This SD event was hands down the best of the best in a verg long time. Don’t know if it was a mistake or just a treat from the team since the wrestlemania week was upon us but man o man it was such a brilliant decision. I literally maxed the whole SD solo contest with very few matches and the fact CSS wouldn’t even matter if you have them or not which makes it much more fun for the players who never got the chance to get to the end milestone. Appreciate the discussion you guys made and let everyone enjoy their WM weekend with the families.

    • Even after all these flaws, The weekend SD was a lot better, fun and engaging and most of the mode upgrades works really nicely. 12 energies to start with was way better than the lesser ones we were getting previously. The steel cage rules eventually become more flexible and making it some what of a better experience. Still i think there are some pieces left behind that needs to get sorted. Specific era requirements like RA or MP reduction perks would have to make up for the lack of damage output. It doesn’t seem quite the right way to go with same thing happened when you were choose to do the restrict entourage abilities. It feels less enjoyable than more often dirty punishing games.
    • The solo event was easier to progress in, with good rewards. Limited requirements for the solo in terms of color and special gem types to break, which usually seems more of a focus on the faction part but i like this little change gives you much more control and depth in your roster lineup. The notoriety system doesn’t feel appropriate as it was before maybe because there’s no more streak counts but also feels that the SD coins payout was not enough no matter how high your opponent is or at what league players you’re competing against the rewards doesn’t seem to be working fine. In this case the SD promoters pretty much felt pointless and knowing that how hard players have worked for to take every single one of them. I always tend to go for leaderboards rankings but as the notoriety works it always feels the same throughout it doesn't feel as rewarding to go beyond that level.
    • Tours seems like another great way to score easy solo points. The CSS selection has been very flexible and gives every player a sort of equal playing field. Also nice to have a chance to pull the weekend poster out of those crates in hell mode with ofcourse needed insanely RNG luck to your side.
    • The prize wall was very generous with a lot valuable items and the packs were offered at a great value. We have been requesting for soo long now and finally glad to see this happen on weekend. Tons of shard options at different prices, straps, plates, tokens and resources. Such a nice collection of items that players could easily obtain by simply playing for a limited time. Whoever is behind this idea was deserves a shoutout for the amazing work that has been put into this event.

Concluding all these by saying that the SD weekend was absolutely fantastic. It’s probably the most fun I’ve had with a Showdown competition in quite some time and that’s entirely due to the scoring methods. If there’s something that should’ve make players to play more or giving them hard times with a specific type or characters they use in any modes, well, in that case the rewards for the grind should also be increased. I really hope this becomes a permanent approach to every SD contests that’s going forward. Glad to see that you guys taking the time considering players feedback and suggestions for the better part of upcoming events.

    Tours:

Some of the tours were incredibly difficult as they had the older versions of Cena as CSS which are very outdated. This seems like a deviation from last months where tours have been kept reasonable in light of the fact that new players may struggle in beating tour opponents as they may not have optimal straps, medals and entourage. This deviation is not appreciated. It just inflates the amount of time required to complete them without offering any satisfaction in completing them.

    Showdown Experience and Tournament:

The requirements were reasonable and the SD milestones were more obtainable which felt like a rewarding experience. I like the changes that you made to the SD contest structure and would like to see a repetition of this going forward. It’s easier to understand in terms of what we have to do to attain the rewards and makes the grind worthwhile- which is something the SD weekends were missing since a long time.

    Prizewall:

The prizewall this time around was great. While some shards were quite expensive, a fair amount of shards were reasonably priced which made the grind even more rewarding. It’s good to see the team make changes which makes us happier.

    Suggestions:

Please turn the difficulty of tours a bit down as they are the first source of solo points for everyone. If they are very difficult, it discourages players from investing more time and money into the weekend contest because if players think that they can’t do the tours, then they know they are missing out on points and so they may not play much then since they will likely be missing out on good rewards anyways.

  • The last time is now showdown

Overall I enjoyed the event, I thought it was very rewarding and it was a pleasant change to see such player friendly milestones and rewards.

