Ripley Reloaded Showdown busted out the wazoo

Have to say that getting defensively nailed by opponents an average of 45 minutes apart (sometimes a few in rapid succession) while it takes 2 hours per single energy replenishment has kept me from getting just about anywhere, alongside more powerful members of my faction.

Looking at the debit amount each defensive loss accrues, I can’t see a way that the wins would rapidly outpace it. Even with strong promoters… at one point, I was remotely defeated three times in the span of 10 minutes, losing 90 points right there.

Did anyone not have this issue?
