Summer Jam Briefcase Pulls

Silly question I'm sure, but do you have a better chance of unlocking Superstars in the briefcase pulls if you actually buy keys? I've earned keys through the tours and so far the best briefcase pull I've had was like 400 shards for Ronda Rousey.
