I don't know if it was because of perks (40% more health), steel cage rules/bonus, new 6 tier medals or a combination of these reasons, but to me this feud has been the worst I can remember!

It took too much time to win a match (when and if you win) so I just hit my faction minimum and stopped to play because it was too much frustrating, I hope this won't be the "new normality" because if so I think sooner or later I will quit for this reason.

There were many positive things about this contest that made is event somewhat different and even more interesting still there are some core issues that needs to be addressed. As far as the flash feud weekend goes wasn’t your best possible efforts.

Starting with the feud lineups, that weren't restrictive for most of the players which was actually pretty great. The change in the steel cage rules brings out more creativity and flexibility while setting up the team. The different perks inside steel cage for every feud makes it even more interesting than the actual feud perks. This gives you more control and diversity on your roster to take advantage of those perks and maximise their potential for better results. Being able to fill the middle lane for pretty much every feud with ease is soo satisfying and opens up soo many possibilities for players to experiment with the extra MP perk.

The rewards for this contest were also a step up too, The change in the domination chests were well received and appreciated by the community. I hope you continue to add on new content like moments, skill plates or rare superstar shards to keep it relevant and updated with the latest additions. Another example is the guaranteed strap with high end bonuses at 250-300M was a huge win. Been asking this for about months now. So, heads up on this and great job on this aspect.

Connection/stability issues across feuds meant that I had to do a lot of forced resets, sometimes at the expense of my wrestlers HP. There’s also a new bug that happens frequently with me. Whenever go to the entourage section and try to set up your trainers or coaches it didn’t let you do that so you left with no choice but to close the app every time to need to make any changes. It was quite an headache to deal with and i hope you already known this by now and we don’t have to deal with this anymore.

The faction contest was really lacking behind apart from the top factions there’s nothing to gain from the leaderboard rankings. My faction usually finishes in top 3 for pretty much each contest and the rewards were utterly useless. Apart from the event bags that carries out massive RNG to pull something useful, there’s not a single thing that solidifies it’s value. Bunch of worthless items like tier 5 flat medals, coins and resources that might be helpful if we were still in the 5 star meta. Would definitely recommend Tier 6 medals, Higher strap currency or something else to keep up with the current trends that will lead players to participate more effectively and make them feel more value for their time and efforts into the milestone rewards.

The LTT were easy to get done and the CSS options were widely available for the players. Not a huge fan of this new multiple release tour format with one match in each difficulty when you can simply get through them effortlessly in one shot and much less things to track down. Would be nice if the rewards were also be increased by the same number of tours.

The prize wall wasn't great either. The cost for some of the gears and shard selection is pretty ridiculous considering how expensive they are and how often they will come across to get the full poster. There were some big bonus straps for CSS but to be fair they were kinda pointless at the price they being offered. Majority of the players could not come close to the items they’re planning to buy and thus have to settle for whatever they could get their hands on.

Overall, some great new additions and ideas but still poor execution. There’s always room for improvement and i do understand that flash feuds were always kinda hard to make suitable for everyone but atleast try to make them worthy enough for players to enjoy and have some fun while competing in such formats. There’s ton of great stuff that you added recently and i do wanna give you all the credit. Hope you take this opportunity and look forward to the positive feedback from the community to make the experience even more enjoyable and worthwhile for everyone.

i believe feuds (especially flash feuds) are due a make over. Not so much in the U/X but more of the conditions and reward milestones to promote extended gameplay for users.

    what worked:

    • No Steel Cage restrictions
    • Decent CSS bonus requirements

    What needs improvement

    • indicator that shows which superstar you already used in the feud (to avoid mistakenly using him/her again and moss out on the bonus)
    • Search field for entourage (the filter doesnt cut it anymore)
    • More appealing rewards from the flash feud bags. The amount of shards isn’t that inspiring
    • I like the 2 new straps as the final milestone treats. Wish we had a chance for rare moments in between.

    Other game improvements

    • pls go back to the old midweek prize wall. That was one of those “aint broke dont fix” kind of things.
    • A means to recycle/trade unusable tokens and medallions in the inventory from old mlcs. Trade em for coins or TP or make a bazaar prize wall for it.

