I really liked about this event that CM Punk has a PG era. I really missed such fighters from this era. now, for me, this is the most desirable personage, especially in a feud.

I like the game a lot but I do feel like u should make charthers more free to play for those who are free to play I do enjoy this game and this event but I feel like the game could do I little more to make s+ tier characters more Available to the community in the near future especially when most of the community is free to play and I hope u guys do that In the future because it would definitely make the game Less predictable and more enjoyable for players

I just looked at the characters needed to get points in the cm punk showdown competition and saw that there is only 2! I fail to understand why there is only 2 when every other time there’s multiple characters so you have more ways of getting higher in the contest. I understand that you are a company and need to make money but you are taking all the fun out of the game. Like today there was only two (unless you got punk) normally there’s more than this, I hope you can take this into account and remember that we come here to have fun and play your game so we can escape what’s going on in our real lives and when we see changes like these it’s really disappointing and disheartening when the weekend contest has so little for us players to actually take part in. Thx

  • I really liked the PG era of CM Punk but......... You should have added his SES mask look as his gear

Honestly, why do you keep asking for constructive criticism when you barely listen to the player base anyways.

That being said: STEEL CAGE IS THE MOST WORTHLESS ADDITION TO THE GAME

So you create things like belts, medals, trainers, and all these things that makes some characters actually playable then steel cage gives the players a nice crotch chop to that

The developer who came up with this idea should be thrown into an active volcano

ALSO: PLEASE POST THE BLOG POST FOR THESE COPY AND PASTE EVENTS WITJ A DIFFERENT COAT OF PAINT AT THE SAME TIME AS YOU HAVE SOMEONE OVERANALYZE AND TAKE FIVE TIMES AS LONG TO READ THE SAME M’FING THING!

the event is great. Love the cage rules, it makes you think. I would though like to see more solo missions on Saturday (during showdowns) to help get more energy. Maybe use superstars from the previous month, using the recap idea to give those that earned those superstars a chance for more energy. If you are in a smaller faction this would help reach the gold chest if you are not a big spender.

the milestone with the 700k points is unobtainable without the css. If we weren’t limited on the showdown energy it would be a grind but that would be a choice. I would honestly probably grind for it. We either need more energy, no energy limitations or the milestone with points should be accessible without the css. It’s really pigeonholing us.

This showdown is a straight edge disaster

Looks like You guys miss calculate the points for non bonus solo context milestone

Base on my calculation, a lot of players will miss the non bonus final milestone by 50k/60k . And that includes been part of top 600 to 2000 in showdown. You own everyone about 50k/60k.

    Showdown vs premium showdown

Can we make it to where regular showdown starts first on Friday until Saturday and make premium showdown starts Saturday until Sunday and can we have 30 minute can refills instead of an hour wait I'm sure you guys can scale the milestones higher if need be to keep the same amount needed to reach certain milestones. The milestones bonus should definitely be closer to achieving and please can you add a free to play character to help free to play players achieve the second bonus milestone that would encourage players to stay more engaged on the app or may encourage to spend money. We also should be able to spend our in game coins on can refills it should be unlimited or at least 25 available that we can buy with our in game coins.

    Steel cage rules.

Alot Of the community including myself work hard for our straps, entourage, skills plates , etc. For steel cage rules I recommend not taking away any of our hard earned attributes but instead of that turn steel cage rules into a mixture of stipulation and extreme rules you have 5 or 3 turns to beat someone and if you haven't beat them in the amount of turns allowed your health disappears or you lose all of your attributes such as straps, entourage etc. Also can we please keep the cans to 16 never anything lower.

    What I liked.

Only thing I did like was the new feature showing who on your roster can break leech gems row breaks etc please keep this as my wife and I l Ioved that we find characters who can do what is required.

I really like having a new cm punk in the game. I really don’t like the steel cage showdowns and the batteries/charges so limited on how many matches you can complete. I have always loved the unlimited showdown matches and if it was going back to unlimited every showdown medallions after completing matches go towards solo contests because right now the requirements to get enough points is impossible to get 700,000 solo points toward solo contest. Another thing, agents shouldn’t be encouraging you to spend money on batteries/charges on all these showdown contests as for years they were unlimited matches.

This weekend was definitely a miss. Tours were very lacking specifically on Friday where there was one tour with about six matches. Shardless weekends are also hard to get excited for. The biggest problem yet again is the steel cage showdown. Taking away things like skill plates which people put alot of time, effort or money into getting is a massive slap in the face. Why bother spending if your just going to take it away? Would much rather go back to basics for contests.

