Feedback: I am extremely disappointed in this contest. I love the concept of this contest(and I'm assuming future web coin shop purchases and items). However, the execution and offerings were extremely poor and overpriced. Note: These are not "medallions" that we get from RNG from a contest. These are from spending…..AND there is an option to purchase webcoins which have a very specific monetary value you can assign to each offering.

    The Good

    1. The ability to purchase shards for B tier class specific types is a great option. While still pricey from just a monetary value, it gives the option for specific control in acquiring needed shards. We have the Cash Loot, and the Web Coin Loot is a great option if one was inclined to use resources on that.

    2. The Specific plate purchase gives user a chance for some mid-tier plates they may have been able to acquire Previously. not everyone has access to a faction that hits all of the milestones. It allows some balance and an option for limited spending compared to the benefits received from the top factions. The Random Plates, that's a different story…but inline with milestone rewards so I can't complain on that.

    The Bad

    3. IOW Affiliation Straps - 22,000 webcoins is the equivalent of $400 according to the Web coin purchase. I am fortunate that I actually had enough to be able to consider this purchase, but the Random RNG elements of the strap is infuriating. For an item priced this high, the RNG needs to be removed, or clearly stated. Nowhere on the Icons did it mention a Random Class.

    4. 130% Gem Damage Class Belt - the 8,000 webcoin price was enticing, until we again found out the Random Era. That is $150-160 for a random era chance. Let me Repeat, $150 Monetary for a belt with a guaranteed Class, but random gem strap. What is the probability or estimated number of pulls to get the desired outcome? How is that a viable choice for a user? I would much rather have an option for a guaranteed belt class/type for a higher price, or a lower Damage modifier.

    The Ugly

    5. At the time of writing, the closest faction is 37 million away from maxing the milestone rewards. No one is getting close to a MEGA pull.

    6. If one were to get a MEGA PULL, unless you get very lucky and pull one of the top 2 medallion pay outs, you are still not getting close to a viable reward. Faction Maxes a "ridiculously overestimated milestone, and gets little to no reward.

I haven't pulled yet, but I'm fortunate to be in a faction that will receive more pulls than most. Even so, the average medallion count without RNG will probably be around 8-9 medallions. that is not enough for truly anything.

    7. Because of the RNG elements, the only individuals who can purchase belts and other items, are individuals who have already spent significant portions on this game. They likely have acquired most of the stuff being offered, which is why I'm guessing the milestones are "far" less than an analyst would expect. Outside of the Affiliation Belt, there is very little that is being offered.

This event has become even worse than the SPEND event for acquiring Werewollf Ozzy. This is not the direction you want to go. The Web Portal has the ability to help balance the game and allow users the recourse to obtain resources and material. It could allow individuals to supplement their gameplay with reasonable purchases.

From a business standpoint, a positive experience for The user when spending on the game, the more likely they will spend again . the "foot in the door" sales tactic. You have a chance to offer reasonable purchases to entice players to spend, and a good outcome will likely lead a positive experience and more. The Web Coin shop has the potential to be a viable option for the mid-tier spender. We already have the HIGH spend contests and UCC. This is a possibility for users who aren't at that level spend-wise, to have some reasonable offerings as well. I don't have the data, but I would guess the expected financial return will fall short of estimates/forecasts.

Additional Note: Affiliation Belts - Offering Affiliation belts for IOW is a great option, the price was way to high for the RNG elements. But offering Affiliation belts for other aspects, such as the default 4 MP superstars (or their class/era) is something that would be successful on the Portal if priced correctly. it is also something that can help others invest more in feud, and invest more in this game. the more individuals are playing elements like feud without changing trainers/coaches left-and-right, the more time they can play. the more they play, the more invested in the game and long-term health.

A boring event without literally anything.

    1. spenders got one more event (ding-dong surprise: spending is the main source of those web coins).
    2. random rewards with slight chances for a good plate
    3. zero activities, even on wwechampions.com.

    Party without fun. Event-placeholder.

UPD: no faction has reached to the last milestone. Not even close. Good job. Nice party.

i wanted to type a long paragraph expressing my displeasure but @saayukashi has stated everything that I wanted to say and has phrased it better than I would have.

I will just say one thing: These type of events show us what kind of mindset the developers have and where they are allocating their time and Company resources. Instead of fixing issues and working on providing us better gameplay experience, y’all prefer spending your time coming up with one spend event after another. We JUST had a spend event and y’all followed that by another spending contest!!

I am not against spend events but I expect as a player that the rewards should be proportionate to the prizes. Even you wouldn’t spend nearly $400 dollars to get 22k web coins to be able to get a RANDOM 130% belt!

If the prices are going to be so high, atleast justify that by coming up with guaranteed eras so we know what we are getting into!

Absolutely atrocious prices for what are becoming necessary items. IOW affiliate straps, 130% straps and plates are way too overpriced for non guaranteed results. Prices need to be cut in half or need to be made into guaranteed choices.

