Final Boss Feud Feedback

on paper this looks like feuding is now totally worthless beyond maxing the warscore event. You get literally nothing for playing beyond 100m points whereas in the past you could pretty much guarantee the weekend recruit by playing most of it. Theres no longer a reason to purchase steps or the managers pass since the competition isn’t there.

Completely disappointed in this event. I was one of the people who pulled Rock from a bag. I was pretty excited since I don't have a good Rock on my roster. Taking him away was bogus. It was a screw up by you and we as players got punished for it. Absolutely atrocious.

never again should people have things removed from their rosters because on of your employees made a mistake! I earned the final boss fair and square and had him taken from my roster including the 1110 shards I earned of him spending my hard earned money and cannot get a response from support as to getting my shards back. The restructure of the point system makes it completely pointless to fued because now fued earns you nothing, no month long character no mlc points it’s completely pointless now.

AS A COMPANY, DO BETTER!!!! You owe the champions community big off this last mess up!!!

I like the moves for rock and fan of rock I want to have a freebie rock in my roster bcoz it look good and have good moves with great damage

I think it was ok. Definitely not easy to get all the rewards but i gave me sometiing to do. I think they should make it easier to get rewards.

Community managers, I know you are reading what we are saying considering you have the time to edit mean comments but not the courage to give us half a decent reply and an explanation of what is going on. The biggest question is, how would you determine who legitimately got the Rock Final Boss and who got it because of the “technical issues” since you have taken away EVERYONE’S Rock away(except those who got through loot pulls). What about those who got it through the “intended odds” but there’s was taken away too? Also what about the Victory tour that has a good amount of resources? Why isn’t that in the compensation?

Do not think for even one second that we don’t know what’s going on. You closing Forum discussions without a proper explanation and banning people from the EXCLUSIVE TOWNHALL Discord server because they raised a voice against you has not gone unnoticed. Your antics have been observed by everyone and the disdain that Firpo has for all of us is out in the open. Ever since Firpo posted about everything being “fine” and that we are the ones running around with “pitchforks”, there have been 10+ errors, glitches and lies in the past 2 weeks. From the lie about Andrade not being required for Kickoff CSS to you removing stuff because you messed up.

You guys are very bad at your jobs. You think just because you are in charge of some stuff in a mobile game company that gives you the right to talk down to us and try to make us look like savages running around with “pitchforks”.

Firpo LIED about enough people not maxing April’s MLC. Normally 3500-4000 people max it but in April the number was down to approx 2700. Do you not even play your own game? This info was there in the game! How can you lie about such stuff? I dont wanna go off topic but its clear as a sunny day that you guys LIE to us and then hide being the TH server where you communicate with only the whales and the so called streamers who are just an extension of you guys, and if anyone tries to raise their voice against your unethical antics(ScottGoBlue for eg) you guys BAN them.

I'm going to be as constructively critical as I can. I don't ever believe a rant influences positive change so here goes. I don't believe Scopely had a contingency plan for the weekend, particularly when The Rock card was made available to a lot of people and then taken back. Personally, I don't understand how a 3-star bronze card hurts the company, but I do believe there was no plan to simply change the contest, which would have consisted of perhaps the HHH card. I can see the flip coin where HHH was not available in pulls, but again, people were penalized. I believe this could have been avoided through simple checks and balances. If this is already happening, how did multiple people miss it? I couldn't care less about the card, but I am big on accountability, which you mentioned you were, but other than tossing out a few gifts, what other accountability measures were taken? In addition, you refer to fair play, but this game lacks a lot of that. Newer players are not able to get older cards, resources, etc, and therefore, the game lacks anything comparable to those things. For example, drip plates and ghostbuster plates are gone, but if the game will never have them again, newer players will always at a disadvantage since they can never get them or their equivalent.

On to the FF contest. I think that having CSS as part of the feud is catered to people that spend. For example, I understand promoting a card like The Rock, but HOF DDP is a new card and not everybody has him and unless you spend, you're likelihood of getting him via shards is minimal. Therefore, why not put cards in the mid-line bonus that everybody should have or a card that's not just a month or two old. Overall, I think the changing of contests and how they're scored is a relatively slippery slope since there are great ideas lacking realistic milestones. An example would be just a few months ago when the Feud was changed and the max milestone was 400 million. After the contest was over, resources were provided because you were made aware that it was very difficult to achieve. The contests are getting more difficult, which is fine, but in the spirit of fairness that you preach, why are lower league players hamstrung by their limited roster, resources, and unwillingness to spend big money? That's not in the spirit of competition, that's the spirit of paying to compete. Also, the blitz was followed up with getting shards on the 2nd match IF you had the new Rock card. What was the purpose of that?

A final note for clarity. I was a recipient of The Rock card and will attribute this to a real life example. If I were to go to the store with the intent to purchase something and my thought was the clerk will do their job when I put it on the conveyor and my job is to pay for it when they're done, is it MY job to monitor what they've done? Furthermore, once I were to get my items home and a store representative were to then knock on my door and ask for either the item back or that I should have to pay, the answer is No. My response would be your staff is responsible for doing their job and the agreement that is made is that I pay for my product and your staff does their job. If further quality assurance checks are needed on your end, that's your responsibility and not mine. To address this, I think Scopely should simply publish a specific set of instructions as to what will happen when they make a mistake moving forward so people know what to expect because as a player of this game, it's been inconsistent often times and players deserve better. I don't think it would be fair for those to keep the card while others didn't have a chance, but what I've referenced are specific contradictory's to Scopely's response of accountability and fairness since no other part of this game would support that. Surely the only choice here is to give the rock to everyone that beat the challenge. The imbalance this causes is unmeasurable. From bonus for the faction feud to the resources from the victory tour. There can only be one answer here and that is to give him to everyone so everyone is on the same playing field

Fued scoring - should be more points earned for beating 6sg. The 6ss points should of stayed the same and 6sg should of scaled up appropriately.

Rock fiasco - handled very poorly.

Feuding seems pointless. Years ago you’d get a character or a bunch of shards. Now I’m just doing it to get tickets for the blitz, which ultimately only gets me points for the contest.

another week, another mess up….. you are not so slowly sucking any enjoyment out of this game.

The scoring for the feud was pretty off too….. instead of keeping the scores the same and giving more points for beating 6sg you, you give 300k for beating 6sg and drop the point by half for beating 6ss, which is a kick in the teeth to a lot of people especially ftp players.

My son stopped playing a few months ago because he wasn’t having as much fun as when we 1st started together, but did ask me this weekend if he could start again and I could honestly tell him not to bother n download candy crush is he wants a gem match game to waste a little time.

"An eventful weekend" disingenuous tone aside, I think the community DESERVES to know why an advertised outcome in a loot can have "unintended" attached to it. Help us understand how a "chance" doesn't equal a "chance". This is almost as ludicrous as going into a casino winning a "jackpot" only to have staff take it away because the person sitting next to you didn't win.

I feel so far with the whole Rock issue, it was handled ok. Most would disagree but I have no major issues with it. Just wish feud scoring system needs to be corrected. I was feuding more than I ever had and I just barely reached 50 million mark, only 3 of us in our faction did and we usually have many more than that hit that much. The free token packs have been great! Finally in loot pulls why are there so many old superstars that have no upgraded buffs? Makes no sense because they are useless.

It's amazing, it takes no time for them to "fix" the bag issue however it will probably take days for Scopely to come up with a solution. Meanwhile, some of us do not have him on our roster, which also means we will miss out on the medallions for this tour.