What I enjoyed about this contest:

Engaging Gameplay The Steel Cage rules always brings a dynamic that required a different approach to matches, making it more skill-based and to utilize more things you have to get a win making it challenging.

Love the variety of plates on the prize wall

    What I didn’t like:

Lack of solo contest points without heavy spending. Which results in lack of prize wall medallions to obtain those wonderful items that were offered.

Lack of showdown CSS for showdown tasks minimizing players without showdown promoter coins can obtain that milestone to get the additional 700k solo points. Requiring additional spending on energy.

CM Punk in loot was only offered with gear so immediately you knew when you spun the loot if you got him or not that is very devastating a turn off. I typically would have given it more opportunities but for that reason only I decided to steer away and save money

Lack of tours on Friday again for the people that didn’t get lucky in getting CM Punk.

    What I would change:

in my honest opinion I felt like the first MLC showdown for dirty Dom structure was just right. The prize wall rewards+medallions were grindable enough to not spend extremely heavy and the rewards were decent so I’d go back to that format.

Also that structure in the dirty Dom showdown contest of obtaining the 700k for the solo contest points from the show down tasks via CSS were much better aligned with not having buy packs of energy I’d love to see that more accessible.

Loot results were extremely difficult to obtain CM Punk. If it’s going to be that rare give the people not lucky more tours to do on Friday like you have done in the past giving us a little bit more resources/medallions and solo contest points

while the rewards choices were nice I’d like to see shards more premium how they were last feud. That was a very nice selection.

    Final Thoughts:

The Straight Edge Showdown Competition with Steel Cage Rules was decent , but With slight refinements in obtaining solo contest points and making it a less spending for the energy could become an even more enjoyable and widely appreciated contest in the future. I felt like I spent the same amount of money in energy than loot pulls. It hardly made a difference at the end. The solo contest points were just so difficult if you didn’t have Punk or Hornswoggle. Why not throw in some more CSS like utilize all the MLC new posters like it’s implemented in flash feud. And I don’t mind spending money on loot pulls even if I don’t get anything in the loot but at least let me progress better in the contest.

This has to be by far the worst loot I have ever seen. Not in terms of RNG but the fact that CM PUNK was only won if you saw an 8 for a $20 pulls, a 2 for a single pull or 41 for the $99 pulls. The disappointment people felt knowing that if they didn't see either of those 3 numbers they wouldn't get the featured poster was VERY VERY LOUD!!!

This was a turn off for a lot of people. They know now that in the future when a new superstar is advertised and it only comes with gear, the odds of getting that superstar is less than 1 percent. You took away people's hope. Many factions and players voiced their disappointment amongst one another and now they won't spend when they see an event like this.

They might have spent now hoping they'll get him but the very many people who didn't get him, won't spend.

Dj said it best …we all lost this week when he did the loot.

As far as the showdown, the match system in the next one I hope is better. The match making this weekend sucked! It was horrible. For people using showdown coin promoters it was fine. The ones using notoriety, it was a chore. To constantly spend coins to get someone who is a higher level than you took a lot of coins and time. It sucks. I'm hoping the next iteration of this showdown will fix that.

The tours, I like the point system where it helps both faction and solo player.

Listen, we do this every month. It's the same events every month. How many different shades of the same horse do you want?! There's only so many things people can suggest before it gets repetitive. We need change. It starts with the new showdown. I hope it continues along that path.

    Take care,

Look in my eyes, what do you see more steel cage rules for free.
Yeah it’s a lot having this for everything now. I get the challenge aspect but I keep thinking about the newer players that must be struggling a lot. Less frequent please.

Showdown contest was another copy / paste. That 1800000 milestone while I understand it’s a stretch, the 700k contest points would be nice to get one day. Too many hard css, I play all weekend and always fall short. Even making an old superstar that we are forced to take up would be better so more csn get there. Very few have Howdy.

Prizewall again too high. It shouldn’t be a paywall, we get that spenders deserve stuff but chuck a bone to the grinders too. If you want good word of the game spread to increase the player base, price more in the range of the low spenders/ftp more range of shards etc.

As it stands I’m not sure how many promoters the game has, we’re all hooked for sure, but I can’t recommend the game for too many reasons.

