The Soulless One

The showdown was obtainable for me even if I didn't have any of the css. The thing is I would have added 325,000 points to the last trish battle instead of adding faction points but that's just me. I wasn't able to get the gold chest all because the only bianca I have is striker bianca and I had just enough resources to take her from 5sb to 5sg and that didn't really help at all. I also had to take my piper niven to 6ss so her sub would be a little better but that's about it.

good event with variation.
some content easy, some content difficult, some content challenging.I dont mind with the difficulty of the tour. But maybe make it somehow easier for us to get the css to do the tour.

The contest was good and all but the Web Portal was having issues Ig, like not getting rewards that are told on the contest.,
I'm a new player, as a new player it's really hard to win in the contests, but as time goes it won't be problem I think.

I would say the contest overall was fairly good. I didn't like the fact that y'all like to use characters that I don't have. It's like I feel it's all about the ones who spend and have the character needed. I also didn't like how it was impossible for me to beat the bianca hell match. It would be nice to actually have a decent chance at pulling the star for the contest from bags in the weekend milestones. Would make it easier and more fair for everyone involved.

There many negative points as per last other previous MLC
Many weekend contest like Showdown is impossible to clear when you are free to play player you can't even compete to get gold chest when it's highest level to win when you are free to play
Very hard to get zombie character since only available for certain time
NoNo free give of characters

Normal daily grinding no longer produces worthwhile results. This event has severely decreased my desire to bring a daily player since I am no longer able to claim weekly top rewards since everything is now further out of reach. A decrease in rewards yields a decrease in activity.

Very reasonable CSS for the showdown competition. Maxed a weekend showdown contest for the first time in awhile, definitely wasn't expecting that during Zombie month.
My faction maxed the weekend contest which doesn't happen often either, which is nice because there's still an insistence in putting a lot of solo points in a contest that relies on 99 other people? I would much rather the rewards in faction contest be reworked in a way that would still encourage people to look for better factions while not completely boxing out players that are tired of dealing with overanxious faction leaders operating on a hair trigger because they have an inferiority complex that they're not one of the top five factions, which is where the real action is.
Also not a very big fan of the shard loots for these events, would much rather see shard bags where I have no chance of getting a full card but can instead get an amount of shards for a focused amount of superstars. I find the shard loots to largely be a huge waste of time.
Seeing the sheer number of tours was a little overwhelming at first but thankfully they were all pretty short in painless.
B+ event.

Enjoyed the weekend event! All parts of the event were balanced for the most part. Points for contest were very accessible to obtain and tours were lots of fun and challenging. Only downside would be the one tour where it was basically pay to win to get the bonus rewards. Maybe consider putting an old or current character for f2p players so that they too have a chance at the bonus rewards. Overall S tier event :)

The event is good, tours provide enough points to climbed upto the bonus rewards. Showdown CSS requirment is decent, but need to diversified a bit to provide access to new players.
Faction events should provide better rewards but all an all a regular course of business and a decent event.

Really enjoyed this Showdown event. In my opinion, very user friendly for those who don’t have the top top zombies. You could still get far if you took time to play. Enjoyed it. Thank you

It was a good event but I would have liked it to be easier to max less rare CSS and some more shards for the weekend character to earn.