8 years and this game is truly part of my life. Thank you for continuing to innovate and making the game fun.

flash feuds are long they require to many top stars to make getting rewards worthwhile.
They could be made shorter and had more points avalible for using easier to get superstars.

Rewards are not worth the grind

More plates and medals 6s should be made avalible

  • Zackcress
    Zackcress Member

A little better than previous in that we were at least allowed to use the plates and things we have earned and purchased.

Take the steel cage out of the game. Go back to perks or figure something else out. Myself and the community have earned and purchased those things to make our rosters better and you nerf them every event now it seems.

Lower the amount if feuds to 2, or possibly 3, but 4 is too many and too time consuming in a weekend.

This is two or three feud prizewalls in a row that I felt were very fair and had good stuff on it so kudos on that. My complaint for a few months was that prizewall shards had gotten bad or unattainable and Scopely has fixed that. I was able to get 200 Lyra shards from this one and that was great. Was glad to see the PH Cody shards on there also if someone wanted to chase those.

No huge gripes from me on this feud other than I REALLY liked in previous flash feud having the 10mil stretch milestone. I saw on the blog it was advertised for this one and then was pulled. That was disappointing.

Tours: The CSS requirements were reasonable and the tour matches didn’t feel like drag so thanks for that

    Feud Perks+ Steel Cage Rules:

The steel cage stipulations allowed for higher damage, but the feud perks granting a 40% health boost to almost everyone watered down the effect. This massive boost slows down the game and feels artificial.

It seems like you've created a problem by making posters capable of reaching 100M damage with minimal effort. To counter this, you've introduced feud perks that provide an egregious health boost, requiring no strategy. As a player, I don't spend money on new posters to engage in lengthy matches. I spend money so I can expect to win quickly, given the raw damage output of premium posters.

But the current system is infuriating, as the feud perks undermine the purpose of purchasing posters. I'm not opposed to challenges, but there are better ways to create them without manipulating numbers and making winning a chore.

Posters with 99MP boost, equipped with Hall of Famers like Simmons, JBL, or Goldberg, surviving 100M damage is unhealthy for the game. Once again, the balancing measures taken seem to hinder the majority of the community, leaving a sour taste and diminishing our incentive to keep up with the game's pace.

    Feuding Experience:

My gameplay was not fun this time around. Almost every click that I made outside of a match was followed by red rings. I kept getting kicked back to the main screen after every feud win. I know I am not alone who faced this and other related server issues because there were complaints about it in the TH as well and what we were told was that content was being loaded on the portal. You, in my opinion, couldn’t have picked a worse time to make behind the scene changes.

    The Prizewall:

The prizewall was the only thing good about this contest. It was stacked with quality items and the medallion distribution was fair.

    Suggestions:

Can we have a feud that is not marred by server problems?

Lower the effects of free feud steps to 20% health instead of 40%. Allow players to buy the bigger 40% boost so that not everyone gets the 40% boost as that takes away the competitive nature of the feud.

The decision to make the middle lane Free to Play is appreciated, but it’d be better if the rarity requirement was to not exceed 6 star bronze. Considering how limited the MLC emblems have been this month, it is not reasonable to expect us to upgrade someone to 6 star silver just for 4-8 hours of feuding.

MiMissed most of the fueds again because of the time zones and the facf that its a weekend. Weekends are when we have to do grown up and adult things as we don't have time during the week because we are at work.

Whole mlc has been utter wank, messing with shit for no reason other than to get more f2p players into spending. Reduced the amount of tokens for prize walls, made it harder to get the tokens for chase characters and virtually destroyed the SD. Keep it up, please because 1000s will leave whatbis slowly becoming a complete shit show of a game.

I don't like how there are so many bugs and glitches with the game at the moment.

As for the contest, I also hate you have to have specific people/rare people to make any progress in a leaderboard contest. Very annoying.

Also, why does these fueds (1st and 3rd Feuds) start at 1/2am and finish at 8/9am UK time. Surely this has to be addressed to make the game fairer for everybody?

    Hope this can be addressed.

