Rey shards visual glitch

Firstly, I think it's great that we're getting Rey for free but if we're honest, no one is interested in having him at 2* and we want to fuse him to 4* ASAP. My final daily Rey shards shows 90 shards are being given yet I only get 80 shards. I contact support who inform me that 90 is a 'visual glitch' and that 80 shards is correct. They can't be that incompetent that they can't program simple numbers properly. Did anyone else have this issue?
