New Content Creator Idea

With how many people are actively on the CC team without actually making content or even playing the game, it would be nice to get some fresh faces and ideas in the CC space, and I think 2bob29 would be a valuable addition for the community especially with all the content he's been putting out on his own as of late.

I think new cc will give some different perspective to the game play . And there is no disrespecting to old cc .. and new cc will give new ideas also .. that's great for d community

so, coming back to this. We have cc’s who dont play the game, giving us information and set ups, and advising the community. We need new blood. There are eager folks who want to do this who actually care and put in work to help the community. We need to atleast have current playing cc’s. I know others in TH have been booted, due to inactivity or quitting the game. Maybe the same should be done with certsin cc’s??

I personally love listening to 2bobs roundtable podcast and getting various views across differing factions about each event and current state of the game.

I still consitantly watch the other CCs, but its refreshing having a different kind of media around the game.

Finding new content creators should not be an overly difficult task. There are a lot of players using Twitch (or that would move over) to be a content creator.

Prior-to-being-a-CC Audience Size should not matter a great deal either. Players who spend a lot will want content geared toward them (you have that with current CC’s).

Find a veteran of the game who grinds and performs well consistently without all the extra bells and whistles. Add them as a CC with access to the candy store and I almost guarantee your audience would see a massive influx of new viewers (if you advertise them!).

They can still show the “best” entourages but 70% of their content could easily be here is how I do it using only FTP (light spending) options and still manage to keep up.

Or as others have mentioned, veterans and grinders who are already placing highly.

Also, and I know I’ll get some hate for this, but on the official twitch channel don’t allow CC’s to advertise their OWN twitch channels. By doing so you are now essentially paying them via monetization from their own channel’s gaining subs/bits/viewership.

are they ambassadors of the game? Or paid employees once that line is crossed?

EDIT: if CC’s are paid in any fashion I am not saying I’m against that. They do volunteer portions of their time to assist and grow the game they love.

Reward their time, but do so with say a $19.99 portal code pack per stream on the official twitch channel. Or allow them to bank said “streaming points/dollars” to save up and exchange for a $99.99+ pack code.

This would ensure the content creators are actively playing the game currently, enjoy the product you make, and reward them with something of monetary value yielding the same odds at “spinning the loot” all other players have.
