Faction coin/gear issue

Not a bug but, as I’m sure you’re all aware, when you get a gear you already have, you receive up to 600 silver hangers as “compensation” but there’s no where to actually use those since the gear is only available by spending 50k faction coins. This is highly annoying and I was wondering if any consideration is given to maybe getting some of the spent coins back or making the hangers usable to buy something…like anything in the game. Seems to me just another way to alienate their users that could be simply avoided. Just my .02

Some gears can be purchased with the hangers. There have been suggestions towards atlernatives in the past but nothing has come from it.
