Why is the pay wall / Prize Wall so expensive??

All these paywlls for these events are soo ridiculous over priced .. It shouldn't cost and arm and a leg for 10 shards .. It's get excessively expensive for a virtual game. The weekly paywall , the weekend paywall and monthly is way over priced. It needs to be reduced. It's getting a bit ridiculous and over priced. There's no reason it should be so expensive.
