This is from a prior blog post: We’re putting the spotlight back where it belongs: on funfairness, and strategic domination. Your feedback drives our decisions.  *busts up laughing* that is the biggest bold face I have ever heard from Scopely as: Why do you keep asking for constructive criticism for every single event? You never listen as all you do is mostly copy and paste the same events (from previous showdowns, faction feuds, boss battles) with their janky issues and the only difference is changing the bonus superstars needed and the name… as when the player base actually has legit complains that hinders them, it’s ignored for a long time… but god forbid if it affect your bottom line, it gets fixed IMMEDIATELY!!!

That being said, you want constructive criticism, here it is and it’s not just for this event (as you don’t even care to listen to the player base and I’m following from a page in your own playbook by just copying and pasting myself):

Please put a cap Gem and Move Defense as it gets really annoying seeing setups that can kill AI opponents with ease get EXTREMELY nerfed in SD and Feuds because someone’s RNG luck was better. I faced opponents with more than 150%+ gem and move defense, HOW IN THE WORLD IS THAT FAIR!?!?! (Oh wait… I know, It’s Scopely’s not giving two F’s on what a low spender like me thinks). Oh and to all those who say “just configure your character better”, I do the best I can with what the game’s RNG does for me… so suck it. Also, please give the AI random medals in stead of the best stuff because it gets really annoying seeing them with top stuff while I’m dealing with trash due to RNG as that’s straight up lazy programming.

Please lay off the steel cage rules. I swear it’s on every single event… and it’s not even creative, it’s just straight up Grade A Laziness! Also, if there’s a limitation for players, PUT IT ON THE AI AS WELL!!! I think it’s complete bs that players can’t use some combination of belts, medals, trainers, or entourage BUT THE AI CAN USE EVERYTHING… SERIOUSLY WTMFH?!?!?! I bet the players can come up with something WAY better than your ignorant developers can come up with.

Boss Battles- disable the move animations as time is limited per turn and they eat up so much time. Also, please reduce bosses health as battles aren’t supposed to be slogs due to janky mechanics… and please give us SOMETHING when players try and fail to beat the boss as nothing irks me more than spending minutes to get NOTHING when the boss defeats the players.

Can you also run recycling opportunities more often as even after the last event, my inventory is still filled with junk that’s from years ago. I would think clearing out all that useless junk would help the game run smoother… but what do I know as I’m not a programmer or developer

LASTLY- CAN YOU PLEASE POST THE BLOG POST FOR THE EVENTS ON YOUR BLOG AT THE SAME TIME AS YOU HAVE SOMEONE OVERANALYZING IT ON TWITCH AND TAKE FIVE TIMES AS LONG TO READ THE SAME M’FING THING!

The feud itself and the milestones were quite standard and normal but the new blitz isn't good.

Old blitz was much better as it had chance to drop feud medallions.

Also I would love if we could get some john cena LTIN shards for free. Like currently it gives 275 shards for 20 medallions with 2 purchase limit,it would be much better if we got half of the shards for half price but with 4 purchase limit (or even 125 shards for 10). This gives free to play players opportunity to keep chasing slowly while spenders can get thier benefits as usual.

This weekend as a whole was not bad at all it was very nice. i like the addition of the superstar at the file milestone. only bad thing i didnt like was how much it costed to get to said milestone. But it is a business so understood why it was that high. Downfalls to womens feuds it feels very restricted that you're stuck using the same 8 people over and over compared to the males side. Things to maybe change… Maybe rework some female cards from older era's make them more viable like some cards have been reworked as of date. I know its a stretch but maybe bring back giving away the poster to top 15 again? OR maybe give away a tad bit more solo points? i spent some and grinded the heck out of feud ended up getting to 9.139 points in the event. things to add to feud prizewalls maybe the community can vote before the feud which shards to add? maybe a plate or 2 they may like as well. all and all this may not win the 5sg card but a little bit of my feed bad thank you.

Okay…I don't have a ton positive to say ONLY because it's a feud, feud is feud, especially the single feuds, those are pretty standard, and I generally think those are pretty solid experiences. Like, there's really not much to say at this point, except ADD MODERN AND PG TO THE ERA BONUSES. There's no reason not to have those on the list.

