This weekend contest was a huge lead-down for the community.

I can’t think of any event which has these many errors and irregularities from the past few contests. It was all around massacre everything was on a rough track. At this point the blog was just pointless because at the end of the day our opinions or thoughts doesn’t even matter to anyone. Meanwhile you guys can do whatever you like or doesn’t like. I just can’t imagine that haw can someone be soo irresponsible with his task in hand rather it’s your Higher leadership,Executive managers,Technical teams,Operating officers,Administrative staff etc.
I mean at times i sort of have a feeling like this community is going too much toxic for no reason towards the management because even tho mistakes can happen anyday. The thing is how you overcome to them and what steps you taken to overcome the tough call. You guys time to time prove us all wrong and have been come up with some great ideas . Things like handling your business with proper accountability that shows your real potential value towards the whole community. I might be little overreacting on this but seriously i have soo much things to talk about on this weekend’s contest. It was definitely a terrible idea to sort the changes like you did this time around.

I don’t have a thought of writing a full page paragraph, but I believe this need to be stopped. First thing first, the implementation of blog needs to be done precisely. In case things went wrong or something needs to be corrected, at least give the people a proper chance or reason to get back. Don’t just jump in the last second and do whatever you feel like this event. You have all the time in the world before a event went live what afterwards if you need to change anything at least inform the community and do the right thing.

I don’t know where to pick and where to stop it. If we started to look besides your way the blog was full of misleading information. The actual showdown you released was literally 2 days ago. Listed that it was going to be F/F and faction points involved breaking green gems and silence gems but when we see it coming? when it goes live. The points of CSS tiffany stratton changed without even informing us with a card you can only obtain as you listed not talking here about the RNG luck but if you spend $300. It was just released like a week ago and that affected the whole SD contest. People can’t even get the chance to reach to the free milestones. I was playing to use tiffy for the bonus wins to i took her all the way to 6SS from 5G just to get my hands on few bonus rewards and besides me there were alot of ppl who levelled their promoters, a silence gem specifically card who we can use to push faction in rankings. It all goes to the bin because you thought the balancing was not up to the mark and this needed to be changed. I have to no problem with the changes and things to get rid off but atleast for once inform your community, The same people who puts insane work into your surveys, blogs or forums.

The tours suffers the same treatment in the sunday powerbomb your mom tour you clearly listed in your blog. It’s any dudley boys but in reality you get the points for using only the OG showboat and striker dudley boys which means for the people who levelled them or even bought the offers from the store just to get to the mark or hoping to pull them from the loot were straight out dumb. Although i can say this change in some way managed very well in the tour. It was also not mentioned either it was going to be a tag team. I was thinking it’s going to be one of those interchangeable matches where you can either switch to the men or women side. Also the mens were required in the second slot which mitigates the whole situation to make it even more worse.

In the end, All i can say if you really value your players or care abt us. Try to get things done in a better manner rather then taking these severe measures. The blog information needs to be done in a timely fashion. I know it always mentions “subject to change” but this did not make any sense if you changed the entire format of the weekend or else you could just shut it down and do the things that you want that way you can just get rid of all the finger pointers. Don’t worry about us because if you were really worried you would have come up with a better plan not just the similar mistakes that are always happens balancing out,Not meant to be happen, Taken the things back with authority without even hesitation that were sell in offers and onto your website.
I’d really like to see you come up with a solution in the near future and to settle things down for this week you can always compensate the players for having this rough week. Either with some events points,Debut shards or few weekend medallions or any other possible way to make it ends on a good note.

The misinformation on the blog was a shame and turned what looked like a great weekend contest into another showdown flop. When these things happen, I wish the team would own their mistake and let players progress in the contest as advertised.

The original blog was much fairer and more balanced than the event that went live. Having the previous month's chase as the 'main' CSS for showdown is much more reasonable than a $300 paywalled character. Of course, Naomi can and should be a CSS that speeds up progress, but not the central character of the entire contest.

The side contest for showdown weekends should be grindable with the help of CSS, not maxable only if you have all the CSS. I will never understand when a game actively pushes players away from participating in their content.

Prizewall - options looked quite good initially but after playing the contest, there wasn't much to choose from due to the lack of medallions available. Again, the blog caused further disappointment here.

Faction Contest - Limiting the scoring meant I couldn't contribute for my factions unless I woke up at 4am and was quick enough to score. The unlimited scoring in past months was far better. I'm also not a fan of the skill plate bags in the leaderboard. Despite opening dozens of these bags since their introduction, I have never gotten the skill plate. Yes, I know it's RNG but the contest feels worthless since the result is always the minimum amount of medallions.

