off - I do understand the goal to make money in your product, and I am not a totally "free to play" user


It has been two months now where I have chose not to purchase the "starter packs" for the month long events... Let me tell you, what a grind.


Scopely has built this game to include factions, and anyone playing this game outside of a faction is missing out on huge portions of the game. That being said. Each player contributes points towards their faction contest and the progress of their faction. Which leads to be to "Blitz Contest".


Only having the normal blitz option available, to contribute to the faction contest, make its quite encumbering. There are 6 milestones in the normal and just a wee amount of points towards the faction contest. It takes me about 10 - 15 mins to finish one blitz (1680 points), let's say I need to contribute 1% to the faction... that's roughly 12 hours of playing!!


Needless to say, just seeing if Scopely would consider throwing the F2P crowd a bone here (we all know, keeping a F2P interested in the game, may potentially turn them into a contributing customer!) I know back in the day, it would be possible to rank up our "month long card" to be able to unlock hard mode. Or maybe allowing the player to use IGC to purchase EVO tokens. Just something to make this blitz less like a part time job...


Anyways... Just a thought.

    I agree 100%.. Used to be able to run Hard with a 2s Evo. Now that they give you the 2s freebie they made it 3s to unlock hard. The problem is even if you max kickoff and TP contest plus a few other milestones you will never collect enough evos to unlock Hard. They have made it so difficult the only way to not have the grind 50 blitz is to pay $20. Not cool.. Also $20 for a free character is pricy. I'm also not totally F2P I buy the sub $2 stuff. Just can't justify spending more cash and getting loads of free shards. If you made it shards of rare characters I would spend more.