Pros: - nice amount of short, fun tours and nice early release of most of them.
- a good bunch of the css for the showdown were relatively common enough for some. A lot of guys in my faction had all of them.
- good amount of rare skill plates on the prize wall.Cons: - not many options on the prize wall worth getting for under 6k coins.
- once you hit a certain plateau in the showdown contest there was no way to get to the next milestone unless you had the css. I think there needs to be smaller gaps between milestones so that the average player feels like there is a reason to keep grinding. I did not progress any further in the last 20 hours the showdown was running.0 -
Hi,
First and foremost, Bayley has proven to be an exceptional addition to the move damage meta, delivering impressive damage output that truly elevates gameplay. Huge thanks for that—her unique skills have really changed the dynamics for players!SD Contest: This contest was highly enjoyable, thanks to the well-designed CSS and a solid amount of medallions available. The balance of challenge and reward made it engaging, allowing players to really showcase their skills.
Contest Superstars: The CSS were spot on this time, enabling many players to max out the event for the first time. It’s fantastic to see such a diverse range of Superstars being utilized, highlighting the creativity within our community.
Tours: Tours have been exceptionally well-executed, providing a great variety of CSS options. The thoughtful design ensures that each tour feels fresh and keeps players coming back for more.
Prizewall: The Prizewall was fantastic, featuring valuable items such as rare Superstar shards and plates. The quality of the rewards reflects a strong commitment to player satisfaction. However, some prices feel a bit steep and could benefit from balancing to maintain excitement.
Suggestions:
- MP Charge Perks: Consider expanding the MP charge perks to include three colors instead of two. This would offer players more options for diverse movesets and allow for greater Superstar variety, fostering even more strategic gameplay.
- Tag Teams: Updating the tag team format from two players to three would enhance gameplay fun and refresh the experience. It would encourage collaboration and innovation among players, making matches even more dynamic.
Overall, this has been an outstanding contest, showcasing the dedication to enhancing the gaming experience. I truly appreciate the effort that goes into these events and can’t wait to see what’s next!
Cheers!

I don't even bother really now if I look at the contest superstars and I've got 1 I'm lucky. Everything is so heavily weighted for the people who pay money the f2p never stand a chance.

Hi,
This showdown event felt very same-y from the ones we have had recently. I would like to see more options of superstars to get bonus points. Unless you spend, it really keeps your hands tied to do better in the contest. Also, the currency for the prize wall needs to be either easier to obtain, or the cost for items on the prize wall needs to be lower. At the very least make some plates more obtainable.
Thanks.

The new SD format on loots is a good improvement. I enjoy having one skill plate in the loot and one on the PW.
The Pricing on the PW was good this week. There was stuff for spenders and F2P peeps!
Technical - everything seemed to run fine. Returning the bonus energy from the tours to Saturday reset is a good thing!Player matching - this could use some tweaks, not sure how, but hate being 20K notoriety but still match against 9k opponents.
Keep it up!0 -
It was a pretty good event, first time lots of people able to reach 1.8+. milestones. Really well planned.
Faction contest is the best part of this type event, can be done 1% easily so lots of peoples were safe in their factions.
CSS and gem break rules selection in showdown were good. Aslo 16 energy is the perfect for lots of people instead of 8.
1 nod Tours are also the best part of the event, it gives variety to play with.
Pulls are worthy to go this weekend.
Shards loot is trash as always.
Prizewall needs to add some rare cards shards at less medallion prize as half of the people may not have more that 8k medallions.
Overall a playable event with some enjoyment. Not a hactic event for sure. We enjoyed both the game and life this weekend.

More characters to buy out right

I feel that this was a very average contest with low rewards. It was disappointing on a few levels, namely at the start of the whole contest when we were shorted energy to even play.

Showdown competition was challenging destroying green and black gems.Dealing damage with any Rhea, Bailey,Stacy was challenging.
Limited time tours was fair. I'm not sure if everyone has Zombie Undertaker for Friday tour. Tama Tonga was chase card, also was free.
Prizewall was good alot of plates everyone can use.
Overall great showdown I hope I get Zombie Bayley