Tours - No complaints. Difficulty and requirements were challenging but reasonable.

Really disappointed with the change to the showdown contest. Massively affected my ability to reach the usual level in the contest.

This kind of change should really only be made where it makes it easier to achieve milestones not more difficult.

Would be helpful to understand more of your logic when making these decisions "balance being off" just sounds shady and doesn't show that you have players interests firs

I'm going to stick to my own personal experience with this weekend.

For ShowDown, changing the task from break silence gems to break leech gems was cool. I ended up using a spec for a poster I did not normally ever use. This was huge since my only other female poster I had that broke silence was only 5SB so thank you.

Swapping to f-m in SD, ended up helping me out. I didn't really have any good females to break green, so I was able to swap to a male poster and complete it quick. Thanks.

Taking away points for a SD win with Tiffy was a letdown after earning her from the previous MLC. I was excited when I earned her and was looking forward to using her a couple times in SD with her recent move update.

I felt the faction task of breaking green and breaking leech should have been a bigger value. My faction completed it in a couple hours. Due to time zones, I wish it was 5 times the amount. This would allow for all members to participate, pending time zones.

I completed all the tours except the Mae Young ones and had no issues. I thought it was VERY fair that you allowed us to use a female for the Dudley tour. Also, the fact that we could use the original ones was a huge win.

Completing all the tours I mentioned and doing all the task for SD except the 3 paid wall posters barely had me at the gold milestone. We received fewer solo points this event than previous ones. Also, I only ended up with 3,700 medallions so pending what I get from faction rank, I might not even able to get a 4k plate.

Overall things change and I am used to it by now. Hopefully some of the feedback given is helpful in delivering a better experience in the future.

Overall it was a chill event. Thanks

  • Why was the shard loot taken down so early? There are still shard loot coins available in the contest but the loot is not there. Why take it down so early when players are wanting to take advantage of that?

so far it’s ok but I feel not having one of the Dudleys to pair up for the showdown hurts the experience

liked the event but the challenge modes are ridiculous for the tech choices, loot coins sucked never had much luck off the random pulls, but the Mega downfall was the premium blitz was unfair should have a separate one for people who can’t take part in the premium one so we have someone to take part in as a lot of people don’t have the hall of famers required.

so into the next event for the week hopefully more accommodating.

    Oh boy! Here we go

We as players accept the subject to change situation. We know that things can change. OK with that. But you put a CS to read a blog with information that was completely changed and we notice that when the showdown was live on Saturday

So you as a company have more than 24 complete hours to notify us that since the blog was readed in the stream

People who spent resources leveling female wrestlers for the silence gem requirement got screwed with the change to leech

You can easily add the Tiffany Stratton point method, at least reduced the points we could earn for completing the task.

  • I've enjoyed having mae young in the game, brings light to those that paved the way for women within the industry. However I feel that this game can improve by having an option where you can buy the character or have a lootcase specifically designed to obtaining characters the player has not got as this will bring a level of play for the players and a worthwhile achievement at the end. Also some of the tours requirements are a little damaging too especially when the attacks moves are so low where the health won't even deplete. Overall though I've enjoyed seeing mae young within this game and hope to see many more iconic women being brought into this game showing recognition of there career.

What a weekend, we all know what STC means and we come to expect it but come on! no prior notice or communication? Could the rebalancing not have taken place prior to the weekend happening? You really need to get this stuff ironed out before an event goes live so we know 100% what we have and what we need to do.

That been said i actually didnt mind the weekend. Tours were do able, showdown contest i managed to get to 1.8m using the techs and max showdown coin promoters and every single bit of energy available.

Faction rewards were very mehh and could do to be updated.

    Communication needs to improve

  • All Showdowns are always done wrong. They changed bonus characters at the last minute just to make them waste money excessively. Again, such strong greed with bonuses never reaches free to play

  • The blog information doesn't reflect the tours or superstars that will be required for said tours so it's difficult to max milestones

I understand the point on premium superstars providing an extra but just removing a more common superstar and replacing it with the chase doesn't seem fair

showdown and tours were okay. I hadn’t noticed what requirements were promoted at first as opposed to what actually was needed for showdown so I played it through just fine, but I understand everyone’s frustration with the changing needs. I don’t understand why the shard loot was taken down so early though. You’re still offering it on the store, so the loot should still be up. I have coins I can’t redeem because it was removed early.

at first thanks for great work

event in general is good and best part the new skill plate it’s game changer for many superstar and it’s not expensive like all new plates

showdown was good I get my 700 k point without but any new energy and I was missing Mae and new Naomi

Maybe hardest part in event the hell in challenge tour if you missed acrobat Rhea will be hard to finish that

    See you next week

This event was actually fun I didn't get mae young but the roll out for this event was actually good..the only thing I might change is the price of some of the plates on the prizewall because I spent and grind and was nowhere near close to getting a Piper plate

This past weekend showdown event was a major disappointment. You too away Tiffany from the contest superstar and replace with someone that was pay to play. It greatly affected my overall score. You also took away one task from the faction event which made it a pay to complete event. Now I can't even redeem the shard coins that I got from the milestones.

