Honestly the grind wasn't worth in the long run. For those who have that type of time it's cool I guess. But for those who have family and real life things not so much. I know there's a way for you guys to balance this unless this is what you're going for.

All things considered, it was a great event on paper. Solid prizes and rewards.
However, that many matches to grind in such a short period of time is extremely daunting.
I'd recommend lowering the number of matches required to Mac the event to a more reasonable number.

When you make it too much of a grind it no longer becomes fun.
Scores system needs major improving.
The requirements of low tier superstars and pit them against higher tier superstars is a disgrace.
The rewards do not justify the grind.
Overall the event went smooth with no glitches.
The design of the event was terrible.

Simple....horrible

I think the 250 matches was far too many for an event. Although this was much more attainable with the F/F Event, the rewards were not the best. Not many were pulling Stacy from the bags and i maxed the event spending around 180 dollars and i am barely halfway to recruiting her.
if you are going to make people grind that many matches at least give them a real incentive to do them.

I think the requirements for the bonus characters were a little much. Even running 2 out of the 3 at once came out to 200 matches needed to max the bonus points. I am happy that we are not constantly searching for opponents now however.

First, a quick comment on the meta of the game:
Women need to have a more prominent place in this game. I, like many others, put in the grind to get to the max milestone, and barely got past halfway to the unlock amount for Stacy. But unlike other male characters, I really didn't feel like I was missing out on much, didn't feel that frustration I feel when the same thing happens for male characters.
Simply put, there are not enough reasons to encourage us to work on our women's roster. Even females getting involved in showdowns or female-only feuds and blitzes are not enough to convince the vast majority of the player base. Females have also been left out of the downsized stipulation tours.
Perhaps we need to see the return of a mixed match or F/F showdown like the old days? To be clear, this hypothetical suggestion would not take away from the current M/M showdown, but be an optional extra showdown that people could do if they wanted to earn more showdown coins. The need for more showdown coins is definitely there as the showdown store has evolved since its more humble days pre-Icons/HOF tokens. More universal tours like the Dogg Pound one this month would also be very welcome. Maybe my PG females were better than my males for whatever reason. Why not open the door for more people to use them?

Solo Contest
😀 Big coin rewards, nice TP rewards, not too difficult to get the mystery medallion if that was all that you were chasing. Contest superstar requirements were nice and open.
😫 Value of showdown coins was low, as was the per-match bonus for contest superstars. Grinding for max was a lot of effort for pretty minimal reward with regards to the chase. I don't think maxing solo events should mean that you get the chase character, but you should get much closer than most players get, especially when you have a chance to actually randomly get the character straight up!
Faction Contest
😀 Scoring with health pack usage was a welcome addition to the usual "get chase shards" simple scoring option. Tours rewarded a decent chunk of faction points too with CSS. Rewards were decent.
😫 Not too much to complain about. Faction contests are usually the most reasonable thing Scopely puts together on a consistent basis. Straightforward, which is good for players in factions that focus on minimums.

Unlike most Showdown Events where 90% of match-ups are impossible to win (especially with bonus character) it was about 50%. But the volume of matches needed to hit each milestone, let alone max the Event out was near impossible. While I understand we should have to put in varied effort on Events it would be nice if you reassess the effort=time=reward value. Thanks

The showdown- the bonus character extra points are to low.
The tour- it should offer more help to the event. Higher rewards.
The tours being open was the part I did like.

7/10 overall great event grind able to max the ugly was how low the shards was ….. all them matches and not even half way with shards

It was bad.To many matches with specific wrestlers for very small amount of points

The amount of matches needed was way to high for a weekend. Overall it wasn't a bad event but the number of matches needs to change drastically

It was good just need to get 4 star woman in my roster

I feel like the event went smoothly, I always play this game mode and lucky enough I had sasha and becky, not askua just yet
She is a great character from what I seen and I hope to pick her up myself at some point
Cons:
It can be time consuming for those who don't have the whole day to fill the slots up to gain the maximum Stacy points they can, maybe extending it longer would have been better

The 350 matches was abit of a slog but we're atleast do able. done them all maxxed the event. Nowhere near recruiting Stacey. Should work that you get shards per milestone so you actually stand half a chance the more milestones you do the more shards you actually get. That aside the rewards were pretty decent coins TP and tokens.
And I recruited JBL so not a bad weekend event

1) The tours were pretty fair & gave solid points towards both the solo and faction contest, so no complaints there. Also was great that they weren’t restricted for those not able to use bonus characters.
2) The showdown however was bit extreme, it was way too time consuming to grind out all of the bonus matches. If the majority of players would not have lowered their showdown defenses on day 2, these matches would have almost been impossible to complete.
3) The faction event is based on RNG luck from getting shards from the Stacey bags or spending money in order to possibly obtain shards, I think for showdown events showdown coins should always give points towards the faction event.
4) The event rewards were good in terms of resources, so no complaints there. However, after maxing out the solo contest, I feel players should be atleast somewhat close to obtaining the event character, but in my experience I only got to 775 shards out of 1600, even after getting every possible shard bag. No reason I shouldn’t even be halfway to the character, after maxing that characters event.

