I kinda like what this event was going for but they need to be easier to get the free milestones and not so focused on paying large sums to get anywhere

The flash feud weekend was pretty entertaining and have to say this one was pretty good. Reward structure is just getting better and better. The milestones were really attainable and have good amount of bayley and ZLA shards. Tbh i haven’t faced any connection error, lags or crashes during the ff weekend although i’m not sure if it’s based on the different regions but i have quite a fun time which makes the overall experience even better.

    —Faction Feud

The actual feud was great with some good lineups and bonuses. Loved the fact that we didn’t get too many zombie slots to fill out and had like perfect back and forth mix with some regular individual superstars. The added stretch milestones at 250-300M was just something that we could get way earlier. It’s really gonna push those who want to have something in return for their time and efforts. Really looking forward to see some more these exciting tweaks.
There are majority of people who loves feud but still can’t participate with their fullest potential during ff’s just bcoz of the different time zones. I understand that you don’t even see it as a problem but a part of everyone it’s really pushes us away. 4 different feuds with intervals sounds good on the paper but i’d love to see a cut off for one feud and have 3 like we had in the past (Not the 20 hr long maybe 10-12 hrs)To make things more interesting maybe introduce steel cage rules in the last feud or just keep it simple and less stressful.

    —Solo Event

The CSS tied with the warscore event were undeniably rough. I’m soo tired seeing Naomi “RETURN OF GLOW” back again & again into the mix. Not everyone can acquire these premium rare cards that costs way too much. Without all these CSS it just makes super tough to reach the end milestone or takes way longer. As matter fact i also don’t have the “Canadian Icon” Trish Stratus there’s have to be a line between free and paid stuff. Maybe some other people don’t have cards like ZBecky,ZLiv,ZSami or any non zombie superstar. The thing is there’s no point bringing the same CSS back in every single event although everything else was just fine. Great to see ZSami back on the top lane bonus in one of the feuds.

    — Faction Event

The Faction part went really well. Had some great rewards and shards for the weekend stars but sadly leaderboard still suffers with the same fate. Feud battleground event particularly for flash feuds needs to have some kind of restoration. For now, it’s more of side event who nobody cares about and most likely players can max it out with just one brawl and done. It definitely needs some sort of reset or improvement just to make a bigger impact.

    —Tours

They were just fine. We all can see you guys bring some changes in which is always a good sign. Makes it even more accessible to players and fun at the same time.

    Suggestions

    • Recently, Prize walls contains some good stuff. Which is always nice to have, it gave everyone a chance to get their hands on desired skill plates or something else. Some of the items really needed ton of spending which is absolutely fine but i hope this positive trend will keep on coming for the upcoming weekends.
    • As we all know how the blog structure is always tend to work in progress and that’s why it’s important to keep a track on what you post. I’m referring to the LA KNIGHT “NAH” shard misplacement. Don’t know if it’s done intentionally or just come up with a afterthought but the thing is it will left alot of people disappointed. The fact it happens so often many players can’t even make their choices based on the information. To make things fair you should keep it as the same way originally or just come up with something else like a compensation or moderately priced offer or whatever to keep your trust and faith intact. With everything happened in the past we all are aware that it will come down to the “Subject to change” same old story but you guys have to decide whether wanna fix your mistakes or upon make it even worse for the community.
    • Lastly, a simple yet life altering change will be including a altert slider or pop-up for the used superstars in feuds. It’s maybe not that big of change but ask players who have their lineups full of 8-9 superstars especially during ff’s where you have to memorise all of them each feud. The recent update is the true example here. Literally the best thing ever happened in this game. Freaking amazing! Definitely improves the quality of gameplay and overall experience. Hopefully see this feature down the line and would love to see how you come up with some more ideas in the future.

