Why don't Skill Plates always work as described?

Hi team!

I have a question about skill plates that aren't working quite as described.

First example: the GLOWING PHANTOM POWER plate.

I have the GLOWING PHANTOM POWER plate assigned to HOF Roddy Piper. The description for this plate reads "Whenever you break 3 or more Purple Gems, get 3 Green Move Points (MP) at the end of your turn!"

Unfortunately, this only works when swiping gems to create a match of 3 or more Purple Gems, but NOT other instances of breaking 3 or more Purple Gems!

For example: Piper's Eye Poke move Swaps a 1 x 3 Random area to Purple gems at Level 11. In doing so, Piper breaks 3 (or more) Purple Gems. However, when using this move Piper does NOT get 3 Green Move Points at the end of the turn. He ONLY gets 3 Green MP when making a purple match.

Second example: the DX ARMY ASSAULT plate.

I have the DX ARMY ASSAULT plate assigned to The Gobbledy Gooker. The description for this plate reads "Whenever you break 3 or more Purple Gems, make 7 Green Gems into Black Gems at the end of your turn!"

You guessed it: this only works when swiping gems to create a match of 3 or more Purple Gems, but NOT other instances of breaking 3 or more Purple Gems!

For example: Gooker's Farm 2 Table move allows you to choose a 2 x 3 Area to Swap into Purple Gems. In doing so, Gooker breaks a minimum of 6 Purple gems, which is clearly "3 or more Purple Gems". However, when using this move Gooker does not make 7 Green Gems into Black Gems. He ONLY does so when making a purple match.

I know this is longwinded but I'm trying to be a thorough as possible.

Whether this is intentional or not, skill plates currently aren't working as described. Any insight from @Firpo or other team members would be greatly appreciated. Thank you!