I actually enjoyed this contest. The addition of gears not only on the prizewall but also in the flash feud loot coin section was excellent. And although these steel cage rules were much better this time around I have to agree that a whole mlc is way too much. If you plan to keep this mode it would be much better to do it maybe 1 week per month. We pay for the things we want to use but you taking them away basically for all real contests this mlc left a bad taste in my mouth.

    Hello,

    In game name alpcno320.

    1. My experience in the flash feud was mixed. The limited CSS in flash feuds is making this event not something I want to spend long hours on compared to regular feuds. 4 CSS 2 times. Yes the points are high but the replayability isn't there.
    2. The matchmaking for the flash feud was much better this time. There wasn't that big a of a stretch when it came to power level between myself and my opponent so I liked that.
    3. The times...you have to do something about the time. More people miss out on flash feuds than any other event in the game. I've had more than a few people say they can't participate because of the time. I know it has to be different from the feud and the concept is a good idea but maybe make the times where it's convenient for all players.
    4. It seems like the point system is geared toward the players who have promoter's. Every match gives you a certain amount but not enough. A lot of factions require you get 10% of your roster. The top ones require you to get to at least the 100 million mark. Easier with promoter's but not without. Make a change to the point system.
    5. The tours were great. You take out one person and get a good amount of points several times with several different characters and having one specific tour with 4 matches is a great idea.
    6. The point system for the tours is fair. Whether you are free to play or a spender, everyone gets something out of it. Definitely an improvement 👍.
    7. The milestones are an improvement for the entire as well. although, the faction milestone for the flash feud were a disappointment. Very bare. Nothing much for the faction to strive for except the last milestone. Maybe put more so we hit harder. Like a better incentive than coins and strap medals.
    8. The leaderboard rewards where the top 3 get a poster should always stay. It's never me but at least it motivates people to try to get more points. The one where the showdown had punk as the reward for the top 3 leaders was a great idea. Did you see how many people kept fighting for that spot. A lot of people IMO participated to get top 3 Including myself.
    9. Here comes a dislike! The crashes! The glitches where the game crashes and the damage that was done before the crash isn't there anymore and the other player is at full health while I'm at 1 health. I crashed a lot in this flash feud losing so many health packs. Like a lot. At times the game froze. I thought it was just my phone but people in my faction had the same issue. It was more than a few people. I've never seen so many crashes in a flash feud before. Please, I beg of you...find a way where I'm not crashing a lot during a game and either having to wait for my health to recover, as the faction I'm in to help heal my superstar or spend a lot of health packs and come close to having none. Please fix the crashes!.

Otherwise, the stuff that worked was great. The stuff that didn't work sucked but scopely is constantly striving to get better so I'm sure the bugs will get fixed.

    Thanks again,

    Alpcno320

  • I’ll be straight forward. Four Flash Feuds, in comparison to something like the two 18 hour feuds, are draining. And after the Saturday AM feud, most of us are drained, and have lost our enthusiasm to do anything any longer.

This past week most of the set up was good, but no matter what, anytime I went to change an entourage, I was reloading the game. It didn’t matter what device I was using, what connection I was on. Not a thing made the slightest difference.

The tours this weekend were good, and the way they have been better factored into the contests is nice.

I appreciate the steel cage rules being toned back and letting us really feud as we love more than anything else. Hopefully that stays as we want it to.

Sorry I’m quick, and dodgy here. Only had a minute to write. Thanks for what you guys do for us. Y’all keep it up! 👍🏼

Great Event Overall, but Prize Wall Shards Need More Variety -

I really enjoyed the event overall—the feuds kept me engaged throughout. The contest felt rewarding in some ways, but a few aspects could definitely be improved to make it more enjoyable and less repetitive:

    What I Liked:

       •    The structure of the event was solid, and it was fun to participate.

       •    Flash Feuds always bring a competitive edge, which makes the game exciting.

       •    The milestones and progression felt reasonable, making it possible to engage without feeling too pressured.

    What Could Be Improved:

       •    The Prize Wall shard selection felt too limited. It would be great to see a wider variety of shards available, so players have more choices based on their roster needs. Having the same superstars repeatedly makes it less rewarding.