That face of Punk too, looks nothing like him. Still would take him in my roster of course but maybe get the team to spend more time getting him to look right. Great add pg though. Maybe an mlc of PG based stars/reworks too? PG Cena should be OP.

I liked the contest - it was a bit frustrating that I couldn’t pull CM Punk and so I really missed the possibility to get Card & Gear from the Pricewall. Even if I wasn’t successful: it was good to hunt him on the sd leaderboard. I am still not sure if I really like steelcage rules, but maybe this will come. 😅

    Faction

The Faction-based Showdown contests are excellent when you’re in a good faction. It allows each player to contribute by breaking specific gems, while not punishing the individual player for not having every required character like in the Solo contests. As someone with none of the required characters for this Showdown, I enjoyed feeling that my efforts are impactful to the faction’s progress in the faction contest. It also made me use characters I normally wouldn’t.

    Solo

The Solo contest was solid, with pretty friendly character requirements. I wasn’t punished for lacking a CM Punk, which was a pleasant surprise.

The Solo side of the Showdown contest was also pretty friendly with requiring only certain tags/links for doing damage (Wyatt Sicks, etc.) instead of only requiring specific characters. I really liked that. It led me to using characters I normally don’t, and all of those contest requirements felt very achievable.

    Milestones

The Gold Chest milestone continues to feel like an achievable goal, which is nice. The first couple of milestones beyond it generally don’t feel great, though. The majority of prizewall tokens are locked behind those highest milestones, which is a bummer.

    Steel Cage

The first few attempts at the Steel Cage restrictions were rough and felt very not fun. This most recent attempt with the Showdown surprised me. It felt a lot better than they had previously. Providing damage bonuses and limiting the restrictions to only Entourage and Title Medals made the mode feel much less punishing. It also helped nudge me towards using characters who benefit from the month’s Showdown perks (+MP to Black and Purple) or characters still holding the +99 MP from last month (Radical Seth Rollins carried most of the Showdown for me once I hit all of the other required contest goals). This felt like a definite step in the right direction for Steel Cage as a mode. I would prefer it if it only came up once per month though. It’s still a bit too restrictive, so it feels more punishing than rewarding.

    Technical Issues

The recent patches significantly cleaned up my experience all-around, with one major exception – Faction Chat. It definitely is still busted and has been for at least one month by looking at my Faction’s chat history. I run the game on an iPhone 16.

The only other issue I see is the new CM Punk’s face. The Voice of the Voiceless card art looks phenomenal, the gear all looks right, but the character model’s face just doesn’t look like Punk.

    Prizewall

The CM Punk prizewall has been fine. I still feel like tokens are far too scarce to really make the prizewalls rewarding, though. I was hoping to finally unlock tech CM Punk, but I could only get his shards once, so that was a bummer.

The current zombie prizewall has felt much better and more rewarding, since tokens are more readily available and achievable. The prizes also seem more achievable with their costs.

    Conclusion

The only bottleneck left for me lately is shards for evolution. Since each character requires color AND style-specific shards, I’ve been so crunched on certain characters that they’ve been stuck at certain levels since I just can’t get enough shards. Providing more avenues to specific shards would be a fantastic boon. The coin bottleneck and TP bottlenecks feel resolved through the Showdown token store, which was really nice. Both are also regularly rewarded at really nice levels, smoothing out the overall game experience.

I really liked making the previous month’s MLC chases requirements for the following month, especially in Faction contests. It makes the chase feel more rewarding with the knowledge they will be immediately important for future progress. Making them more of a requirement in Faction-specific content is also a nice touch, since not everyone will get them. It feels good to not be punished for not getting the high-tier chases (S and S+ characters), though I wish their shards were available in higher amounts in the following months. Taking away the extra month of +99 MP is a bummer though. It takes away some of the reward for chasing the monthly characters.

My biggest complaint this month is with the Armory tokens. The Rhea Ripley rework has been phenomenal and made an unused character much more fun. But getting the Armory tokens to push further down this contest has been vague. Previously, having collection items for this type of contest (CSS balloons/VHS tapes, etc.) made it much easier to understand what needed to be done to max the contest by the end of the month. With these Armory tokens, I have no idea what to work towards to continue working on this contest. The Armory token spending itself also feels very unrewarding. The loot options for them seem incredibly poor.

I am personally enjoying where the game is at, and where it looks to be heading.

    Have a nice day!

The steel Cage rules for this event was not an issue with maxed SD perks. At this point, that is pretty easy to earn those perks, this far into the MLC. I found no issues especially with tag links.