The Flash Feud event was good this weekend. I did not have allot of time to play but was able to get to 150 million just by working the Contest Super Stars I had. There was allot of CSS options for each flash feud. Having the option to get points from "Any Zombie" was awesome. (With the exception of Flash Feud 3) I hope future Flash Feuds offer tasks like this, for players who may not have allot of newer CSS. If I had more time to play, I would have pushed for 200 million.

The tours were good this weekend. With the exception of the LA Knight tour, I was able to complete the rest without any issues. Sunday I actually chose to use Cora Jade for the first time since the 6SS Meta. It is a nice change when you get to use posters you have not in quite some time.

I was disappointed to see there was no Jacob Fatu shards on the prize-wall. Considering he is a newer poster, yet you had Maxxine, Trish and Solo shards. It would have been nice to offer a shard pack for him. I am guessing his shards will be hard to come by now since the MLC is almost over.

Overall, pretty chill event. Please consider more Z Bayley shards for the last week of this MLC. Some of the CSS this month has been quite hard for me, and I would really love to recruit her before Zombie month is over. Also please understand allot of us would really benefit seeing more Jacob Fatu shards in future prize-walls.

    Thanks!

    The tours were decent.

The feuds werent too bad besides needing to have a plethora of zombies to fill the spot requirements for line fills (some people could have an issue, im not saying myself, just meaning in general). There is still some freezing during matches requiring force closing during matches which is still annoying, but thats in just about any mode it seems. The points seemed to be alright, especially if you had a good amount of the CSS to reach the higher milestones.

The La Knight shards seemed off, but i still managed about 4k with that 800 offer from the store 🤷‍♂️ overall, i liked the event and the mlc in whole. 3/5 characters for the month isn't too bad i recon. maybe i get la knight this way, maybe not. maybe in April…. who knows. guess i shall see. have a nice day and a Happy Halloween. happy hauntings.

Let's take a closer look at flash food in zombie month.

    Good:

    1. A simple faction event with good prizes.
    2. Good content for the wall of prizes.
    3. Not bad loots from the feud coin (I'm talking about those that give resources and shards, and not about those that contain purely shards)
    4. Simple tours

    Bad:

    1. Freezes and freezes during matches in feud mode.
    2. nflated prices on the prize wall (there are a lot of useful things in it, but at the same time it’s almost impossible to purchase everything)
    3. A bug that gives free loot packs (some were given, some weren’t, support didn’t react to it in any way. Like a bug for double gifts, here’s your compensation, but now where is your compensation?)
    4. Rewards for 250-300 million scored in the feud (meager rewards, in fact there is nothing to fight for, only shards, for such a number of required points they could put coins with TP)

Let's summarize: Overall, the event is not bad, but bugs and problems in the feud mode itself lower the rating. I give it 4/10

CSS - I would've been more themed if you stuck with all zombies for CSS. Other than that, no complaints

Format - the newer format of Flash Feuds is still good, I do like how the "shard bags" have been added to the leaderboard rewards. Makes me more rewarding to get into the top spots.

LA Knight Shards - 800 shards for $10 - yes, the value seems like it is there, but it's still disgusting to see compared to the prior months. I believe these 800 shards would have been part of the "free" portion in the prior months. Thumbs down here, I would've spent this weekend regardless, but this $10 for 800 shards was a sour taste

PW - a little bit for everyone, still enjoying the newer PW format

The downfall to zombies, the shards appearance is rather rare, so even if we are off by a little bit of shards, we are stuck waiting until the next zombie event to see them.

I liked the event and MLC but I wish the older zombies were more updated so that they can be used more and also other ways of recruiting them than to spend money on pulls

I have enjoyed the contest in a whole. But one thing I would have liked is more MLC tour matches

  • The contest was fine, the rewards were good but the problem was that some of the LA Knight shards on the f2p side never showed up.

    I Liked:

    • Shard options and prices on the prizewall were good.
    • Bonus milestones with shard bags. I didn't manage to hit the last milestone, but it's great to have 'optional' stretch milestones.
    • The shard loot and shard loot bags are great and will hopefully help me recruit some new posters before the end of the MLC.
    • CSS and requirements across the feuds were well balanced with a mix of free, rare, and premium.