Here's my biggest issue with this weekend: you nerfed Sunday HARD. I went into this weekend thinking it'd be a shoo-in for me to get the 20 medallions to get Penta. Literally any other normal feud weekend I would've, easily. But the Blitz being a one-run thing with 25 shards of a bunch of characters (all but one of which I'm lucky to have) and then the final reward being an utterly mid skill plate and 100 shards of Roxanne whom I've had for probably a year, where before the Sunday Blitz was good for at least 1 million contest points and/or some medallions across multiple runs…that was so much better it's unbelievable. This change was not it. If you're gonna keep the blitz like this, fine, then please add more Sunday tours. I spent some of my saved up rubies and then a $5 pull to get the ONE MEDALLION I needed for Penta, but I shouldn't have had to. The Sunday changes were awful, I can't sugar coat it. I don't remember the last time I didn't get to the 7.6 m stretch milestone and 20+ medallions basically in my sleep, but all of a sudden this weekend's scoring was wildly different. Again, being charitable, I think the likely explanation is y'all changed the format of Sunday while forgetting to adjust the rest of the points, which is an honest mistake if it gets rectified, but it always happens with a change like this and it's frustrating as heck, and if it wasn't a mistake, it's extremely unfriendly to players. I almost find it funny because last month's FF prize wall was notoriously awful, this one felt a LOT better, but then there was a new and different way to nerf the rewards. It honestly feels targeted.

And for the record, I think the idea behind the blitz with the shards/plate rather than points isn't bad. But if that's gonna be the new norm for Sunday, then buff the points and medallions other places, so that it adds to the experience, not takes away from it.

I feel the points were very stingy this feud, im normally around 22nd milestone this time only 20, the blitz would be a really great added feature if there was more points distributed else where, I feel my whole Sunday was wasted with most of the rewards I received personally but I know a lot of my faction got some great new additions so the lottery of luck continues lol I would like to see more tp in the milestones as im running scarce on them

    Enjoyed this event.

Really appreciate not having to rely on the blitz for contest points. Occasionally I have been unable to get the gold chest due to getting medallions in the random bags.

This feels more consistent and with good rewards from the blitz.

Good work. Would be welcome for this format to return

  • ExceptedSeven

My biggest issue with this weekend was the rewards. The rng on the chests were horrible, every chest I got was 15 shards of logan paul.

The pizewall was overpriced aswell, I hit milestone 19 and got every medallion from the warscore competition and still didn't get enough to get the Penta shards which I'm only pointing out because we just had a poll about who we'd like to see shards for in a prizewall where penta won but what's the point if they are out of reach for the majority of players?

The tours were fairly boring this weekend.

A positive for me was the blitz on Sunday, the shards after each match were nice and the final milestone was decent.

Stop using steel cage rules for every single feud. They are stupid and annoying. I would've been able to get to league 22 faster without those rules this weekend.

Tell us what you liked and what could be improved.

Likes - Feud was good. Event/Contest strategizing towards eras, reduction in blitz run and rewards with an actual inclination to climbing every step of the Ladder, Prize Wall majorly comprising of posters I do not have so decent in my opinion,

Dislikes - Milestone unachievability from F2P's standpoint. I used to reach till 19-20 with the points but stuck at 16th.

Several HP glitches where subsequent feud join ups ( even after Opponent is found ) couldn't let me engage, superstar HP shows injured or minimum, matchup and board freezes thus had to restart game, at times resulting in player HP / first time points loss for the said poster.

Noticed in some matches people were able to utilise special perk achieved on 300M milestone where after restarts my perk section was not updated to equip it.. ( still no Showdown slot opened too )

Have to struggle roster adjustment for RA era female, (Molly - entourage can either take in MP chargers or move damagers, affecting how long a move damage cycle re-runs. It ain't tours that one spares out time to grind turns to win )

Suggestions - Blitz bag can be reworked to include Year on the logo if inventory item are being stored as souvenirs

More female usage but if the older cards are reworked

Main contest solo points shall be adjusted in tours

Still unsure about HoF Molly's Juggernaut Move increasing Yellow dmg upon Opponent intervention. kindly check

The Contest Loot be also updated with limited characters basis one's roster size than throwing everybody and then randomising chances are lessened for a new poster

    Thank You !