For the faction rank, I would like to suggest adding another task on Sunday. It does not have to be a bunch since there is only a few hours left on reset. There were allot of factions pretty close around rank 8-12 at one point, and if your faction maxed all the task from Saturday, the only other way to move up was spending. Please consider.

Continuing with the faction contest, there seems to be a big difference in rewards. Rank 4-10 ended up with 4,000 SE medallions and rank 11-20 ended with 2,000 SE medallions. For future faction SD ranks please consider making the reward a little higher. Maybe rank 11-20 ends up with 3,000 instead of 2,000. Thanks. Also, the cash for medallion was a nice touch since we earn double points for the faction event for the first 24 hours. I hope we see offers like this in the future.

The prize-wall had allot of variety which is great to see. I was surprised to see the gremlins plate was more medallions than the d-von specs. Those should have been half the cost they are. Still no Lyra Valkyria shards. I think she has become forgotten. I thought it was nice that you offered low cost-shards for an old poster like Shayna. I was disappointed to see only a 1 time buy for Bam Bam shards. Considering he has been out for over 6 months now and we have updated and better male New Gens, this really should have been a 2-purchase buy. His shard cost was very fair. The prize-wall is going in the right direction.

I will say I do like the overall design of the new CM Punk poster. The art team did a great job on his gear and over all look. I think facially this punk poster looks more closer to him than the tech version. I am also glad to see a new PG poster. I wonder if there are any PG posters already in the game that will get a move update. That could be fun. Please consider.

Tours were fine as usual. CSS variety was very fair. I think the tours just continue to work out great for weekend events.

Overall, pretty chill weekend event. No issues for my time playing. Nice work.

I'm going to keep harping on this: there is not enough stuff to do on Friday and Sunday for a showdown contest. Considering how far away it is to max the solo event without spending, I think it would be cool if there were opportunities to get more points without spending. Which you can do if you give more to do on Friday and Sunday.

    1. I did enjoy the steel cage rules for the showdown. The steel cage rules are a nice addition as they allow for the use of different superstars and require a bit more thinking when doing your matches to make sure to get the required points needed.
    2. As has been the case with most of the previous showdown events, the stretch milestone with the 700k solo points and the bonus bags was completely out of reach for most of the free to play (f2p) players and this time around even more difficult for some of the spenders. This has been a pretty big issue personally as I can rarely ever get to the stretch milestone and I have been playing the game since release (i am f2p so am missing some rarer css ppl most of the time). But I hope in future showdowns, espcially the revamped sd coming, that the stretch milestone is a bit easier to obtain for most people
    3. Again another typical case for weekend showdowns has been the lack of currency for the pw that can be obtained free. I rarely ever finsih with more than 4k pw currecny which is never enough to be able to get something worthwhile from the pws. In the future I would hope that slightly more currency is available so that people are able to get a bit more from the pw.
    4. I find showdown weekend to be the worst out of all 3 (fued, sd, bb) as again to the point above, the lack of currency makes it less desierable to participate as I know there will be little to nothing to show for playing. At least for fued weekends, f2p people are able to commit more time if they choose to obtain more pw currency, but for showdowns you can't do anything apart from spending to get more currency. I would love for their to be more option to get currecny for the f2p people which even if made difficult, would at least allow for the ability to obtain to more currency if people choose to put the time into it.
  • overall, the showdown was enjoyable to play. I would like to make a couple of observations. First, though the steel cage rules make the game a bit more challenging, it seems tough to have spent all of the building up the superstar by using multiple resources. When resources and other items have been utilized to have advantages, it seems about the time a superstar has great advantages are suspended. Second, the showdown was challenging and competitive!

  • Bolobeast100_

Showdown Competition: The first slot being open was good. Gem break and damage task was challenging but fair.

Limited time tours for CSS was fair.

Prizewall was good alot of plates and shards for characters. But should put more medallions in milestones.

The 1.8 mill milestone with 700k is to difficult to reach without css.

  • Drocity21

Great event overall, smooth gameplay and I experienced little to no bugs during my matches. I think the prizewall should be revisited. It's disheartening when you grind the event, get as high as you can and do not have enough currency to claim one of the better items on the prizewall. I'm not saying the newest plate needs to be available for free to play players but there's some plates on there (hard times plate for example) that a free to play player should be able to grind towards. Overall great event.

Showdown event overall was good. Instead what I want to comment on is the Steel Cage Rules and what I see as the current problem.

