Faction Quest requirement changed?

Last week, the faction needed to earn 1008 stars to complete the 4000pt quest. This week, it's up to 1440 stars!!!! Is this supposed to have happened? That's a huge increase.


EDIT: nevermind. I was just informed it's because we went up a tier. That's still a big jump though.
