Clash of Champions Flash Feuds

Early feedback is the times are stupid and sanity is being questioned. Rewards are still lackluster outside of the top top factions and even then it's less the rewards and more you get resources. It also shows how bad normal feud rewards are.
Edit 9/14 post event feedback
confirmed the times were hated by the vast majority of people.
The rewards were awful for the vast majority. The most useful was the 2 million coins each of the 4 feuds which just raises the question of why are normal feuds only 2 million coins but nearly as long as flash feuds. No full character reward for that much required feuding is disappointing to say the least. At least the last feud had a fuse even if the character wasn't good.
The solo event was easier than most expected at the start. Checking leaderboard the top 100 all hit it with a decent cushion. The faction event on the other hand was awful. The skill plate is great but the event was only maxed by 2 factions. Even if it's geared towards the "elite" it missed the mark. If the top 5 fail to hit it theres a definite design problem.

Yet another bust... If you devoted 80% of your weekend to feuding, then you may have maxed the solo event. WHat was the reward? Lackluster at best resources, and a new skill plate best used on a new character that you cant get unless you spend around $800. As of right now, ONE SINGLE FACTION has maxed the faction event, and again, lackluster rewards. What is going through the minds of the event designers when they make these?? Once again, 1 step forward, 10 steps back.
Its not conceivable that you can boost the milestones of an event because we are getting more points in feuds (because of 5s), yet the amount of resources we get from said events stays the same or even goes backwards!

The rewards that were being offered for a contest that had such high milestones were sub par to say the least. The previous Flash Feud contest offered more coins, gear for the monthlong chase superstar, and a 5SG token. To make things even better, the goal posts were a lot closer (300,000,000 points closer). The fact that only 2 factions were able to max the contest shows you how out of reach the final milestone was in the first place.
What is happening and has become the trend, is every time that we offer positive feedback on an event or contest, you guys take that as it was too easy and we need to make it harder the next time. This is why a lot of people are afraid to offer positive feedback.
Additionally, the rewards for the flash feuds themselves were sub par to say the least. In previous flash feuds the final reward was a 4 star poster. Regardless of who the poster was, it was a 4 star poster none the less. In under one year, you went from giving AMAZING rewards at the supper slam flash feud contest to giving less than sub par rewards at this one.

Bad Milestone rewards for flash feud. Tje milestones (solo and faction) were to high especially for the baf rewards. Still red ring issues, which can cost milestones at the end.
The feud times were bad, too. Doesnt matter which timezone it was. And this brings us back to the first points with the milestone issues.
The lineups were a bad decision, too. Better then the first versions of it, but at the end most of it were no good choice for many many players

Milestones were way too high and not worth to spend nearly your whole weekend for it.
Same for the Feud rewards, they defenitly need a revamp. Stop giving out useless shards or common cards. Rank 1-10 should get a rare card, 11-100 shards of it.
They need more coins, tp's, token.
You have to spent a lot of coins for the perks, moving trainers/coaches, and don't get nearly anything back for it
The times were ok, except for the last Feud. You can't start a Feud in the middle of the week if 90% of the community have to work.

Pros: The feud gameplay itself is a fun mode. Scoring extra points for the contest with the MLC superstar and various others was a good addition.
Cons: The rewards need a serious revamp, not only for flash feuds but regular as well. The amount of time competing in a top faction and resources used to participate are nowhere near the time invested and haven’t been for a long time. Back to back flash feuds gave a lot of people burnout as well. I would consider no more than one flash feud every other month. The associated events for time out in were simply nowhere near worth it.

Pro: Feuding is fun if you like doing it. Bonus points were nice but also needed.
Cons: the feud times were god awful. The rewards were the worst we’ve ever seen. Going from 5 mil top milestone to 13 was a huge jump. Should of been 8 or 9 million. Will the game crashes after feuds aka fireballs and connection errors ever be fixed? It’s been years at this point.

I couldn’t agree more with the other feedbacks. From times to rewards, for many it was a easy pass. There needs to be a good balance and payout from sticking thru the weekends, and people actually were hoping a card in leaderboard but once again shards, resources were even downgraded in the leaderboard

Pretty much everything about this series of flash feuds was panned. The times were awful for pretty much everyone. Having a feud that stretches into the work day for European and Asian players while also alienating half the American players by ending after midnight is asinine. To compound the problem the rewards weren’t very good. The last few feuds were slightly better (mostly because the associated events had better rewards). Shards for characters that the top have for the most part and the bottom would need 10x feud rewards to unlock make the whole exercise feel worthless. The coins are ok on face value but when you compare it to the amount spent on perks it too becomes a losing proposition for players (top factions and lower factions alike). I’ve said it many times for an event that is set up to be the marquee event of the game the rewards are tragically low removing most of the importance or the event or the feud itself. As a side note the point totals for both the faction and solo events were out of whack. In the end very few players could even sniff the highest tiers and only two factions were able to max the event even after feuding non stop and spending on roster moves. The last few feuds and events worked reward wise better because more factions (upwards of 10) were finishing the event adding that to their feud winnings. Others were reaching the second to last milestone also making their total rewards closer to a valid level. Mind you none of those factions were succeeding without money spent and time spent. As a result I am not entirely sure why it was felt needed to move the goalposts.
In the end the differing requirements were acceptable allowing for more diverse play. There seemed to be a lesser amount of red ring then normal. The game seemed more stable then the last set of feuds.

Pros:
- It's over
Cons:
- horrible hours
- horrible rewards
- crazy high solo milestone numbers
- crazy high faction milestone numbers (only 2 maxed
- "flash" feuds were far from flash and really long at 7-8h each
- tons of technical issues, from constant red rings to server crash kicking out of the game, considering how much grind was needed the red rings were making things even harder

- Flash Feuds were really bad for me personally. I am in the UK and and the times for the flash feuds were awful. I think most people in Europe would agree.
- Rewards for Flash Feuds were disappointing too. Enough of the Matt Hardy shards already!
- The milestones were incredibly difficult. Bare in mind, if you calculate how many people play this game, how many active factions are in the game and only two factions managed to max the event, I draw the conclusion that the milestones were too high for most people and factions.
- I also am finding it difficult going after the chaser character Walter this month. There aren't enough shards available in the game (not everyone has 15m coins to spend every few days). On tours, I don't have the required superstars to get them extra 35 shards either - I find myself in a vicious circle with this each month, unable to get the chaser character because I was unsuccessful with previous chaser characters, for the exact same reason as before. Please don't be so restrictive on characters required. Also, due to the free character this month being awful, I am not even trying hell on daily tours anymore and have left at 3SS.
- Showdown - where to start? Please don't use this format again. Showdown is the one event that people enjoy and are willing to put the hours in due to the resources available (mainly 6-7m coins). We use these coins to improve our rosters, this past weekend's SD was awful and has been widely criticised across the board. These changes also affect players from Europe again. It is impossible to get to 1200 and stay there to reap rewards unless you're pulling an all nighter. 500 was manageable and people were content with that. If you keep this format, then 15K should be the minimum for the lowest of leagues.
- Coin events - please can we reduce the final milestone of 15m coins for Walter shards.
Positive feedback:
- I am enjoying the MUTU event so far, it isn't particular hard and it's enjoyable.
- I am enjoying the event as a whole, despite the lack of Walter shards I am getting.
- Although SD has reduced coins and TP in rewards, I am finding that other events do have a lot, however I would still like to see more coins and TP in rewards as levelling up superstars can cost quite a bit.