       •    The Tours felt repetitive. While I understand that they’re meant to provide additional ways to use other superstars, having the same rewards across multiple tours instead of just 2/3 makes them feel more like a time sink than an engaging challenge.

       •    Flash Feuds are already time-consuming, so adding more tours and time on menus on top of them can make the event feel overwhelming rather than fun.

    Suggestions for Improvement:

       1.    Increase the variety of Prize Wall rewards—not just different superstars but maybe more unique options like older posters that are no longer meta or usable but players want access to.

       2.    Make tours feel more rewarding—perhaps introduce different styles of play rather than just grinding a base tour for the same prize over and over

       3.    Balance the event pacing—with Flash Feuds already demanding a lot of time, additional content should complement them rather than feel like another grind.

Overall, it was a solid event, but these small tweaks would make it much more enjoyable and rewarding for players. Looking forward to seeing how future events improve!

p.S would love CM Punk on roster… so happy to see his return to wrestling and finally back home in WWE !

Why do you keep asking for constructive criticism again and again. As all you do is mostly copy and paste the same events (from previous showdowns, faction feuds, boss battles) and the only difference is changing the bonus superstars needed and the name… as when the player base actually has legit complains that hinders them, it’s ignored for a long time… but god forbid if it affect your bottom line, it gets fixed IMMEDIATELY!!!

However, I will keep posting this for ever single event (which will cover not just this event) since all I’m doing this more is for the ‘chance’ (even though it’s slightly rare) of enter the lottery to get the superstar

Put a cap on gem and move defense and offense! I should not have to take 5 attempts to beat someone just because they have over 100% gem defense and have every single gem give 1 damage. And to those who say I just need to boost up my gem offense to counter that, I say that I should need to reconfigure my roster because the developers were lazy as f and didn’t think the players were going to exploit it

Give us more options than just one for faction partner’s in feuds. I’m sick and tired of queuing up and getting someone who has over 2x or 3x more talent. So more options would be nice

Please offer recycling events more often as even after the last event, my inventory is still filled with junk that’s from years ago. I would think clearing out all that useless day would help the game run smoother.

LASTLY- CAN YOU PLEASE POST THE BLOG POST FOR THE EVENTS AT THE SAME TIME AS YOU HAVE SOMEONE OVERANALYZE IT ON TWITCH AND TAKE FIVE TIMES AS LONG TO READ THE SAME M’FING THING!

  • Doe83
    Doe83 Member ✭✭

The event and rewards were good, definitely fair for where we are in game right now. My only suggestion is, and I’ve given it before, make the queuing system for like faction boss. Give factions the ability to collaborate, so it is easier to run similar lineup models.

Positives: The CSS were very accessible, or at least had a few variations/options that users could use. The Additional Color Gem and Gem Type buffs "baked" into the feud is a positive. it was displayed very well, and the UI elements were easy to read and interpret with each feud.

Negatives: Current Feud State and Future Feud States

With T6 medals and increased Health buffs, we are again creating a serious rift/gulf between the F2P and Low Spend Players ….and the Higher Spend Players. For all intents and purposes, the minimum damage to win turn 1 is increasing to roughly 90-110 Million when you factor in at least 30% Gem Damage Reduction. With higher spend players having greater access T6 Medallions and the newer characters hitting significantly higher in the same meta, Feud is starting to feel a lot more like "Pay to Win".

This will be far more pronounced with female feuds as their Maximum damage in a lot of the main meta characters are limited.

With t6 Medallions having such a major impact, you will likely be required to add significant gem damage buffs to be competitive. A temporary reduction in Feud until we get close to a larger distribution of t6 medallions may need to be considered.

I'm cautiously hoping this was an over-calculation of the gem damage reduction and impact on feud. If this is intentional, you are basically establishing a new META for damage which requires significantly greater purchasing to stay competitive. I'd like to hope this is not an effort force the top 50 factions to spend to be competitive.

Feud is awesome. Plenty of opponents and great teaming up with faction mates. The rewards felt lackluster this go around. It needs better moments and skill plates. Make the grind worth it.