I am still not fully sold on the new showdown format as I see great potential for unrealistic CSS requirements but this event did not have that and it was appreciated. For the first time on months there was positive discussion and motivation in the community and on social media, so it think that's s good sign and a right step in player retention.

It's better to have players happy, interested and wanting to play the game instead of grumbling about not enjoying it and constant talk of quitting.

I thought the prizewall rewards were good, a good mix of shards for different level players and at a reasonable price point.

Overall I think it was a homerun in all areas.

    Showdown Weekend Feedback

    Solo Contest

    • The solo event was very accessible. It used a variety of superstars that most rosters already have.
    • The difficulty was well-balanced. No need to use lots of resources just to complete tasks.
    • The event was quick and easy to engage with, especially during a busy WrestleMania weekend.

    Faction Contest

    • The scoring methods were broad (blue, trap, leech gem tasks, etc.), so everyone in the faction could contribute.
    • It was possible to keep earning points after maxing milestones, which made the event feel more rewarding.
    • The event encouraged teamwork and didn’t rely only on top-tier rosters.

    Showdown Mode

    • The contest scoring was very well designed. Dealing damage with specific characters worked great.
    • There were bonus points for using the same characters, which helped progress more smoothly.
    • The use of categories like “any RAW character” made it easier to use more of the roster.
    • The class/era bonuses (like +25% damage for Ruthless Aggression) felt too minor and easy to ignore.
    • It would be helpful to add more ways to get Showdown energy during the weekend.

    Prize Wall

    • Shard options were great, especially for characters like Jacob Fatu and Tech Charlotte.
    • Pricing felt fair overall.
    • Could use more variety like gear, moments, or themed items to make it more exciting.
    • Some outdated superstars in the prize pool could be replaced with more current options.

    Technical and Game Issues

    • Game performance was mostly stable. Faction chat had some issues again.
    • Boss Breakers still feel limited. Shields that ignore breakers make the feature feel pointless.

    Suggestions

    • Improve the impact of bonuses/penalties in Showdown to make them more strategic.
    • Add more ways to earn or buy Showdown energy.
    • Keep contests fair, accessible, and not overly paywalled.
    • Update loot pools and rewards to avoid giving out outdated superstars.

    Overall

    • This was one of the most enjoyable Showdown weekends in a while.
    • The scoring system, contest structure, and rewards made it fun and fair for all player levels.
    • Hoping to see this approach continue in future events.

Quality Prize Wall - good balance of options with appropriate pricing. I'm finding more and more that the Prize Wall, by itself, determines whether I will generally enjoy the weekend event or not.

Having said that, I was very disappointed to see that you erroneously left Showdown Event Points listed as the notoriety leaderboard rewards until after the event was over, and THEN converted them to Solo Points. I specifically stopped playing and did not use all my energy because Showdown Event Points were not worthwhile to me.

You might argue "Solo Event Points are always the leaderboard prize" - but you have made many changes to Showdown in the past month, so I had assumed this was just another one.

This is a case study in how easily you could have sent an in-game message about this. It would have taken you 10 seconds to write one sentence to clarify this mistake.

  • Thank u for letting us try to get all cena to gold wm41 was fun hank u

    Cordialement, Capinette.

leaving feedback for a shot at Cena 🤞

Overall the fued was great! Lots of useable characters for the bonus rewards which felt rewarding and worth while.

The extra bonus of the extra steps really helped with the scores and further encouraged performance (will consider getting future passes thanks to this!)

My favourite thing was big kevs revamp and new gear in the store which was cheap and affordable. As a long term player reusing and old superstar and being to get new gear was so cool and I’d love to see this more often!

The fued overall also felt better now there’s been an MP nerf to last months stars. It felt very much that every fued was stacked with the previous months stars and this was a breath of fresh air!

The steel cage boost to trap gems and leech gems was appreciated as it helps us rotate superstars which we may not of otherwise used!

I’d love to see more plates in the store for fued coins as they are becoming more and more important.

This was overall one of my favourite fueds so far! The fact it coincided with maina made it a memorable wrestling filled weekend 👏