1.Balance for Player Types: Contest structures heavily depend on Character Selection Screens (CSS), putting newer or free players at a disadvantage, while mild spenders progress quickly. Maintaining a balance for all player types is essential.
2.Solo and Faction Contests: Solo contests lacked enough shards for weekend characters, even i make a 3mega pull and several 7pull , it doesn't make it easy recruit bayley, while faction contests were too easy to max out. Some contests feel either too accessible or impossibly difficult.
3.Matchmaking Issues: Finding suitable opponents in Showdown contests remains difficult, requiring significant in-game currency.
4.Prize Wall Discrepancies: The shard values on the prize wall felt unbalanced, particularly with older characters being overpriced compared to more relevant, newer ones. The addition of plates was a positive change.
5. Grind and Reward Structure: There’s a need for better structuring in how points and rewards are distributed, ensuring that even new players can make meaningful progress while still rewarding those who spend more with quicker results.6.Tours and Contest Patterns: The tours lacked enough solo points and felt like a repetitive “copy & paste” from previous contests. Some patterns make contests too easy or too hard, with inconsistent difficulty levels across events.
This feedback emphasizes the importance of maintaining accessibility and engagement for both casual and more invested players, while also addressing core gameplay issues like matchmaking and reward balance.

You spend money on coins to get a chance of a new character and instead get 15 shards for characters you do not own. You feel robbed.

As others have mentioned, the bag drop rates for better tiered characters could have been more beneficial as it felt like it did not give out much of use.
I was also surprised that given it was bailey's weekend, how few shards were actually available for her to win through the milestone.

Things that I liked:
The requirements for the SD competition were very fair. Other than zBecky, all the other posters and their shards have been reasonably made available over the years. For the first time ever, I was able to get to the 700K solo points milestone in the SD contest which is a big win for me and it felt like as if I was rewarded for my grind in the Showdown matches. I wish the requirements in future are not as stringent as they have been in the past so we feel rewarded for our grind and efforts.
I ABSOLUTELY loved the Prizewall options/choices this time around. Lots of skill plates were up for grabs along with shards of powerful top tier superstars. It had something for everyone. No matter how much one spends on the game, there was something useful that one could take away from the prizewall, which has not often been the case in the past as many times I had to contend with only taking coins or TP or other resources. This time we could earn enough to get either a skill plate or shards without spending an excessive amount of money which is a change that I whole heartedly welcome.
Things that I did not like:
The ultimate title rewards from the faction contest were configured to give low percentage boosts which I did not like at all. In the past we have had “high power” title belt rewards that had 40-100% stat boosts instead of a measly 10 or 20% boost. Although the straps were genderless, which I like, the boosts felt lacking. I would like if the boosts were re-adjusted to be what they have been in the past.
I am not a fan of the new tour system. I liked the older system where you had lesser number of tours but there were more matches to do per tour. The newer system requires more CSS and that ramps up the difficulty. Many players in my faction struggled with the hell node wherein we had to use Striker Bianca if we did not have better options. Solo points were locked behind such difficult matches and as a result some players missed out on “free” rewards such as the Gold Chest in the solo contest.
My Suggestions:
Keep bringing on such amazing contests with awesome prizewalls. Make showdowns fair again with such reasonable CSS but please do something about the tours. Solo points should not be locked behind difficult matches because upgrading one poster for one match is not feasible. You can lock S or S+ tier shards as much as you like behind a very challenging match but the solo points must be winnable by the community at large. Not everyone has zLiv, powerhouse Bianca or other stronger variants of female posters. Those who have only one version of bianca, namely Bianca EST, struggled a lot with the tours while a few of them missed out on the gold chest because of that one match.0 -
this showdown seemed easier than recent weekend showdowns, in both the solo and faction contests. Maybe because I had more CSS this time, I don’t know.
the Bayley shards in the loot are depressing. Spending on two megas, and getting 90 shards from each, is a major feel bad. We also shouldn’t have such low amounts of prize wall medallions in the loot.
I did like having two bonus characters (Bayley and Bret) available for extra contest points.
Maybe having the window to earn energy reduced from 60 minutes to 45 minutes is a way to keep people more engaged on a SD weekend.