Outside of getting icon Charlotte there hasn't been a whole lot of incentive for webcoins. Other than just spending for the mlc contest milestones. Would welcome an expanded shop like this after this contest permanently. Similar rewards and tiers. Shards, lower end to mid tier skill plates, props, straps, gears, etc etc.

Tweak the trivia payouts and/or increase the energy limit. Or take out trivia altogether and just change it to a daily login claim if trivia is that big of an issue. One week of trivia or daily claims at 300-460 per day should be enough for the lowest tier rewards like props and C tier shards. Save for two weeks = low tier low tier skill plates, B tier shards, 5 star tokens. Three weeks = 6 star tokens, mid tier plates, gears, random straps. Save for 4-5 weeks = guaranteed straps like the 130% or even just the 100% gem or move damage ones, icon affiliation straps, maybe even sprinkle in the 25-50 shards of contest characters from the MLC like in the webcoin flash market.

Coming from a weeklong event like TMNT this web party contest is not even 1/3 of the most. I mean the milestone were set ridiculously high which required hefty amount of spending to even walk off with something usable let alone max this contest is no way near possible. This is just the exact same problem we faced when the turtles was first arrived . Remember the pizza PW, if my memory serves me correctly There’s not even a single faction is in entire game who hit the max gold chest milestone. I know you guys are more business driven with these type of projects which is absolutely fine because end of the everyone wants to earn more and more but that doesn’t mean you throw out these silly and pointless events every week or so. What’s the point of putting all this. It’s a massive cash grab which to me again proves how you feel towards your people.

When this event comes live. My intial thoughts were maybe they want to make sure that all the hoarder who have been collected their web coins this will settle all down. As they getting a somewhat better reason not to spend and even buy some more but then i realise they didn’t even care about setting up the field because they know people are just gonna through their heavy stash straight out. Tbh we just had a spectacular spend event prior to this event. Which was also not kind of pocket friendly yet players decided to invest in just because all the good stuff they could get and value that pays off and everyone was so praising about all your work and systematic efforts but after seeing this. You again proved that under no circumstances you couldn’t stick to the one rule principle. There’s no need for a spend event every single week or twice in a month. Once in a month is still kinda too much but as long as people seeing value and enjoy their time being there’s no problem with it.
In recent times, after seeing all the success of TMNT or wolfman ozzy contest you guys are much more actively involved in these pure spend events that comes like every weeklong event. Obviously you sees a lot of potential and revenue coming from these events which is again nothing to sneeze at but atleast make them more sensible and more distinctive between resources and milestone rewards. There’s literally ton of stuff you can pull off in these pure cash events like the wolfman ozzy which is great example and shows how players are able to make their decisions and go all out. We as players love these kind of spend events here and there but please don’t just ruin the fun out of these contest by throughing out one after another. Hope you guys understand my point and everyone’s opinions on this and will suggest you to discuss with your managing team and consider all these valuable aspects that needed to be taken in order to take a step in the right direction.

  • After the werewolf Ozzy spend event, then the TMNT spend event, now this one. As @saayukashi said so eloquently, this was a big miss…

First, the prices on the portal were insane. $400 for an affiliation strap is nuts. Over $150 for a random 130% gem damage strap is wild.

The top three factions combined didn't even hit the final 50M milestone. My faction is 6th, and we're not even 20% of the way there…

The loot was bad, the rewards aren't worth the spend, and webcoins are overpriced for buying them flat-out on the portal.

Overall, this was just a disheartening blow to the community vs. anything that felt remotely positive. It reads as a way for people to bleed their resources out now so they can stock up on "deals" for Black Friday/Cyber Monday. There needed to be more reasonable targets for the milestones or another way (tour, blitz, gemania, extreme rules, steel cage, something different) to earn further milestones.

While this event was meh to me, I won't complain too much in respect to the event. You got out of it as much as you and your faction could get. My issue is the loot being gone before I could spend the coins. I was trying to see what all my group would do before spending, and the look is gone. The prize wall is still there, but the loot is gone, and I unfortunately didn't get to spend the 13 I managed to get. That sucks, why not have the loot and pw on the same timer? I didn't see any extra new loots, but you snooze you lose I guess.

The concept of this event was pretty good in my view. It was a flop overall due to the scaling and pricing, but with some alterations could be a good event in the future. I wouldn't say the event was terrible, but was definitely 'skippable' for most players.

    POSITIVES:

    • Some of the web coin packs were nice. Guaranteed shards for certain styles and access to IOW affiliation straps would have been valuable for many players.

    ISSUES:

    • The vast majority of players have very very web coins so were locked out of participating in the contest.
    • The loot was very very poor, with even 'Featured' pulls giving just 10 medallions. The new skill plate wasn't strong enough to get people to chase with mega pulls.
    • The milestones weren't worth chasing because the loot wasn't good.
    • The pricing of items in the store was far too high. According the web coin pricing in the store, a random strap was priced at $150!

    SUGGESTIONS:

    • Make web portal trivia unlimited during the contest. Use a limited time currency if necessary.
    • An insanely expensive moment was released as a portal exclusive in the same week. Combining both events could have added some value. As standalones, they were both too expensive.
