mid week means no bonus showdown coins on Saturday... boooo!

Will there be (significantly) more coins available in this tournament since there is no weekly bonus available during the event? The points per showdown coin has also been cut in half.
Unless you have every rare character on this list, this looks like a disaster.
It would also mean that the mystery coin chase is over on the very first week because there’s no way to max that event without maxing this showdown event.

Although I am not surprised, I am constantly astounded at how out of touch Scopely is with their players. Who exactly does this event benefit? How do the changes Scopely made make this event better than before? I don't get it. For a company with hundreds of millions of dollars in annual revenue, they don't seem to understand basic marketing and PR strategies. They spend most of 2020 just recycling the same old stuff, which bothered the players, but in 2021 every time they have introduced something different it has made the game worse. This doesn't even consider all of the coding/technical issues the game has had since its inception that never get fixed.

The shard bags in the milestones are not the same shard bags in the store with the stars. Also the stars are not counting towards the week 1 solo event. There’s no consistency.

Showdown coin limits and rare character requirements means the absolute best i can hope for is to hit the bronze star. But to do that I had to purposely lose matches all the down to zero notoriety or all I get is matches I cannot win with Tucker (3sb going up against 5sb and 5ss). I have none of the other required characters. You might as well be telling me not to play.

So the showdown is ridiculous.
1: in the middle of the week there is hardly any time.
2: If you are attacked 5 times within 5 minutes and if you are not online you will be knocked up and as soon as you get online and if you do a fight you will be attacked again by 5 others 🤬🖕
JUST RISKY THE SHOWDOWN, SCOPELY should finally change something about it.

I need a solution. I was playing ShowDown and the game got lost thus losing ZAustin and Carmella. I lost at least 50 medicine cabinets

Hello.
Yesterday I reached the bronze star in the SD but as you will see, I was not counted in the individual event of Wrestlemania.
As I see it is 100k pts for the bronze star, which I achieved but as I wrote before I did not join.
Is it the same star?

Showdown events are usually max able so long as you have all the required characters and are willing to spend a small amount of resources in the talent up portion. This is largely because of the weekly bonus that comes out midway through. Since this was mid week, there was no such bonus making it nearly impossible to max unless you dropped more money than most care to spend especially when the only way to drop money was on characters that they already have. This was very poorly planned and should a mid week showdown event be planned again it should be scaled appropriately to the fact that it’s midweek.

Contest was ok. It's a bit much having showdown for 3 days mid-week and then again over the weekend.
Great to have M/F showdown for a change. We need more female showdown imo.
The stars issue really sucked and should not have happened. I'm glad to see that it's slowly getting resolved, and that the solo contest was extended to accommodate this.

I didn’t mind it being midweek because it didn’t require much time.
Con: not having the showdown bonus coins made it not maxable if you didn’t have the 123 kid.

Yeah, the update broke it. Costing everyone milestones. This has been a disaster of an event

No it is not the update. Something went wrong about an hour or more back and points stopped counting for any bonus character. I had updated before the showdown event started and i was getting the points till an hour back. Now this error is going to cost me a silver star, which in turn resources in weekly solo contest and ultimately month long plus a chance at the mystery character

Okay got you. I assumed it was the update because my first 8 counted yesterday. Updated a couple of hours ago and went to play the rest and they weren't counting

There are no bonus sd coins and now you can fight with tucker but the points doesn't counted. So you don't can reach the milestones now

I think this scrimmage Showdown midweek Was a complete joke and should of never happen. With no required stars except Tucker is beyond unacceptable and ridiculous, so I could not go far and get anywhere. On top of that when I was able to play, I couldn’t. All the opponents were or have been attacked. So apparently y’all didn’t do anything to fix that issue. I did not participate in this event. I will not waste any of my coins on refreshing the opponents just to find a opponent to play. I don’t think so. So I guess the showdown event this weekend woke work either. Beyond terrible. Very disappointed. Why do y’all keep giving us stuff no one asked for. When we do participate , we can’t go anywhere and get very tiny amount of rewards. Like 5 shards when the star requires 2000.

This is a real sad event. Could be fun to have a extra sd event. Then u start playing and grind it out for 3 days and after all of that u see that u dont get the points u played for.
I played 25 tucker matches, 3 rhea matches, and got about 47k sd coins. This should put my right above 5 mio points in the contest. And where do i stand, right.. at 2,8 mio. Thats rly rly bad cause i know exactly that the support even if he maybe helps wont help in time and u will prob loose out the extra points on the wm22 solo event, on the team event for the event and if i get the silver start that im missing, there will be know prizewall to use it on.
So overall it was a big waste of time and u get pissed cause of the scam.

Hi @all. I think this SD event is a bit excessive. there are always only extremely strong opponents against whom you unfortunately have no chance. everyone has only five silver stars left in defense and that sucks. unfortunately you cannot win a milestone this way. This is a pity. this SD is once again for the bin.

not great. The 5s wall after 400 showdown point is beyond bogus. You should face those with same talent level not just every 5s defense know. To the game. Also, only having one bonus character thanks to the rest being super rare was also highly frustrating not to mention the bonus points not even counting correctly or receiving points for the bronze silver and gold star appropriately.

Pros- With 3 days it didn't take as much time to max out what you could.
Cons- prizewall is laughably bad. Characters are very rare. Resources were decent.

another shitty money grab from scopely... should focus on fixing all bugs instead of trying to take more money for events nobody cares about.
