Why Are Blogs Always Delayed? Clarify Your Stance!

Seriously, what’s going on with the blog uploads? First, the MLC blog was late, and now even the weekend blogs aren’t being uploaded on time. The weekend contest starts in 4 hours and still the blog is no where to be seen. If the content creators are reading them before posting, why the delay? Are we expected to just rely on official content creator videos instead of reading the blogs ourselves?
Not everyone can join live streams or sit through videos—some of us prefer reading at our own pace. If there’s a reason for these delays, at least be upfront about it. Is this a shift in how content is delivered, or just poor scheduling?
Please clarify your stance. If blogs aren’t a priority anymore, let the community know so we’re not left waiting.

Due to feedback about errors in the blogs the uploads have been delayed until more finalized information is available.

Good news! The blog is now available

Oh wow, weekend event 2, and still no blog on time—it's 6 hours till the weekend event starts. Who could have seen this coming? I’m guessing we’ll hear "Due to feedback about errors in the blogs, the uploads have been delayed until more finalized information is available." again.
But since everything is always subject to change anyway, maybe just upload it as-is after you read it on stream? At least that way, people have something to refer to on their own.

Yeah I for one have an EXTREMELY hard time believing so many people complained that the blogs are unpostable until like, 2 hours before the start of the contests, especially considering the disclaimers are still there. I just find the lack of blog to read before the events mildly irritating.

Just release the blog when the CC starts.
Cant stand the CCs

@DKMangler @Stagger Lee Do you care to reply or not ?

Still the same response. Feedback from the community is overwhelmingly they don't want the blog posted until it's finalized. it's been repeatedly changed and the feedback always returns to that so I don't expect it to change anytime soon.

I understand your point and accept your perspective. If the blog is to be posted only after all elements are finalized, it would imply that no further changes can be made to the event once it is published. This aligns with the reason for the delay in the blog’s release, which is to ensure that only finalized information is shared. Can you please confirm?

Shouldn't it be proofread before the CCs get it?

Ideally, sure. But let’s be real they just want as much time as possible to get the blog up and hopefully avoid mistakes. Even when they upload it after hours, they slap on the usual “subject to change” disclaimer, just in case they mess up the event or contest. It’s not about precision it’s just them covering their backs in all the situation.

No, this would imply as accurate as possible close to the event. Subject to change is always in play, even after an event has launched