Faction Feud has become one of my more favorite modes as of late. Even if I am struggling with an Era due to weaker posters, I really enjoy the grind of Class and Era wins. I wish Flash Feuds had this. Instead of 4 separate Flash Feuds, I wish it was 2 with extended times. Anyways as always, please keep the ERA and Class wins. It really helps with the Warscore contest.

It seems like middle line was opened for many, especially if you were able to get the free Fuse up for the re-worked Rhea in a previous MLC. I took advantage of the middle lane for a good portion of my feuding, and I greatly appreciated it.

The perks were nice. I did not fully max them as I was unaware, I needed to use all my turn buckles first before using them on tour benefits too. This information was not on the MLC blog and did not get communicated to use until after the new discord was launched. I would have liked to max my feud perks as I am normally able to do, so this was a miss. Previous MLCs i did not have a problem doing so. Heck a while ago, you were able to max Feud and tour perks. Things have changed for the worse with turn buckles and perks. Please review this so it does not happen again, Thanks.

When it comes to the loot boxes in Warscore milestones, it has become apparent that I either have extremely bad luck or the older generic plates are weighted much higher than the new ones. It takes me quite some time to hit the 450 million Warscore milestone and to only get a Ronda Jacket or a Dog Ears gremlin plate feels awful. I would also like to see StarFills and 5 Star resources in these earlier milestones.

The tours were good as normal. Those in charge of weekend tours continue to do a great job. This Blitz you introduced was so darn COOL! Whoever designed this, you rock! The only thing I wish you did, was had a CSS that could get your more solo points for the contest. Even if it was like "Any Cena". Keep the shards for each match for any poster, just in case a player did not have a CSS to use.

Speaking of the solo event, I compared screen shots I had from previous faction contests, and we ended up with much less solo points than before. At least much lower on the milestones. Most Faction Feud solo events, I hit 4- 5 bonus milestones. This one I barely hit the first bonus. Adding more solo points to either the 1 tour we had or even adding a 2nd tour would have helped.

Finally, the event medallions were lacking. I did everything and anything I could have to get medallions, and I only ended up with 12. Also, those 7 pulls are so bad. Getting a 5-star SB Naomi 3 times feels like a punch in the gut. At this point getting the 7 pull only helps with progressing the solo event milestones. We should have received almost double the Medallion in the solo contest for what we needed to do this weekend.

The Prize-wall offers were great. You guys have been doing a great job generally with these. If there was going to be so little medallions without spending, Prize-wall offers should have been cheaper. Thanks for the event.

    Solo

The Solo tours had a good range of CSS, making the requirements all generally attainable. The only exception was the Judgement Day tour requiring Raquel, due entirely to the lack of FTP tokens to upgrade Raquel. It’s great that she was immediately available this month, but the tokens have been so stingy and the number required for each upgrade has been so high, she’s not very usable. Especially in Solo Tours that involve matches against 5ss and higher. Using props allowed me to max out the available tours with her, but it was more of a chore than it could’ve been.

    Faction

The Faction Feud went fine enough, but the still nonfunctional Faction chat hindered coordination all weekend. Having no real Faction rewards beyond the ranking made the Feud feel much more like a solo mode.

    Milestones

The milestones were not great this weekend, particularly on the Feud contest itself. The number of prizewall coins felt very stingy, and the general milestone rewards felt less rewarding than in previous feuds. Lumping all of the rainbow shard bags into the final milestone felt bad, especially when the last few milestones before it felt nearly worthless. Faction Feud loot bags are too random with the rewards to feel rewarding for the effort; nearly every single one gives a very low value plate and/or moment.

    Faction Feud

This weekend’s Feud itself was fine. Using the female roster was a nice change of pace, and having the class and era scoring makes the whole mode feel much less punitive. It is weird that Modern and PG are both still missing from the era scoring, though. Those would be nice additions. The scoring per match and per feud still feels too low when the final milestone is so high at 500mil. I maxed out this event, but it ate up most of my weekend and I was ultimately not rewarded at all for my efforts. The Perk suitcase idea is interesting, but I’ll see if they help the rest of the month.

    Feud Blitz

This new Feud Blitz was awful. Rewarding such a tiny amount of shards for a bunch of characters is just a drop in the bucket and didn’t feel like any meaningful progress towards any of them. Giving only 1 Blitz ticket, even to those who maxed out the event, felt awful. Replacing the previous Blitz rewards of points and Prizewall coins was even worse. Everything about these Blitz changes was just terrible.