Feedback for the Soulless One Showdown Weekend Event:
What I Liked:
- Balance in Challenge and Reward: The contest felt much more balanced compared to previous ones. I was able to recruit Bret Hart earlier this week, and his use during the contest helped with some additional CSS points. This balance between challenge and reward is key to creating a satisfying experience. Showdown contests, which are usually punishing due to CSS restrictions, felt more enjoyable this time where I was only missing 1 CSS (Acro Becky), and it’s the most fun it's been with showdown for me personally.
- Flexible Requirements: The contest requirements weren’t overly restrictive, which was a relief given the typically difficult midweek requirements. This made it more accessible for players without locking content behind paywalls.
- New Showdown Tour Format: I really enjoyed the new Showdown (SD) tour format and bringing back 16 energy packs, and the decision to push the Chelsea tour back by 24 hours worked well. This change provided a smoother contest flow and allowed more players to engage without feeling rushed.
- Prizewall Selection: The prizewall had a well-rounded selection of shards and plates. Those who recruited Bayley early could fully enjoy these rewards, and it’s nice to see Showdown giving more tangible rewards for players who spend.
What I Disliked:
- Removal of Ruby Market and Lack of Alternatives: The removal of the ruby market without any alternative point methods was disappointing. While not directly part of the contest, many players rely on rubies to make extra progress. It felt like a missed opportunity to provide more ways to accumulate points.
- Limited Shards for Bayley: Despite hitting bonus milestones consistently, the number of Bayley shards available seemed too low. Even after spending significant effort, I expect to be hundreds of shards away from recruiting her at the end of the month. Players who put in the effort should be rewarded with enough shards to make recruitment achievable, especially for featured characters.
- Faction Contest Too Easy to Max: While I appreciate a straightforward faction contest, this one felt too easy. It would be better to have more dynamic ways to earn points rather than just breezing through milestones. Balancing faction contests to maintain engagement without making them too easy would keep things interesting.
- Matchmaking in Showdown: Finding the right match remains a frustrating part of Showdown contests. I often spend a significant amount of in-game currency just to find an opponent at my level. It would be helpful to have a more consistent matchmaking system based on notoriety or a cap that limits the range of opponents in each league. This would save time and resources, making the experience more enjoyable.
- Prizewall Shard Imbalance: The shard values on the prizewall seemed off. For example, The Undertaker’s shards were overpriced compared to Jacob Fatu’s, even though Fatu is currently more valuable in the game. This inconsistency in shard value makes it hard to justify purchases, especially when players are chasing new, relevant characters.
Suggestions for Improvement:
- Smaller, More Affordable Shard Packs: Introduce smaller, cheaper shard packs while maintaining the same value per shard. This would give players more flexibility in purchasing shards without feeling like they’re wasting resources on oversized packs.
- Balanced CSS for Showdown: For future CSS challenges, consider offering both a premium character and a free alternative. This would provide a challenge for those without premium characters but avoid completely locking out free-to-play players.
- More Accessible Showdown Coin Promoters: Although Showdown coin promoters aren’t "required," they’re almost essential for many players. Offering ways to recruit these characters without a subscription, and more avenues to earn IOW tokens and straps, would be greatly appreciated. These items could also be added to prizewalls during Showdown contests for better accessibility.
- Better Prizewall Balancing: There needs to be a better balance in how shards and other items are priced on the prizewall. Newer, more relevant characters should be prioritized, and older characters shouldn’t have disproportionately high prices. Also, reducing the cost of previously released plates would encourage more engagement with the prizewall.
- SD Opponent options: I previously mentioned this but I think it would be nice to introduce 3 tiered options for SD opponents based on their notorieties by having say if I am at 4500 notoriety, then I should be presented with SD opponents from Notoriety level 3000-4000, 4000-5000 and 5000+. It feels ridiculous to have to keep refreshing all my coins just to find the right opponent to face, what's worse is I spend more time looking for the opponent I want to face and by that time my defense streak is broken because someone else attacked me whilst I was spending all my time refreshing my SD opponents.
Final Thoughts:
Overall, this contest was a good step in the right direction, especially for Showdown events. However, maintaining balance across spending and accessibility is key to keeping all players engaged. Improving matchmaking, offering smaller shard packs, and rethinking shard values on the prizewall would help make future contests even better. Keep the positive momentum going, but please continue refining aspects that ensure a balanced, enjoyable experience for everyone.