  • So the contest itself was fine, same showdown structure that were used to. Got a chuckle out of the Mae Young & Mark Henry tag team. I do think the tech challenge versus Jade Cargill was a bit extreme and maybe the difficulty should have been scaled down a tad.

I'm also glad to see bags back which give players a chance at the poster rather than just purely shards in rewards. It gives every player a chance at posters and I'm all for it.

Regarding the shard loot, is there a way going forward we can obtain 10 pulls instead of 9, just so we dont have to tediously do 9 individual pulls? Considering its shard loot I'm sure you can pony up one more pull and just make the experience feel a little more rewarding.

Let's address communication though please, you put out a blog that is there for people to get information and can even plan their talent up accordingly based on the css or criteria you put in the blog, for example, people taking Tiffy up for the showdown requirement. And then you have content creators streaming said blog to a number of people. They may as well have not streamed it of you were going to make so many key changes at the last second (F/F to F/M showdown, leach gems instead of silence gems, and Tiffy swapped out for Naomi). If you're going to make changes, COMMUNICATE IT, send a message, let people know 'hey we said one thing and we messed up', at the very least give some compensation for changing so many things, whether that's one pull, some extra shards, some points/tokens/coin, I don't care what, I just want some accountability.

So far so good. Tours seem tougher but whatever. I'm still not spending a lot of cash on this, anymore.

The tours were fine and I personally like this way of shard recruiting with bags and milestones you should keep this format for next mlcs

It would be cool to get a compensation for your screwed up CSS Things like, for me in this example, the 180 Maxxine Shards i missed, because i couldnt get the Milestone at 1,8million.

It`s one thing to write something wrong but it`s something different, when there are at least 2-4 lies in 1 single Blog Post which bombs the complete weekend for at least 80% of your (paying) players

  • For an event that had a lot of major changes implemented also on the day of release (much to chagrin of most) this event was another enjoyable if uneventful series of battles for supposed dominance.

So once again, here is the breakdown:

Tours: The tours once again were perfectly serviceable in their execution, as have most of the tours recently. While I do agree the switching which version of the dudleys that would be used was a bit short sited (when realistically it should have been both sets regardless because they are both dudleys anyway), it didn't have too much of a negative on the tours in general. Still not too keen on the idea of having medallions being scarcely found in anything other than the tour that requires the character per say, but it is understandable to a certain degree.

Showdown: While the showdown itself was fine, again the ill-timed change to a character that a majority of the player-base didn't have, and focusing more on the rarer characters that a lot of players don't have was a bit underhanded. At minimum players should have access to 3 characters that can be interchangeable, that way it would be fairer to players who are F2P. In addition the cap on faction tasks either needs to be increased to allow for easier completion, or be removed all together, as it feels imbalanced and unfair to players in different time zones.

Prizewall: Again not terrible, but I think the prizewall needs rebalancing, as the current range of medallions needed even for some of the less rare items seems a bit excessive given how scarce they are in the event it self.

Overall it wasn't too bad of an event, but it still needs refinement to find a balance that makes it equal for all players not just those who can afford the rarer parts of the game.

I liked the gameplay in the tours and Showdown. No glitches, wasn't slow. The special wrestlers for the bonus points were ones not too many players had. It got harder when Tiffany Stratton wasn't on the list, since she was before it started.

I couldn't get Mae, but I got enough shards to finally get retro Bianca, so at least I got someone new out of this. All in all, it was a positive experience for me.

  • Two things I definitely appreciated about this weekend:

the shards you made available on the prize wall. A nice selection and you made them fairly affordable. Yes I had to decide between two options, but I got the ones I wanted and it made the event very worthwhile.

Secondly, I appreciate you throwing unlimited chances at bonus points in SD for using specific cards or classes. Helps the grind immensely. Please keep this as a feature!

    Thank you!

  • I feel like you've heard the rumblings about the blog discrepancy so I won't go into that, though do know that it was a huge negative.

I will say the number of points available allowed me to get to the top "non bonus" milestone without spending and with our the two rarest css.

It seems there is a focus on active factions to get the points, I like that.

I would adjust the spending of coins tell after the event ends. Some players claimed the final reward and can not use the coins.