    Technical Issues

Faction chat is still not working, which made coordination through this weekend’s Feuds more difficult than it needed to be. I’ve noticed a bug when I open my in-game mailbox and then run a match, where the match rewards pop up before the match has even ended. I run the game on an iPhone 16.

    Prizewall

This prize wall looked great, but all the great things were totally unaffordable. I am so close to getting the Last Time is Now Cena, but his shards were far too expensive for me to get him. Again, I maxed out all of the milestones for the entire feud and only wound up with 12 prizewall coins. I was excited when I saw the shards on offer, then only massively disappointed when the lack of prizewall coins made the entire prizewall nearly unattainable.

    Conclusion

This weekend’s Feuds were honestly terrible. This is the most negative I’ve ever felt towards this game. I maxed out the entire feud, got all of the milestones, and didn’t at all feel rewarded for the amount of effort it took. The shards I need to improve my roster are Defensive Acrobat. I did not get a single Defensive Acrobat shard from the rainbow shard bags in the top milestone from feuding. I also did not get nearly enough prizewall coins to afford the reasonable prizes I really wanted, notably the Cena shards. If I had gotten at least one of those 2 things, I wouldn’t feel so terrible about this weekend. The new Feud Blitz is such a massive downgrade. The only way I see to make this feel rewarding would be to significantly increase the number of shards offered per win and in the final Blitz bag. Or revert it back to simple contest points, which would have alleviated my issues with the prizewall tokens and ultimately made the weekend feel much less awful.

    Have a nice day!

  • Thothrekr

Is the Prizewall already gone? Is that a bug? Usually, I save till the end of the contest.

  • Shinkansa1441
    Shinkansa1441 Member

The recent Faction Feud had some positive aspects, particularly the use of the female roster and the inclusion of class and era scoring, which added variety and strategy. The middle lane being more accessible was a great improvement, and solo tours were mostly well-balanced—except for the Raquel requirement, which felt unfair due to the limited availability of F2P tokens for upgrades.

However, the rewards didn’t match the effort. Despite maxing all milestones, the prizewall coins and event medallions were too few to unlock anything meaningful. The new Feud Blitz was especially disappointing—offering low shard counts, only one ticket, and no contest points made it feel like a downgrade. On top of that, the Warscore loot felt outdated, and faction chat issues continued to hurt coordination.

Going forward, better reward balance, more generous shard/coin distribution, and clearer communication around perks (like turnbuckles) would really improve the experience. The event had potential, but the grind far outweighed the payoff.

First I like to say is Michelle MCCool being in the game is amazing.

Solo Contest: CSS for feud Alexa,Jade, and Maxine are more obtainanble.

Feud Contest: Winning with different eras and classes are challenging but fair.

Limited time tours: Tours was fair.

    Gauntlet Blitz: Rewards was great.

Prizewall Was great lots of shards and plates are great.

    Overall great gratse

Why just one day Faction Feud? Make is a two day Feud. You have wasted Saturday.

Faction Feud must be revamped, add a tag team for example.

The rewards are getting worse and worse.

Now you must spend 1250 coins? Wow, you are really milking this.

I feel the game is getting old and boring. It needs to be refreshed, and fix Faction Chat for crying out loud, it has been 3 months!

    • Pros
    • - Good prize wall with a lot of options on shards
    • - Tours were good and fair
    • - The MITB briefcases idea was cool
    • - The rainbow shard bags for milestones in the war score are a continued positive
    • Cons
    • - Faction rewards aren't the greatest for the feud
    • - There were some technical issues during the feud. I had a few times where I would win and it didn't count, only to have the same character still there to battle but mine was down to 1 hp.
    • - The highest milestone didn't really help you much in the solo content for feud score.
    • - The overall war score rewards were somewhat lackluster
    • - The single blitz, while time saving, didn't feel as rewarding as before as we were able to potentially get more medallions and there were extra tickets for war score achievements.
  • SJ Manan
    SJ Manan Member ✭✭

    Positive Aspects:

    • Engaging grind with Class and Era scoring method, making it less punitive and encouraging strategic roster use, especially with female characters for variety. The overall structure was solid, with era specific design and decent rewards. Love the fact that the Middle lane accessibility is still available for lower level users to aided progression.
    • LTT has a good range of CSS, with well executed weekend tours, characters like Raquel added some value, despite upgrade challenges.
    • Reduce the weighting of outdated plates in the feud domination chests and include more relevant ones were quite the huge change and probably the best part of this entire weekend.
    • Perk suitcases were an interesting concept, as it has the potential to enhance further monthlong feuding.
    • The PW was visually appealing with desirable rewards, such as premium plates and shards like Last Time is Now Cena shards, though they were very difficult to get if you’re FTP or light feuder.
    • The new feud blitz format was creatively designed, appreciated by some.

    Negatives:

    • The scoring system felt very inadequate, with low points per match, particularly for the Feud contest, felt stingy with PW medallions and rewards concentrated in the warscore final 500M milestone that was time consuming to achieve. Many players maxed out the event but felt the rewards did not justify the effort.
    • The Solo points provided this time seems very off with lesser points than the previous contests, with some players barely reaching bonus milestones compared to hitting in past events.
    • The newly added blitz was widely criticised for offering minimal rewards as to the previous format, The single run format reduced opportunities for players progression, making it harder to achieve milestones compared to past multi run blitzes which had the contest points and chance at the prizewall medallions. The rewards were too RNG based and mostly underwhelming, especially for players who already owned those characters and mid tier skill plates.
    • The monthly turnbuckle payout wasn’t enough, with some players unaware they needed to use turnbuckles for tour benefits in addition to Feud perks. It was mentioned nowhere and because of this lack of communication players were enabled to max the feud perk, a regression from previous events where maxing both Feud and tour perks was feasible.
    • Players struggled to earn enough event medallions, there were only 12 for maxed out efforts making most of the prize wall items unaffordable FTP players. The 7 loot coin offer was straight out useless, most of the times it feels like an trap because let’s be honest you won’t get anything besides dupes or B tier shards.

    Suggestions:

    • Increase the no of prizewall medallions awarded through milestones and blitzes. To actually make the wall items more attainable for F2P players.
    • Adjust milestone rewards to include more valuable items like 5 star diamond or gold tokens(Which the players are sunken hard) or newer plates in earlier milestones, reducing reliance on random loot boxes.
    • Please pivot back to the old feud blitz or add more sunday tours for extra contest points and PW coins, because for now the amount of shards we get from per match doesn’t really count much, it’s like a drop in the bucket also adjust final Blitz match to make it feel more meaningful.
    • Need more better communication when it comes to something like feud perk would be great if you could mentioned that in the released event blogs.

    Conclusion:

The event showcased strengths in its engaging gameplay, creative changes and appealing prize wall, although it was marred by significant issues, including unrewarding milestones, few technical glitches and a poorly received last day blitz overhaul. Players felt their efforts were not adequately rewarded, particularly in terms of prizewall medallions, and top end milestones. By addressing technical issues, enhancing reward accessibility, clarifying perk mechanics, and reverting or improving the Blitz format, the developers can restore player satisfaction and make future events feel more rewarding and enjoyable.

To be perfectly honest. I don't mind the Feud itself, it seems as if it was a pretty normal feud. I liked that there was a guaranteed poster for those that are spenders. I think that either we need more females from some eras if we are to continue this format on the main feud. Some of these eras are tricky even with a good roster. Hoping to take out a weaker poster is just that hope. I liked and disliked the new blitz. The shards and guaranteed plate were nice. Not being able to get more medallions and planning on those for Cena shards felt like a gut punch. Overall I was OK with the feud and blitz. Just work on more females with decent eras that aren't paywalled to the extreme.

This past Weekend's feud fell short of my usual expectatiobs. It was a perfect example of "trying something new" while taking away something many have enjoyed. The blitz to end the contest was excellent as it provided great rewards in the shards & plate. However, the usual amount of main solo contest points were not available. Im not sure why they were scaled back but they could have easily been added to the feud CSS contest final milestone or two to provide incentive for people to grind a little more in feud. I could have used more of the feud prizewall tokens to get more shards of YEET. My usual level of play and spend would have got me there, this weekend I didnt come close to what I normally get.