    I Disliked:

    • Reducing the number of available LA Knight shards was disappointing in itself. To make matters worse, the blog then promoted that players could purchase the missing shards in a special offer. If I had to guess, I would say that many players bought the offer, but to me this was a distasteful move and insulting to your players/customers.
    • Battleground leaderboard rewards are terrible. While I wasn't aiming for a high rank, the solo points I got for the amount of time spent playing was really disappointing.
    • While I was focused on shards, the cost of the skill plates on the prize wall was insanely high.

    Suggestions:

    • Split the bonus milestone rewards in the Battlegrounds contest. Having 4 milestones (25m apart) would potentially allow players to chase an extra milestone if an extra 50m warscore was out of reach.
    • Add loot coins (or shard loot coins) as a leaderboard reward for the Battleground contest. This would allow players to make a little more progress in the solo contest but also give a little excitement that the player might get lucky on a pull.
    • Refresh the Feud bags with newer skill plates and moments. These bags were a worthwhile chase when they were first introduced but most of their contents are now outdated.

Flash Feud are the second best event: regular, weekend Feud is the best.

Was upset that the announced 5,500 event shard amount for LA Knight "Nah" was reduced to 4,800. By the time Spring Outbreak comes around there will be another super uber Modern S+ Trickster that will take his place, so that's disappointing because I was hoping to shard recruit him since vanilla SB LA Knight is "Nigh" impossible to get.

Your player base IS willing to spend money: by actually making the posters attainable is the best way to maximize your profits, yeah?

Suggestion: still need a proper S or S+ tier female Powerhouse: how about a Rhea Ripley "Demon In Your Dreams" Powerhouse with her current look?

  • RageDune
    RageDune Member ✭✭

Personally I love flash feuds over normal feud due to the fact of amount of rewards. It's tougher to grind but rewards make it worthwhile.

Most of the contest is more or less similar to recent flash feuds. Nothing much to point out except for one long time issue(for me, at least) and one suggestion.

Issue is the flash feud coins loot. In the features pool containing strap parts and medal bits(absurdly low amount at that). You already diluted the pool with so many junks, please don't dilute the features pool. I would have been more happy not pulling feature in this loot than seeing the junk feature items.

One more suggestion is to consider higher lane bonus damage output wise(especially the bottom lane) for the female feuds. Current 6sg health pool is so high compare to most female poster's damage output. Adjusting lane bonuses for female feud might compensate for it. Currently, even with feud perks boosts it's way slower compared to male brawls.

  • I did not enjoy this contest at all.

It was much better when players were kept informed at the start of the month of all of the player/item releases throughout the month so they could plan their spending and prioritize weekends/events most important to them.

I enjoy feuding and spend lots of time doing so, however the 3rd flash feud is set for 2am-8am uk time and that is really tough for even the most hardcore players, could this possibly be looked at and made fairer all round.

I have seen other comments and I do believe that newer players aren't treated well at all by scopely, how difficult would it actually be to have league specific feuding so you match with players that have similar opportunities to get posters as the players you are feuding against.

I also think you have to be fair to your player base, this seems to be a buzz word for scopely but they don't like playing fair themselves. How can you put out a 5k shard recruit card and only make 4800 shards available even if you make purchases and complete every milestone. After recent spend heavy events, to short players like this and expect them to reach into their pockets again can only be described as pure greed on your part. It was much better in previous months when shards for the s+ tier poster were gained throughout the month rather than over 1 weekend.

Lastly, adding 'poster owned' loot is grossly unfair. Even when people have these posters I don't think anyone wants to see loot like this, offers should be available to all (again in the interest of fairness).

    Hey guys!

I believe you left this behind still need to pick a winner for this one. Since it's already been 4 weeks now. Would make a perfect sense because after this month all these zombies will not have the 99 MP. Good luck to everyone!