Besides the absurd amount of matches you needed between the bonus characters. And the constant crashing throughout playing could be in a middle of match and game just vanished like I had forced closed but I didn’t and yet I had to restart. But besides those two issues it was fine. Also I swear the CPU always has unlimited extra turns (extra turn strap) they have unlimited dodges also. Oh let’s not forget the belt that has potential to escape submission happens always on first set of gems that are broke or they get crazy cascade and they still escape. The CPU always has no %’s when it comes to that but yet my extra turn belt might trigger every 8-10 matches. But overall I don’t mind showdowns

I’ve been on this game for several years, and this is my first comment in the forum. I cannot believe how bad this SD event was. It’s really inexcusable that Scopely believes that just recreating a move set for a new female character is okay. However, I can deal with it because it’s at least a decent build. The problem is that you make the milestones nearly unreachable and the rewards within those same milestones meaningless. The only people that can even compete in this game anymore are people willing to devote a minimum full-time job worth of time into it (40 hours/week). There needs to be better rewards for long AF time on this game. You used to get rewarded for grinding your ass off, now, you have to grind just to stay relevant. Not to mention, this event provided very little opportunity to obtain this new character or even accumulate a decent amount of shards.

I’m just posting to win Stacy. No point on either bashing or giving compliments nothing will change much. So I play for my enjoyment whether I maxed event or not pay or don’t pay, I don’t stress on things I have no control over. My only input will be if you can maxed the event give at least half of the shards or the card itself as the last milestone.
Thank you
My name is Reckonize21 and I approve this message.

Pretty solid event with decent resources, the bonus matches weren't too bad. The only thing I really disliked was once again a huge grind for less than half the shards needed to get the character. Rng needs to get better or the character needs to be guaranteed

I am personally not a huge fan of so many showdown matches to get movement on solo showdowns. It feels like I am going nowhere. The reason I say this is from a family stand point and weekends should be spent more with family then grinding out 250 showdown matches (say 250 because you could double up to keep the amount of runs down). I do feel that some folks may have given up early because they did not know of the solo points in the last road tour (that was almost my case). While the abundance of upgrade material (coins, tp, etc.) is awesome, I do feel that it should be more equaled out. The last two milestones had crazy stuff in it, but most would have to spend really money to get there. The greatest thing about this contest though is that you could use any version of a needed character instead of a specific that not everyone may have.

While I didn't love this event, I don't think I hated it as much as some.
Pros: The tours were pretty doable and gave a decent amount of event points. The prizes other than the shard bags I thought were great. I'd like to see more chance for bleed immunity belts, but the amount of belts was pretty good. The coins and TP were good. The open ended element to the bonus Showdown characters was good (any Becky instead of a specific one). The fact that the 2nd day goes until 6pm (Central time US) is good.
Cons: WAY too many required matches for those small amount of points, especially in relation to shards of the event character. If you want someone to grind that many matches...better toss out a 2 star (heck 1 star even) version of the character in the last couple of milestones. Also, shards are not nearly enough. I understand not guaranteeing a 4 star character...but I literally finished in the top 60 of this event and that didn't even get me half of the needed shards. These bags that hold the 3 and 4 star posters need to have a MUCH higher minimum of the shards.
Good luck to everyone

Love the showdown events in general, but this one disappointed me. The fact that we needed 150 matches minimum to max the points was a little outrageous. In my opinion the rewards didn’t reflect the time it would tans

The event its self was bad. Too much grinding for not enough payoff. I dont mind grinding, but playing an event when the showdown coins max at 22500 each day is kind crazy.if you want us to grind then that's fine, but keep the showdown coins coming. Don't have them max out. Plus I agree with Kevin, please stop with the copy and paste of male wrestlers over females

This event overall was a good 8/10.
Contest characters were characters most have, however, the 350 matches overall for them was a bit much.
The Solo and faction events were both maxable with enough grind.
The Showdown itself was a grind and a half for fighting certain matches. I usually have fun with showdown events, but this one was probably one of the most fun I've had in a while.
The tours being open was a good idea, let everyone go as far as they can with both any character and the contest characters.
Once again, this event was fun and I cannot wait to see the next showdown event.

The matchs with bonus superstars was so much and this causes discouragement for some players, please reevaluate this.
The tours were ok I have nothing to complain, the difficult was perfect and so the bonus characters were compatible for all players.
My main complain is about shard bags, it is impossimble to recruit the featured superstar when you need 1600/2000 shard but the bags only giving you 5-10 at time, at the end of the event you have 400-500 shards. Instead of being 5-50 shards increase to 50-200 shards. This way players would be more into complete the event.
The showdown coins are being very good since you guys put the max on 22500.

250 shoutdown matches are an exageration. You guys have to keep in mind that the most of players are adults pawt their 30's and a lot of them are above their 40, the ones who are the truest fans of WWE, and we work really hard and themrest of our free time its for our family. And we can't spend 24 hours playing. Please, read and consider these comments

This was quite possibly one of the absolute worst events you have rolled out and that is saying something given the history for you having pay to win contests.
Usually your release these kind of events that you cannot complete without paying a bunch of money for during the middle of the week as a filler which I can partially understand since your seem to be devoid of new ideas unless the populace comes up with them for you. But this was a major weekend event that you could barely finish half of it without spending money.
The money well is drying up for this game as there are more important things in life to spend it on.
And all for what? A chance at yet another Mid-card male reskinned as a female. How about being terrible about releasing 6 new stars per month you try being mediocre at releasing 3 per month?
Most people don't have to win 150 showdown matches to complete the goals of showdown so there is no way in hell people are gonna do 300+. We don't want to sit all day playing this game. It is fun to pass the time but DAMN yall have lost touch with reality.
And if you keep increasing the time needed to complete tasks for this game it makes it much easier to come to the conclusion ANY time devoted to this game is too much.