I personally don't have an issue with steel cage rules. It adds some variety and makes players think, forcing us to do things we normally wouldn't do. That is good. It keeps the game fresh.

However, when you think about a WWE show, there will be one steel cage match or one match with stipulations, or maybe at the most two matches with stipulations. Every match in the show will not a be stipulation\steel cage match. This is the problem in game right now. We get a whole month of steel cage rules, and it gets exhausting and frustrating for players. If there was only one event this month with steel cage rules, it wouldn't be as big an issue.

Keep the Steel Cage Rules to add variety in the game. BUT only have them be in one or two events over the course of the MLC that have these rules.

  • Cheeseman69

Overall this was a solid event, with reasonable requirements. Haven't been minding steel cage lately as the lack of entourage when we have mp buffs from showdown actually works quite well. But I do think the sheer amount of steel cage requirements we're getting is a bit much - in my opinion there should be a minimum of two weeks between steel cage requirements.

The prizewall is OK, but there's a lack of any goodies in between than 5 to 10k mark, you're limited to the lesser rewards. I wish there were some more staggered rewards.

Cheers and looking forward to seeing how the showdown changes play out!

Let's take a closer look at the event:

    Good:

    1. CM Punk PG era
    2. Good prizes in the faction event
    3. showdown conditions (the pros and cons of a steel cage are well thought out)

    Bad:

    1. Prize Wall (inflated prices on almost all products)
    2. Donation pools (too small chance to get anything valuable)
    3. Meaningless things in the sd event (maximum 500 coins and also random shards of old characters)
    4. Useless donation pools (yes, another useless additional pools that fall out of pools in which the chance of getting something valuable is 1%)

Let's sum it up: A huge number of useless long-term pools, stupid extra milestones. A passing event made in a hurry to squeeze big money out of people on the desire to get a character desired by many. I give it 1/10 for the terrifying greed (with each event the greed is more and more)

The SD event with steel cage rules wasn’t as bad as the previous one’s because of the bonuses you added but i’d say lower level players or new comers still suffers a lot than a average player who have decent talent and multiple options to make the best decision.

For instance, the main highlights were the steel cage perks that comes without the mp reduction, entourage and strap bonuses. Majority of the people sets up MLC characters at defences who still have the 99MP intact and comes out fully loaded because there’s no MP reduction perks this time and top of that you can’t have the plates and entourages. These type of restrictions strictly affect a mediocre player and lead them to lose their chance in any futher tournaments. You could definitely argue that this time around it wasn’t kinda felt like the worst nightmare as it was last month still there are some major problems and issues that needs to be addressed and will refined this node to the greater extent possible.

The character design for the new CM PUNK was kinda underwhelming the fact that we already have an existing poster which looks way more realistic and has better facial recognition. Even though the art team did his best work but could’ve been more creative with the facial details. Would love to get my hands on him since there’s not many viable options in the PG era for now.

CSS list is somewhat more accessible this time but still there’s a no chance that you could reach to the 700K milestone in the solo event. Lack of CSS options which are massively paywalled characters are making it even more difficult to come closer to that certain level where it makes sense for rewards/medallions but it feels totally worthless to push yourself into the grind. It hardly made a difference at the end. The solo contest points were just so difficult if you didn’t have Punk or Hornswoggle. Why not throw in some more CSS like utilize all the MLC new posters like it’s implemented in flash feud. Everything else is basically gets sidetracked simply because when you have bigger things to deal with.

LTT were great as usual. The CSS selection was pretty fine. It’s nice to have some varieties in the tours for everyone to get decent solo and faction points.

Personally, i’d say this showdown competition with steel cage rules was decent but the quantity needs to be balanced. So far, this whole mlc was designed solely for the steel cage rules. Once a month or even twice would make it much more efficient and less stressful. If it continues to be that way it’s just a matter of time before people start to fed up with these events and soon they won’t even care about it. which will fuming the situation even worse than this. So, i really hope you guys take some serious steps in maintaining the trajectory for upcoming events and build some trust towards the community because from onto it’s just not going to work out the way you did in the past.
Personally i’d give steel cage rules another shot to possibly make sure the best experience and potential it offers for the future. Overall a decent kinda weekend event for sure atleast for me. The steel cage holds a great value and potential if you just keep it straight with slight adjustments it would be more enjoyable and widely appreciated among players, i’d rate this as a solid 7/10.
